Review: I purchase a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup on Saturday September **, 2013. I pointed out some issues with the vehicle that they will have to fix before I purchase it. They agreed to fix the issues if I purchase it and proceeded to tell me to take home and drive it around to see if there are any other problems with the truck and bring it back to fix all the problems I discovered. I returned the truck Monday September **,2013 with a list of problems also informing them that there appears to be water damage issued and that they sold me a water damage truck. The told me they don't sell water damage vehicles and the corrosion I informed them about was not due to water. They agreed to repair the problems I discovered. To this day the truck have not been fully repaired and they never contact me. I am the one that have to be calling every week to find out the status of the truck.Desired Settlement: Either repair the truck fully in a timely manner or issue a full refund.

Response:

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. They appears to have done a good job with the repairs.

Sincerely,

Review: I took my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for service with 30,269 miles, the hood and the inside of the dashboard would get really hot, and scorch marks visible on the hood. The truck was in the service shop for one month and came back with the existing problem and more. The truck came back with the entire front end repainted, the hubcap changed, and water keeps coming in through the seal next to the door. The manager had asked if he could take the truck overnight which I said "No", but the mileage was added on anyway. I have been trying to resolve this matter with Eastchester Chrysler, I have left several messages, called the General Manager [redacted], the new Manager of the service area [redacted] who promised to investigate and get back to me. I have been calling since and leaving messages but to no avail. Please help in resolving this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like for Eastchester Chrysler to either fixed the problem on the jeep or replace the vehicle.

Review: I purchased a brand new 2013 Dodge Dart from this dealership. Two weeks after it's purchase the transmission light began to flash. I took the vehicle to be serviced on June **, 2013. They told me that the car was in good condition. But after I left the dealership the transmission went out. I had to get towed back s to the dealership. Once there they failed to provide me with a rental car and the s.ervice was horrible. They stood there and watched me go through my sorrow

Business

Response:

I spoke to [redacted] and her car is ready to be picked up. There was a rental car available for her at all times.

Thanks

Review: I purchased a service contract when I purchased the car, I have taken the car back to be serviced on several occasions. No matter what I take the car back for the problem is not covered under the service contract. Recently I had a problem with the car which caused me to need to be towed to the dealer as per the contract they would pay the first $100.00 and I would be responsible for the balance I was about a mile away from the dealer when I called to be towed I was told that the price for towing would be $187.00 , I was told that it would take 5 hrs to be picked up, so I called a company to expedite the pick up the total cost was $87.00. This to me is a blatant attempt to pass the total expense for the tow to me. I was then told that the problem with the car, once again was not covered, I then asked to be given the parts that were changed in an attempt to verify the parts that were replaced on the vehicle. This request was denied for reasons beyond my understanding. I was charged an excess of $800.00 there needs to be an investigation done. The cost of the contract was over $2900.00.Desired Settlement: Investigation into the fraudulent practices of this dealership in regards to service contracts

Business

Response:

The service contract [redacted] purchased does not cover the repair of the ignition key with [redacted] that as requested. The dealership cannot be held responsible for [redacted] claim.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate contact me.

At this time, I have not been contacted by B&Z Auto Enterprises, LLC regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: I recently purchased a certified used 2010 Jeep Compass vehicle with Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge located at [redacted].They claimed the vehicle passed 21 point safety inspection and is covered under their warranty up to 18,000 miles. However in less than 3 days I started hearing noises from the wheel when I'm driving so I took it back to them for inspection and they told me they have no mechanic on the premises to inspect it. One of the salesman mentions to me that there is nothing wrong with and it's just a normal sound. Less than three days later, I was driving on the [redacted] and the rear axle that holds the tires and other components together broke and I almost lost my life. The car has been towed to them but they don't want to take responsibility for their negligent action. There is no way a 21 safety inspection was performed on that car and it miraculously passed inspection. For anyone reading this complaint out there, do not put your loved ones lives in these people's hand by buying a vehicle from them. I am still vividly shaken by this incident. I will be also writing to the Attorney General office and contacting all the local news channels to warn people.Desired Settlement: Cancel the deal and have them keep their vehicle or replace it with a vehicle that is sound and safe and truly passed the 21 points safety inspection.

Business

Response:

We canceled her deal. Thanks [redacted]Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge

Review: I have been repeatedly harassed by the Pre-Owned Vehicles division, receiving multiple phone calls asking me to contact them regarding selling my car, which I never expressed interest now or in the future of doing. I have asked repeatedly for my name to be removed from whatever list it's on, yet continue to get harrassing calls asking me to sell my car. This has been going on for months and must stop.Desired Settlement: I don't want to ever receive another phone call from Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge again. Ever.

Response:

Phone # was removed. Please contact me if it continues.

Review: I took my car to be serviced in late July because the check engine light was on, and I needed my inspection updated. I told the service attendant I wanted a diagnostic of the car to find out all the problems. A few days later the rep called and told me the issues, and said the car need front end work. I told him I wanted a copy of the diagnostic (never received), and I just needed the major parts repaired in order to pass the inspection . I gave him authorization to order the parts needed and he gave me the price (600$). When I went back to pick up my vehicle the check engine light was still on, but I was told that the computers in the car needed to reset. The rep told me to drive the car for a couple days and after the system resets, I can come back and get my inspection sticker. Three days after driving the car the check engine light went off, but on the forth day it came back on. I took the car back to the dealer and I was told I had to get another diagnostic (pay for) and they would contact me. Two days later I got a call and they gave me a whole new set of problems with the car. Which wasn't reported in the first diagnostic. I told the new rep that I was assigned to that I just need the part fixed that we're enabling me from passing inspection. I also asked for a copy of the new diagnostic(never received). I gave the rep authorization again to order the new parts and he gave me a price of 1000$ for the job to be completed. A week goes by and I didn't receive any calls, emails, or any messages from the dealership so I called to find out about the car. I was told that the rep I was working with no longer works there and I would be reassigned to someone. I asked to speak to the [redacted] and he didn't have any information or explanation as to why my car hasn't been worked on in all this time, or why I wasn't notified of any delays. Then I was given a new price of 1500$ for the same service. Today is September [redacted] 2014 and this dealership has had my car for over a month. No work has been done on it. I haven't received any calls or updates from my rep. Every time I call I get the run around. No one in the offices know what's going on, and can't give me a proper date as to when I am getting my car back. When I do talk to my rep he promises to call me and update me and never does. The workers are all unprofessional and I'm disgusted, and I still don't know how the car will be running when I get it.Desired Settlement: I want a major reduction on my bill and I also want to be reimbursed for the month I payed my car insurance and didn't have my vehicle.

Review: I purchased a 2011 Dodge Durango from this company in July of 2011. Less than 2 years later I began to have issues with the vehicle not starting. I had my vehicle towed to this company for service and my real problems began. I had to have the vehicle towed back to this location a total of 7 times because they kept telling me the issue was fixed and it was not! They ordered fuel pumps and antennas, etc and I had to pay a copayment (they originally wanted me to pay the entire cost of $2000 but their corporate office agreed on $400 co-pay for my troubles). The car would not start the next morning, never failed. They weren't helpful at all until I involved Chrysler's corporate office! Finally, they decided to put me into a new vehicle, a 2013 Dodge Durango (on April [redacted]). I met the owner, [redacted] (who assisted in selling me my 2008 Jeep Liberty at his other dealership). The owner told me if I had ANY problems moving forward to call him directly. Nonetheless, literally 30 days later (5/**/13) my engine light came on and the vehicle's auto-start would not work. I've left 6 messages for [redacted] (the GM) - to no avail. They have told the sales rep and the receptionist that they cannot help me. My vehicle has been at their service station since May [redacted] and they have no idea what's wrong with it! They claim to be waiting on a... FUEL PUMP! Again, really, the same problem as the 2011 Durango that was NEVER fixed! The service manager ([redacted]) and the service rep ([redacted]) do not return calls, are not reliable, and have not been consistent with their information. I DON"T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I can't keep taking off from work to go there and get the run around! There's no reason why a brand new vehicle would be having engine trouble after 30 days on the road. To top it off, I had to DEMAND a loaner (which turned out to be a rental that I had to leave a $300 deposit on). Then, they give me a Patriot that's FILTHY, rundown, small and had an empty tank!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE! Then, after I realized they would have my vehicle for more than a week, I ask for a different car. The service mgr ([redacted]) tells me to come and pick it up on Friday, 5/**. I tell him Monday works better for me and he said no problem. I call a service rep ([redacted]) Monday morning to let him know we are on our way and [redacted] said the new rental will be ready last Friday. [redacted] says ok. My husband arrives 3 hours later to pick it up, and it's not ready! It's not clean, they need to fix a tire, etc. My husband waited for the rental for 2 hours!!!!! Nobody has time for that!!!!! Very unprofessional. So now, when I call, my calls are placed directly into voicemail (they must have caller ID). I have no idea when and if I will ever get my car back. And frankly, I don't want the problem.Desired Settlement: I would like for [redacted] and [redacted] to contact me asap. I would like a refund on this lemon immediately!

Review: I purchased a pre-owned Mercedes Benz ML350 on 12/**/2013. I was given a mechanical failure service contract for 1 year 12,000 miles. The coverage selected was only for power train and the cost of the warrenty was $3,000.00. When I went home I had reviewed the contact with my husband and was told that that was way to much money and to cancel the contract and go with another service contract. I contacted Carefree Car protection and they stated that I could cancel the policy at any time but the dealer is responsible to refund the money back into the purchase price. I was working with one of the finance mang named [redacted] and was told false information. I was told the reason for approval on the loan was because I purchsed the contract to begin with and that I would have to wait several months before I could even consider cancel the contract. I called the Carefree Car Protection and was told I could cancel at anytime. Since then I have be attempting to call and leave several messages with the dealer and have gotten no where.Desired Settlement: I do not want this service contract and I would like the money put back into the purchase price so I can get AFFORDABLE extended warrenty.

Review: On Saturday July [redacted] 2014, I went to the Eastchester Chrysler Jeep and Dodge on [redacted] for a 2014 Dodge Durango R/T. I was told that the vehicle is available, however that the owners wife is driving it as a demo. The [redacted] was adamant that they were able to sell the vehicle. On Monday I called the dealer to see if everything was ok and they said yes all is good to go. On Tuesday I was given a call from the dealer with all the information on the monthly price and down payment information. I had scheduled to purchase the car on Wednesday July [redacted]. On Tuesday July **, 2014 I get a call from the car salesman [redacted] stating that the owners wife does not want to get out of the vehicle. I then recieved a call fromt the [redacted] stating that he will look for another vehicle for me. Not five minutes go by and I recieve a call from the account manager, trying to intimidate me, stating that he will not sell me the car for the price originally negotiated eventhough they are not supposed to negotiate it because I was issued an employee purchase control number for a family members. The bottom line was that they did not want to honor the employee purchase program and instead of being honest they lied and try to use intimidation to discourage me from purchasing the vehicle.Desired Settlement: I would like them to honor the employee purchase program that chrysler has for the family members of its employees and to sell me the vehicle I went to purchase.

Do you have a copy of the program rules? Because it clearly states

Review: I went to this repair shop to determine why underneath my car I can hear brakes squealing when I apply pressure. supposedly they found a right rear shock leaking on march 2013 and it was supposedly replaced. before that I paid 529.33 for rear brake service on march ** 2013 which gives me 6 months since I had that service done. im well under the warranty for anything defective in that service. 6 months later which is now september 2013, the squealing assumes again when I apply brakes. I bought both paper work in to show them I paid 529.33 in march and that the right rear shock that was found leaking on the paperwork itself says the LEFT ONE REAR was replaced. which I noticed that on sept ** 2013 I have paperwork with me that states right rear shock found leaking and it also states that the left one was replaced. so I went today september ** 2013 and as I explained why im there, I pointed out that the right rear shock was faulty and that the left one as it states on paperwork was replaced. I guess I was punished for bringing up that info so I waited 5 and a half hours for someone to see the car. as I asked why does it take so long for the mechanic to see my car the mech. told no one has yet seen the car. the service manager told me someone did and found a pepple but the mech. that was supposed to work on car has not serviced car yet. I was lied to and made wait 5.5 hours so I asked for my car and left.Desired Settlement: just wanted to resolve why my brakes are still squealing 6 months later and did the right shock get replaced. I was lied to because I showed paperwork that I had brakes pads rotors replaced on march 2013 and it should be honored and I have paperwork that states right rear shock is faulty but that the LEFT REAR shock was replaced. after I waited 4 hours I talked to service manager about my car and he said a lil pepple was found. when I saw the mech. about to get in car, he said he never found anything cause he never serviced car he was about to at 12pm 5 hours later then I waited a half hour more my car was still in same parking spot as in the morn 730 pm

complaint ID [redacted], I fixed my issues on my own I had to go to another dealer (jeep chrysler) in yonkers to resolve this matter. they said if I had receipt on hand, they will honor it. they did. I just didn't appreciate the 5 .5 hours I waited and I was not seen at said place where I paid over 500 dollars.this is the 3rd issue I had there before I finally put in this complaint. I understand I didn't purchase car there but I did try twice. so it looks like because I didn't buy car from there im blacklisted and have to wait more than the persons that come after me. they also state on their ads, no matter where u bought car, we will service it. its a jeep truck and they are a jeep dealership. I resovled the issues myself.

Review: On June ** 2014, I take my car to Eastchester dodge because of a humming noise I heard while driving. The sale rep who I dealt with name [redacted](whom when I went back to complain no longer works for this dealership)told me the problems were a left front hub bearing, alternator, and leak detection pump. I only had Chrysler do the hub bearing. I since purchased an alternator myself payed someone to put it in to find out that's not the problem. I then purchased an ac compressor which took care of my problem. I am looking for a refund of 416.27 from Eastchester Chrysler for charging me for work that didn't have anything to do with my problem of the humming noise.Desired Settlement: I am request a refund from Eastchester chrysler

Review: I brought a brand new Jeep Wrangler unlimited 45 days ago. I bought the vehicle on Monday and it lost power on the highway while I was approaching the toll booth on Wednesday morning 5:00 am while I was going to work. I had the vehicle towed to the dealership in which it took over a week for the dealer to tell me that the issue was bad gas. However, during the week wait I was told that there was a TIMP, loose wire, low power, transmission leak and pump issues. I protested the bad gas results and had the gas tested, which the result was that the gas was good. The same weekend I got the vehicle back it stalled a few days later. Again, I brought the vehicle back to the dealer and again it took a week for them to tell me that all they did was charge the battery because the power was low. When I went to the dealer to pick up the vehicle it stalled in front of the service manager but I took it anyway because I was told by [redacted] to take the vehicle. I also observed that the vehicle was sluggish during start up and did not shift gear and stalled again. When I brought it back I was finally got the print out showing that the transmission was removed for a leak issue and they changed the Power Integrated Module and gas pump. The last time I took the vehicle back I was told they did not find anything wrong with it. Now the vehicle wont stay in cruise control. I live in [redacted] and work in [redacted] and need a reliable vehicle to drive over a hundred miles to work. No one wants to take responsibility to change the vehicle but I have to pay for a defective vehicle. They offered a trade in that I would lose almost $6000 in depreciation cost and I was offered only $2500 to compensate. I had the vehicle appraised at the dealership and the value was $29000 and I brought the vehicle for $35K. both [redacted] and the dealer have consistently lied to us and no one wants to take responsibility or resolve the issue. The vehicle has an intermittent problem and they dont want to admit that they cant fix the issue.Desired Settlement: Buy back the vehicle so I can get another Jeep.

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by B&Z Auto Enterprises, LLC regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The complaint has not been resolved because the dealership is waiting on [redacted] to send a Goodwill Package with the terms of the new offer. So far I have selected a new vehicle but the terms of the package offered will determine how much is the new monthly payment. I anticipate that we are close to a deal but I need to know how much my monthly payment difference will be because that is my measure of whether or not the deal is fair. I'm looking forward to resolving this issue so I can move on with my life because this has caused me a lot of stress.

Review: I've purchased a used vehicle from Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge on January **, 2013. This is a vehicle that I was assured was certified. Within the first month, I have had to return the vehicle at least two times for servicing. To date, I have had consistent problems with this vehicle and am continuously spending money to keep this vehicle on the road. Problems such as a leaking valve, leaking sunroof, suspension problems, faulty alternator, having to replace tires(I was informed by a Chrysler service person that the ones that came with the vehicle would not pass inspection unless changed), also having to replace brakes and rotors. I've had the car completely shut down on me countless times. Right now, the vehicle is experiencing "Electrical Problems" as I've been advised. It would be less stressful if I had some compliance from Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge, but each time I've either brought the vehicle in or have called about something regarding one or more of these situations, neither of the individuals I spoke to wanted to take any responsibility, implying that it is now my responsibility.Desired Settlement: For the money I've spent purchasing and for repairs on this vehicle, I should have all problems taken care of by the dealership. Or given a replacement vehicle equal and worthy of the cash value I paid for this vehicle with no problems.

Review: My wife and I purched a car for our daughter from Eastchester Crylser Jeep Dodge, also known as B&Z Auto Entreprises, LLC on 11/**/13. The car is now having transmission problems not even a year into owning it. The dealership is refusing to address the issue. They (the dealership) has told me that the transmission is not under warranty when I have written documentation from the dealership that the car is a certified pre-owned vehicle. This gives the car a 7 year or 100,000 mile warenty on the powerterain system as per their certified pre-owned booklet downloaded from their websight. They now have my car and have yet to inform my wife or myself whether or not they will be fixing the car and if so, where we can recieve the rental car that is to be provided to my daughter while fixing our daughters car. They have had my daughters car since 10/**/14 and ahve yet to return any phone calls we have leff them.Desired Settlement: we want the issue that repaired.

Review: On June **,2013 I went to Eastchester Jeep to inquire about leasing a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I worked with [redacted]. He seen like a good honest salesman. We agreed on a deal, then I was introduced to [redacted] the Manager. I give them a $500.00 deposit on my credit card to confirm the deal and to secure delivery of the vehicle on Friday June ** 2013. I explain to them that I live far and I also work overnight and to please contact me if there was any issues cause I was going to take off from work and would have to ask someone for a ride. On Thursday I called [redacted] to confirm about Friday, he never returned my call. I called him Friday same thing. So on Monday I called him and left him a message and told him forget about the deal cause they couldn't have the courtesy to call me or keep there word on delivery I also lost a day of work. Finally Thursday I get a hold of [redacted], he told me I had to come in to refund my credit card which I know they could do without the credit card. I told him no problem. On Sat June **,2013 I drive 35 miles to the dealer and meet [redacted] he greeted me and said sorry we couldn't make a deal. I said no problem. Then he ask for my credit card and went to [redacted] the manager. I waited 2hrs, then [redacted] comes back and tells me it has to be Monday. I said no way I just drove 35 miles and wasted 2hrs. He told me to talk to [redacted]. I walked over to [redacted] and told him to refund my credit card and give me my card. He was arrogant and didn't care. I told him they are the ones who couldn't keep there word. He proceed to get confrontational. I told him nobody called me Thursday or Friday and he said so. I told him this is why you are rated an F on Revdex.com and you have no knowledge of customer service. When I told him give me my credit card they claim they didn't have it. I walked out and call the credit card company and cancelled the card. [redacted] is a very arrogant and a shady and corrupt manager. He should be fired. I also plan to file a complain with Consumer affairs and take [redacted] to court. I have excellent credit, my salary is 6 digits and have enough cash in the bank to buy the vehicle cash if I chose. This dealer should be fined. Well I sat in my car outside the dealership calling the credit card company, I saw [redacted] smoking and talking to another employee he was complaining to the other employer about how bad [redacted] handle the whole situation.Desired Settlement: Refund my money and fire [redacted]. This man should not be dealing with the public. He's probably the reason why the dealer has an F rating.

Response:

I apologize for your bad experience. Your refund has been refunded. I did address the situation with [redacted]. You really should have been told credit card refunds are only done by the office during normal business hours. I agree it was handled very poorly.

if I can ever help you in the future don't hesitate to contact me

Review: Approximately 4 1/2 weeks ago, my husband dropped off our [redacted] Avenger to EastChester [redacted] after receiving a notice for a recall on the vehicle. We had started to have a problem with the heat as well so we brought that to the attention of the service department. We were instructed to leave the car and my husband was notified later that day that the head gasket on the car needed to be replaced and that the car would not be ready the same day. My husband lives 50 miles from the dealership and when he inquired about a loaner car, he was told they did not have one. When he complained that he would not have a car to get home, the dealership told him "We dont know what to tell you". I then traveled the 50 miles to the dealership to pick up my husband and for 3 days he had to find a way to work which is also 50 miles from home. No loaner was ever offered and no offer for a rental either. After speaking directly with [redacted] at [redacted] Corporation, we were told to rent a car and that [redacted] would cover that expense. When he contacted Enterprise Rent -A-Car at ###-###-####, the only car they had available was a Chevy Silverado truck at $75 per day. After many days of not hearing from the service department or Dodge, we placed numerous calls to find out about the repair to the car and was told that the parts were on backorder, then they were ordered, they had arrived but they wouldnt start working on the car until Monday (parts arrived on a Friday). When we contacted them the following week, we were told that the mechanic was out sick and then we had some snow and the service department was closed for a day, etc, etc....Needless to say, we spent the majority of two weeks trying to get someone to tell us what was going on with the car. We were given a case number at [redacted] Corp and started speaking to [redacted] at [redacted] (###-###-####). She was very helpful but was limited in helping us resolve this issue. After another week of trying to get an answer from the dealership, my husband and I now asked that the case be escalated to a supervisory department hoping to get answers. We were referred to [redacted] at [redacted] (###-###-####). After trying to get in touch with [redacted] for two days, we were told that she would contact the dealership to find out what was going on. At this point, my husband went directly to the dealership only to find the car in the back of the lot, untouched with the lights and radio on. He was told by [redacted] in the service department that while they were fixing the head gasket on the car (which is only a year old), they broke an internal engine bolt which now meant that the car needs a new motor. He could not give my husband a time frame for repair. I then called [redacted] again, to give her an update, and since she seemed surprised, this leads me to believe she could not get in touch with anyone at the dealership. It is now, Wednesday, March [redacted] (almost 5 weeks to the day it started) and I am no closer to getting a resolution to this problem than I was the day my husband dropped the car off. Needless to say, my husband and I are very frustrated with the fact that no resolution to this problem is even remotely close. The inattentiveness of [redacted] and the dealership is disappointing and maddening. We feel that we have no other recourse but to file this complaint and then seek legal action.Desired Settlement: At this point, my husband and I have decided that we do not want this vehicle back from Dodge. There have been numerous problems with it since it was dropped at the dealership and given the way they have handled the car, we do not trust that the proper repairs have or ever will be made. Therefore, we would like one of two things: a full refund for what we paid for the car (not what they are going to tell me its worth because that is unacceptable) or they can give us a new car of equal value of our choosing. In addition, the rental bill is to be paid in full. I will not pay for the rental and then wait for reimbursement given the way they have handled our case, I am sure we would never be reimbursed for the rental. I am sure that the rental bill is over $2,000 at this point and I cannot afford to pay that especially since I was told by [redacted] Corp that they would cover this expense since the dealership left us with nothing. If we receive anything less that that, we will seek further legal action.
