Review: This the letter that was recently sent to the Dealer:Recall Announced MAY ** 2015Summary: Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2005-2009 Dodge Ram 2500, 2004-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 and Durango, 2006-2009 Dodge Ram 3500, 2008-2010 Dodge Ram 4500 and 5500, 2007-2008 Chrysler Aspen, 2005-2010 Chrysler 300, 300C, SRT8, Dodge Charger and Magnum, 2005-2011 Dodge Dakota, and 2006-2099 Mitsubishi Raider vehicles. The affected vehicles are equipped with a dual-stage driver frontal air bag that may be susceptible to moisture intrusion which, over time, could cause the inflator to rupture.Consequence: In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the driver's frontal air bag, the inflator could rupture with metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.Fix: Chrysler will notify the affected Chrysler and Dodge owners and Mitsubishi will notify the affected Raider owners. Dealers will replace the driver's frontal air bag inflator, free of charge. The recall began for Chrylser on June *, 2015We are now in the month of October and this is the response that Ive gotten from your dealer ship -A letter stating that you dont have the part to fix the current problem. Thats its: thats the response to an issue that can cause serious injury or Death. The question I raise to this dealership and its management team and maintenance. Will it take an occurrence of serious injury or even death before the issue/problem on my car is dealt with. Attempts made via phone call but as always bounced around. Is this an indication to the public how you respond to serious matters at hand after you sold a vehicle to a consumer at large? Whats the value of a consumers life? Well see how the general public weighs in on your non response via social media as well as a notification NHTSADesired Settlement: Repair.

Review: I was told that my vehicle had an oil leak and my battery is no good but when I took it to the shop my battery was fine. I started the car before I took it to the shop and everything came on except for the car. So I know that it wasn,t the battery. I think that it was the starter. I tried to call the dealer back several times and he never called me back. He kept calling my childrens father. I finally spoke to him this morning and I asked him for the price and he told me that my hsband is supposed to pay for it. I asked him for the price 3 times before he told me and he told me that it cost $1585.00. I don,t think that,s the price because I didn't have too many things wrong with my car. Then he told me that my battery was no good and I just got a new battery last year. I think that this guy is giving me the run around and his name is Paul.Desired Settlement: I want the car to be rechecked and its still at the shop because I cannot to take it out of the shop until next week.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[redacted]i picked my car up from the dealer and they lost my plate[redacted]

I made an appointment with Eastchester Chrysler on 7/*/2015 which I test driver a wrangler. My credit was ran on the same day we came to an agreement and a I made a deposit. The next day I went back in to talk to the sales manager and look over my deal. So far everything was going well he told me to pick up the car the next day. I transferred my insurance over to the new car got all the documents over to the sales rep like they asked. On Friday I went in to pick up my new car but was told that the finance manager had to talk to me which I was ok with. After 30 mins the finance manager came to get me he brings me into the office and tells me that I need a co signers. I was not happy that this is all coming up at this time as I should been told this on the first day my credit was ran so I asked to talk to the manager. Mr Wess w[redacted] comes in the office and I start to talk he stops me and tells me to sit down to talk I told him I rather stand. At that point he tells me if I don't sit he won't talk to me he treatment was not professional he shut me down and did not let me get a word in all I wanted was to understand why I wasn't told of this issue from the start since my credit was ran on the first day. I asked for his business card and he told me he's not giving me one I asked him for his managers name and he dismissed me. As I walk out the sales rep stop me to ask what happened and I told him I asked home for the owners name and phone and he siad the receptionist can give me that info ad I'm talking to the receptionist Mr Wess W[redacted] comes out his office and shout across the show room ' everyone disburse ' all the employees around me got up and walked away alienating me. My experience at Eastchester Chrysler was very negative I felt humiliated by not by the sales reps but by management if I am to rate Mr Wess professionalism on a scale from 1 to 10 it will be a 0. I am a manager in my line of business and I will never treat a customer in that manner. I will be reporting this to the attorney general and also the CEO of Chysler Mr Sergio M[redacted]. Mr Wess told me he's been a manager for over 20yrs it's hard to tell his way of bullying customer might of work 10yrs ago but times have change he need to get with the program and shame on his managers as well that they are not observing the way he treats his customers.

Review: I called and set up an appointment with the dealership on Sunday 12/* as my check engine light came on Saturday night 12/*/15. I got a 7:30am appointment for Monday 12/*, I dropped my vehicle off and was called stating that the reason for my check engine light coming on was mil due misfire so an emission cleaner and throttle body service was said to have been done. I was able to retrieve my vehicle that same day (Monday), with the issue stated to be resolved. When I got there my bill was $516.81, I got in, check engine light was gone and I was happy to have my baby (jeep) back. Wednesday 12/* evening I was driving and what do you know my check engine light comes on. I arrived at the dealership at 7:15am Thursday [redacted] to inform the mechanics that my check engine light is on AGAIN, also: as I get out of my vehicle all of them are like "weren't you just hear for a pickup". Two days later after getting it "fixed" I am back for the same concern. So today [redacted] after dropping my jeep off again I get called & told that it will cost me additional money as I need spark plugs which is why my check engine light is on. I have missed hours of work Monday & Wednesday of this week going back and forth to drop & pick up my vehicle all for the same concern that I initially went in with. After spending over $500.00 for my issue with my check engine light to get resolved it is unacceptable that my check engine light is on two days later & a request for more money. About $300 more dollars expected of me in order to get my Jeep fixed, all which should have been resolved the 1st time. My intentions were not to pay anyone to take a guess at what was wrong with my vehicle.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for such a disservice and inconvenience. I paid for a resolution and received unsatisfactory service, nothing was repaired.

Review: On February **, 2014 I put a deposit to purchase a car for $250.00. I changed my mind and decided that I didnt want to go with the deal. I requested a refund. I went to the location a [redacted] the [redacted] told me to write down my debit information and he will process it. Weeks passed and refund never came through. I have called, gone back to the dealer and no one is able to help me. I just want my $250 refunded to my account it has been 6 months now.Desired Settlement: Its been 6 months already and I dont want to wait any longer, I want the refund in cash.

Response:

I'm so sorry about the confusion. I have all the proper information and it will be processed today.

Review: Betweeen Nov, 2012 and March **, 2013 I brought my 2007 chrysler sebring to Eastchester chrysler dodge initially due to overheating. They were perfect gentleman, offered a loaner car and indicated my entire cooling system had to be repaired. I paid about $1600 and after 7 days picked up the car. Within 2 weeks the auto started but indicated overheating. I brought it home. Next day the battery also was dead. I called the dealership and they said to have it towed. I had it towed thru Chrysler roadside service. I paid about $200 for a full electrical diagnostic. I was told a blown fuse caused the fan not to turn and the car to overheat and drain the battery. Again I picked up the car thinking it was fixed. Again within a few weeks the car did not start again. I called and again had to have car towed (as they indicated it should not be driven). I complied with their advice, had it towed. This time they indicated they could find 'nothing' wrong with the car - but had a charge for me to pick it up. They said probably a battery connection was corroded. I was told to start the car daily. I met with the service manager as now I lacked any confidence that they could FIND and FIX whatever caused the ORIGINAL problem that was obviously still causing a problem. They waived their charges, put in a new battery despite them telling me the battery was fine (and the car kept failing electrically). Within 2 weeks same problem. Car would not start, I called the tow yet again (now it is 4 repair attempts and 3 tows). The mgr told me 'EXPERTS' from chrysler would come in and look at every wire to find whatever was shorting out my car. I was called and told it was a faulty cigerette lighter (something was broken) causing constant shorting - that the car was ready for pick up - BUT, OH BY THE WAY, THE RADIATOR IS CRACKED AND LEAKING FLUID AND CANNOT BE DRIVEN.............. (what ?). I asked did that happen on the TOW - they indicated that it was possible but could not SAY that. To repair would cost about $700. The only way to get my car (since it could not be driven) was to pay the repair. 4 repair attempts and 3 tows for one cigerette lighter shorting the system (with full electrical diagnostic done and full cooling system replacement) and told nothing wrong with the car ------------ only to leave me having to pay $1600 originially, another $200 and then $700 to pick up the car. I would NEVER have put the car to the risk of 3 TOWS had they identified and repaired the problem one of the 3 previous attempts to do so.Desired Settlement: They knew my situation (on disability income due to severe medical problems). They knew I was on chemo and in need of that vehicle to reach my appointments. They knew I depended on a service dog - and could not reach my medical appointments or use my service dog due to lack of having a vehicle over 4 months. They knew my disability income would not tolerate $2500 in repairs (for a car they said originally they fixed, then said had no problem and then they found/fixed it - but OH by the way - the car cannot be driven as the radiator is cracked). They have lost me as a customer; they have turned me fully off to ALL chrysler products (and service) and in this last event - they have performed service malpractice. How can their technicians miss a problem with cigerette lighter on 4 attempts ? How can they in good conscious put my car at the risk of damage to all those tows - by not repairing it in the first place ? I want the $700 last charge credited to my American Express credit card. Aside from their malpractice, they had no right to tell me time/again that there was 'nothing' they could find..................$2500 in repairs and 3 tows !!!!!!!! I want the last $700 charge credited to my AmEx immediately. I am taking this corporate and will stop at nothing to have this resolved.

[redacted]'s vehicle was towed to our service department for the complaint of her battery being dead. After our tech spent several hours to find the cause of the battery being dead, the Tech found there were broken pieces of Phone or some adaptor in the cigarette lighter housing was causing drainage to the battery. The dealership did not charge any amount for the battery and labor time to [redacted]. Upon further inspection our Tech found leakage of the coolant from the radiator, the cause is unknown. An Estimate was given to [redacted], and the repair was performed with her authorization. The Dealership does not owe any refund to [redacted] for the repairs that were authorized. If you have any further questions regarding the above complaint number, you can reach me at ###-###-####.

At this time, I have not been contacted by B&Z Auto Enterprises, LLC regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: From the beginning we had false information regarding the purchase of the vehicle at Eastchester Chrysler Dodge Jeep. On May [redacted] from the financial dept. told us that we were approved by a bank but it was only for the Mountaineer that we have. On May ** we signed the papers believing him that this was the only truck the bank approved us for. From then on the truck has been giving us problems from failing brakes to the entire brake system needing repairs. We only had it for 2 1/2 months and we are not feeling safe in it. I spoke to the [redacted] and he refused to help me. He said the ** is the one that deals with this. But the problem is the ** refused to help me. Told me that there is nothing more that they could do for me keep the truck and trade it in after 10 mths. The truck has been in the dealership 4times and still the problem continues. I contacted the bank and they told me that I was approved for a $ amount not a specific vehicle. And when I mentioned this to the ** he told me it's too late for anything to be done I am stuck with it because the bank will never agree to switching the truck for another reliable and working vehicle as per the **. I called the bank and they told me that is not true that the dealership has a moral right to switch the non working truck to a more reliable and safe truck,if my truck isn't working right. But the ** refuses and continues to tell me to leave it in the dealership. I'm not paying a large amount every month for this truck to be in the dealership every weekend. I really need Revdex.com's help. I have a child that goes in the truck and it's not a safe vehicle. When I told the ** about switching the truck for one on the website he told me that he lost soo much money fixing my truck that he doesn't want to lose more money on switching another truck. But it's not my fault he sold me a piece of junk.Desired Settlement: My desire is to switch the truck for a more reliable and safe truck. Take my deposit of $2600 and put it towards a new truck and continue paying the bank. The bank said that it is allowed by them.

Upon [redacted] coming to

our dealer we attempted to get her a loan for a vehicle of choice. Based on the

fact that we needed to go to a secondary finance source ( Credit Acceptance

Corp.), our selection of acceptable vehicles that we could sell and not lose

thousands of dollars on was limited. [redacted] was given 3 choices of

automobiles, with varying down payment options. Based on her available down

payment, this was the vehicle that she selected after a test drive and

presentation of price, monthly payments, and interest rate. The visit that [redacted] had with our service department resulted in us fixing the requested items

that malfunctioned. After a few months, [redacted] visited a local repair shop

and they had suggested some work be done and gave an outrageous quote of over

$1000. This vehicle was not in need of such maintenance, and after we offered

to look at this car in our shop she declined. It is not our business practice

to just pay for repair costs with out diagnosing the car here. After her refusal

to work with us, there is not much we can do at this point. Never have we

declined services to [redacted], and this vehicle was selected by her and her

husband on the day of purchase. Nothing was forced. Please advise how I can alleviate

the situation, Thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The response from the dealership is all lies. I never test drove the truck and was never given three options. [redacted] from financial told us in front of [redacted] that this is the only vehicle the bank approved us for. Also and as my first vehicle why would I chose a v8 truck, that is just commen sense. Now regarding the repairs, I have all the receipts for all the repairs. Since the beginning this truck was in the service center. The dealership never resolved the problem with the truck. And when I called to speak to the [redacted] he was rude and Nasty. He answered me back telling me to go gett a lawyer because he lost so much money in repairs for this vehicle that he's not helping me anymore. And I replied it's not my fault you sold me a lemon. And regarding the down-payment, I gave $2600. According to [redacted] in financial the bank wanted $2600 and I've been communicating with the bank this whole time and they said that all of this is not true. All I am asking for is a vehicle that I can feel safe that my child is in. I want my $2600 down payment to be applied to another vehicle of my choice, and my monthly payments carryover to the other vehicle of my choice. And one last thing [redacted] also told me before I signed any papers that this truck is a certified pre owned, I found out from the bank that it's not. And let's not forget the [redacted] of this so called dealership wanted nothing to do with me.

[Your Answer Here]

This is totally false, I have all the approval bank letters from numerous banks. Also the ** never offered to take a ride in my truck. He is a liar and so is everyone in this dealership. My truck is in a mechanic today and it's been in there since Thursday. I will pursue this further and will not rest until this ** is fired and held accountable for selling me a defective truck... And for his salesman [redacted] and [redacted] from financial will also be held accountable. This dealership has numerous complaints and their reviews are very sad. So Revdex.com this is going nowhere and I will pursue this legally.. I'm done with taking his lies and false statements. I have all the proof and also all the approval letters from numerous banks with lower payments and lower rates.

Review: I purchased a vehicle (dodge dart 2013) on 1/**/2013. I had the first oil change with Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealer on April **, 2013. On April **, 2013 as I was driving on the highway with my wife and daughter the car suddenly stopped. I towed the car to Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge at 11:00am. At about 2:00pm they told me that the car had an electrical problem and that they would try to fix it. At about 4:30pm they returned to me that they could not fix it on that day until monday april **, 2013. I requested for a rental car in which they denied me and asked me to call the manufacturer, in which I did. The manufacturer intervened and the dealership finally gave me a car at about 6:00pm. I am afraid to drive this new car of only four months with an electrical problem that could not be fixed within a day.Desired Settlement: I want to exchange this car with another car of the same make / model.

If they would like to get another car they would have to go thru chrysler. The new car lemon law would help them. In their owners manual packet all the info would be there.

Review: On January **, 2013 I went to East Chester Chrysler Jeep Dodge to purchase a jeep Wrangler and I was referred to a Salesman named [redacted] whom requested a $100 deposit on the vehicle . The jeep that I like was a CPO ( Certified pre-owned) 2012 jeep wangler with nearly 10,000 miles of which I gave [redacted] that $100 dollar-depsit, and he gave me a receipt . Review: I purchased a 2010 Lincoln MKX on April **, 2013. The car only I had 1 key. At that time I inquired about the other key that should come with the vehicle. I stated to the sales person, [redacted] where is the other key, All the cars that I have bought have come with 2 keys. If you cannot get me another key then show me cars that already have 2 keys or I will go somewhere else. She told me and my daughter to hold on and she got up and went and talked to a gentleman up front, who I later found out that his name is [redacted]. When she came back she said that the key would be $350.00 and they would split half the cost with me and pay $175.00 and I would pay the other $175.00. As of this date, May **, 2013 I still do not have the key. I have been back to the dealership now 3 times to get the run around. My daughter has had to take 3 days off from her job because supposedly the key can only be made on a weekday. When my daughter and I got to the dealership this morning she went in and was once again told that the key was not there. [redacted] gave her the check to go and get the made at the other dealership ourselves. The check is for $182.00. This is not the $350.00 that was quoted to us on April **, 2013. So, obviously that price was an outright lie and bad business. For the over $30,000.00 that I paid for this car I cannot believe they would lie about something so petty as a $350.00 key.Desired Settlement: I would like my $175.00 refunded for the lie that they told. Beacause I would not have purchased th vehicle otherwise.

Review: Defective Car: On Friday May [redacted], we purchased a 2010 Certified pre-owned car with a clean carfax from this dealer and minutes after driving the car off of the lot (on our way home) the check engine light came on, the engine became loud and driving/acceleration became very sluggish as if the car was struggling to accelerate and move. We contacted them immediately about the issues; brought the car back to the dealer the following day and after waiting there several hours the dealer advised that they did not check cars on Saturdays and that we would need to bring the car in on a weekday. We brought the car in to be checked on Tuesday the [redacted]; I arrived with the car when the dealership opened. I advised the dealership that the car had only been purchased on Friday and I have no other means of transportation, that I have a child in school to pick up, and I was missing a days pay at work to bring this car in. I waited in the dealership for several hours without receiving an answer. At around 1:30pm, after waiting there since 9am with my 3 yr old restless twins, I advised [redacted](who I believe to be the GM) that I needed assistance with transportation to pick up my child from school because school dismissal was within the hour. [redacted] advised me that they had completed the diagnostics and would give me the car back, he said that they had determined everything that was wrong with the car and that I would need to go to the service area to make an appointment to bring the car back for repair. When I went to the service area, I made the appointment and asked [redacted] (service representative/manager) to provide me with a printed copy of the diagnosis showing what work they planned to do. [redacted] advised me that he could not provide a with a copy of the diagnosis because they had not completed the diagnostics on the car and that they stopped the process. I told him that [redacted] that [redacted] told me the diagnostic was complete and asked him to help me understand which story was true. I advised that after waiting there all day, that I need some type of documentation showing what problems they found. After some back and forth between [redacted] and myself I was provided with a copy of the diagnosis which indicated faulty engine and transmission parts and need for tire balancing. After seeking the opinion of another mechanic however there appear to be many more issues with this car that have not been disclosed to us by the dealer. Having discovered the problems on the day we purchased, and with 3 small children, work and being a family on a budget we literally cannot afford the back and forth of sorting this out. With the extensive issues that this car has it was an unfair sales tactic for this dealer to sell the car. Noone should have to spend hours in the service department of a dealer just a day after purchasing a certified pre-owned vehicle with a clean carfax. The check engine light continues to come on and off and there are clearly issues with this car that interfere with the value and safety of the car. Misleading Sales Practices and Coercion: We arrived at this dealership with our own financing with Capital One. The sales person, after reviewing our financing, persuaded us to apply for financing through the dealer financing dept promising that his financing department could beat our rate by at least 2-4%. When we met with the financing representative and sales person he led us to believe that he had contacted our financing company and that since the purchase price of the car was higher, that they had flat out declined our loan at the new amount. After giving us a speech about the difficulties of our credit, that the financing we had with Capital One was no longer approved because we were looking to borrow about 4K more. He then advised that, after hard, he was able to get us a approved with his dealer financing company. In reliance on his story that we had been declined by our own financing company for the new amount, we moved forward with the sale using the dealer's financing company. After learning that there was something defective with the car, I decided to inquire with Capital One to find out 1. if any such contact had been made by the dealer and 2. if the new loan amount had been declined. I learned from Capitalon One that the dealer never contacted them and that they did not decline the increased amount that we would've been approved for the car and the financing deal would've been better.Desired Settlement: Unravel the deal or replace the car.

Review: I purchased a power train warranty on 12/**/2013 paying 3,500. the warranty was for 6 years or 80,000 whichever one it hit first from time f purchase. after I signed the paperwork with the correct date the person that did the contract scratched off the date and put the date of 01/**/2008 which is the date of when the car was first registered as a car on the rode. I was not aware that they did that and when I went to get the car serviced I was told that the warranty expired in 12/2014. The sales associates at this dealership basically sold me a warranty and after I signed changed the paperwork without my knowledge. so basically they stated to me that I signed to have a warranty for less than a year and that I agreed to start the warranty from 2008 when brought the car in 2013.Desired Settlement: I would like the original warranty that I brought or I want my 3,500 dollars back.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Eastchester chrysler jeep dodge regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: Good morning Revdex.com. I had purchased a 2011 Certified Pre-Owned Jeep Cherokee on 7/*/2014, from the [redacted], located at [redacted]. I had not received any paperwork to confirm if the 125-point inspection was conducted on this vehicle that I had purchase, prior to it being sold to me. I began to question this matter after shortly after 7/**/2014. Prior to that date, I had been hearing some clunking sounds as well as clicking sounds in the steering wheel when it would be turned a few days after the vehicle was sold to me. I was made an appointment by the [redacted] about a week prior to 7/**/14, for the brake booster recall replacement and any other issues that I started to experience with the vehicle, who called me the week of 7/*/2014. I also received a call from [redacted] prior to my visit to the service department on 7/**/2014. I was told on 7/**/14 by the service department personnel, after their assessment, that my front struts are worn out and needed to be replaced. I was also advised on 7/**/2014, by the service department that the struts are on back order and they will have me come in for an appointment once the parts come in. I now have on 8/*/14 to replace the front worn out struts made by the service department. When I got home after logging on the the Certified Pre-owned Jeep site, it spelled out the stringent certification process that their pre-owned vehicles go through prior to being sold to the customer. Under #90 of the Stringent 125-point inspection, speaks about stocks and struts being in good condition. So I begin to wonder, why my struts were worn out if it was supposed to had been addressed during the 125-point inspection, prior to being sold. Now I am begining have additional issues with vehicle with various sounds that does not sound right. I am now led me to believe that this 125-point inspection was not completed or even done. My calls and emails to the dealership begin shortly after 7/**/2014, in which I have been given the "run around", asking if this 125-point inspection has been completed on this vehicle sold to me less than 3 weeks ago. I had also call the Jeep Customer Service Headquarters, beginnning on 7/**/2014 for some resolve and mediation, in which they are also given the run around by the dealership, stating that the inspection was done, with no paperwork produced confirming this matter. I had been calling back and forth since 7/**/2014 just to continue to be stalled for the 125-point inspection that has probably not been completed. Instead of the dealership being honest and just stating that they had failure to conduct the 125 point inspection prior to sell, they just continue to stall me and state, "we'll call you back".Desired Settlement: I would like for the dealership to be held accountable for their actions in this matter. I would like for the dealership to be honest and admit if they did not conduct a 125-point inspection prior to selling this vehicle to me as a Certified Pre-Owned. If this is the case, I would like a full 125-point inspection, with all repairs needed, that should had been conducted on my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle, as advertised by the sales department, prior to sale. I would also like a price reduction on this vehicle, as the result, based on the advertisement of the vehicle being viewed was a certified pre-owned 2011. This entire experience has and is still very stressful for me as a customer. PLEASE HELPME Revdex.com. Thank you in advance.

Response:

We provided a copy of the 125 point inspection sheet. We then reinspected the 2011 Grand Cherokee to make sure that nothing was overlooked. There were some parts that were ordered. We have taken care of her concerns.

Thanks [redacted]

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Good Afternoon Revdex.com. Although I was eventually furnished with copy of the 125-point inspection sheet on 8/*/2014, I was not aware that my Jeep was re-inspected as stated in the business response. I would like to be furnished with a copy of the re-inspection that took place as stated by the business, and what specifically was inspected and what kind of inspection was conducted. I would also like to receive confirmation that my front struts where actually replaced with new ones. Furthermore, my back struts remain on back order as per the dealership. My Jeep also was not Detailed as it should had been when I purchased it for pick up as it was suppose to be. I am scheduled to bring it in on 8/**/2014 to the dealership and hopefully it is done this time around. So in response to the this inquiry, I still need my concerns addressed to my satisfication. Thank you in advance for assisting me these concerns Answer Here]

At this time, I have been contacted directly by B&Z Auto Enterprises, LLC regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They continue to reschedule me for my dealership appts. as they claim there are too many cars currently in the service department. I have not received any communiation regarding status of the order of my back struts, that I had been waiting for over a month now. I brought my Jeep in on august *, 2014 and picked it up on august **,2014 with issues still not repaired. My compliants still have not been resolved. I had purchased this Jeep on 7/*/2014 and it is now 9/*/2014 and it has been a less than pleasant experience at this dealership. Please help me gain some resolve in holding this dealership accountable for the repairs. Thank you in advance.[Your Answer Here]

Review: I purchased a vehicle from Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge on November **, 2014. Less than 24 hours later my car did not want to start. I contacted my sales rep Randy and he stated to bring the car in the next day because of the hoilday (thanksgiving) they were closed. Once I brought the car in they just changed the battery, I knew it wasnt a battery issue because all the lights in the car worked as well as the horn but they reassured me that my car was going to be ok. Shortly after that I had the same exact problem again I took the car in to the repair shop at 7:30am they just hooked it up to the computer and then called me towards the end of the day and said the computer brought up no errors. Shortly after that I had the same problem again they said it was a starter issue so they changed that. Again same issue took it in to the shop they said that it may be the fuel pump that before they change it they need approval from the manufactor, they kept the car for 14 days to change a fuel pump. I received my car back the ** of January and on the [redacted] of January I had to take it back again for the same issue and now a new problem. My car did not want to go any faster than 20 miles an hour so when I went back to the company I spoke to the ** who refused to give me my money back. The total purchased I made for the car with taxes and all was a little over 11,000. They were only willing to give me 8,000 for it and the rest would have to go into the new loan that I would have to open in order to get a working car. I test drove a car and to me it sounded exactly how my car did and to be honest I was afraid to get into another car just be in the same mess I was in to start with. I have read reviews on [redacted] as well as [redacted] and many people have issues similar to mine. When I told them that I wasnt interested in any of their used cars, they suggested I could finance a new car and that it would be cheaper and better for me. Once we did the numbers my auto payments wouldve went up 200+ a month I realized that I would be in way over my head if I did what they suggested. I dont think that is a fair solution for me cause I can not afford something like that. I went in there purchasing a car that I can afford and a car that I thought was a working vehicle. I was completely wrong, im paying close to 600 a month for a car I dont have in my possession. This has to be the worse company I have ever dealt with in my life.Desired Settlement: PLEASE I would just love a refund so that I may purchase a working vehicle from a better company who cares more about their customers than they do about making a sale. Scamming their customers to buy non functional cars that have the customer come back spending more money or have the customer come back for multiple repairs and no sign of any resolution.

Response:

The recall was for structural reinforcement of the rear.

Review: I purchased a 2010 Dodge Journey from this company in July of 2013. After 3 days of sitting in the dealership for over 8 hrs each time trying to get financing together I finally was given the Dodge journey. My sales rep was [redacted]. I was told by [redacted] that I was getting a Dodge caravan but then he said it was badly damaged in the engine and that the Dodge Journey was better since I have a family with small kids. I accepted the vehicle and went about my business. Less than a month later the car wouldn't start and I was told to bring it to the dealership. When I arrived I was told that I have a Guaranteed used vehicle with a warranty that covers up to 100,000 miles. I was only at 73,000 miles so I was relieved that they would cover the work. I was then given a bill for over 1500.00 and told it was something that wasn't covered. I felt helpless as a woman with no car experience. after paying for the issues I was certain the car was good and that going forward normal maintenance would keep it running well. Its now June 2014 and the car has so many issues its too much to type. Mind you, I owe 17,000 on a car that was just appraised by them at 7,000!! This is unfair!! I feel helpless! I am stuck paying more than double for a car that I cant even use.Desired Settlement: I would like a fair deal here. If I am going to pay for a vehicle for the next 5yrs at least let it be a running vehicle! I want them to switch my vehicle out for a reliable running vehicle for my family size. HELP ME PLEASE!!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becaus

I have gone to the location spoke with [redacted] and [redacted] in the service department and still told I would be billed for more repairs totaling 1100.00. I have voluntarily surrendered the vehicle to the bank. I could not afford to keep a car that I cannot drive nor afford to fix.

I only gave the car back because it was not driveable and I couldn't afford to have the Nyc Department of Traffic end up towing my broken vehicle. You guys are crooks and I came there along with my husband before returning the car only to be told there was nothing that could be done. I will never rest until you guys are out of business. Its a shame that you can sell vehicles that are so poor that they should not be on the road. Unless you are willing to pay my remaining balance with the finance company, I will haunt you with in the line of the Law! I plan to take to social media as well as call all the media stations in our area until everyone knows what crooks you are! You can be as nice as you want to be on the phone and on this but when I came there and spoke to [redacted], as well are your former employees [redacted] and [redacted] I was told to pay more money or go home with my broken smoking vehicle! and when I told you I was going to get a lawyer you told me to leave.

Response:

You purchased 2010 Journey in June of 2013 with 70,238 miles on it. You have it for over a year and you put over 23000 miles in a year. Since August of 2013 till June 2014 the Journey was never brought into our shop for any maintenance at all or problems. In that time you put 16000 miles on your Journey with zero problems. So I'm really trying to understand your statement. Eastchester has no idea what maintenance was done in that time frame. Ten months you never came in. If you are so unhappy I would speak to Chrysler Corporation. Eastchester Chrysler Jeep didn't do anything wrong.
