Mr [redacted] – your Revdex.com complaint has been forwarded to me for review and responseUnfortunately there seems to be some miscommunication from your point of view and notes recorded in our data system On 9/27/secondary member ( [redacted] ) called into Member Services and requested removal from the membership due to an impending divorceIt was explained to her that it was necessary for the Primary account holder ( [redacted] ) to remove members to the accountAs per CFF protocol, only the Primary can change, modify or cancel a membershipIn rare cases, the secondary (spouse) may do soAs such and due to the circumstances as noted by the spouse, it was felt that it was necessary for the Primary to cancel Three additional contacts to the Primary were made with no responseOn 12/7/17, a Member Services representative mentioned to Secondary (spouse) that the Primary needed to respond in order to change the membershipOn 12/7/17, Member Services received a response from you to cancel the membership Terms of Cancellation are noted on your contractAs noted do to the nature and circumstances regarding the membership, the CFF representatives followed proper protocol

I am rejecting this response because:First of all, my wife is honest and truthful and this is not what happened Her english is limited and so she was deceived and taken advantage of Mr [redacted] said that she could cancel her membership any time before the February And secondly, on February 10, why wasn't I immediately contacted about this by MrRichardson to get my consent and approval on this?--The reason being I would have understood and definitely said no to this contract membership I only first learned of this contact agreement on February after my wife went there to speak about the cancellation And also this doesn't explain the fact why the front desk girl said (and lied) that Mr [redacted] wasn't in that day and the truth being that he was indeed in his office? Please respond

I am rejecting this response because: I was given time till 11/because I had signes up at the end of sept 9/So how is a free month if I was going to cancel with in days 10/.And the staff ive talked to at the rocklin location gym saidI had days which was 10/not 10/Im going with sales person who signed me up initially which is 11/2And I was there on 10/to cancel and I was denied and sent saying it was too late and I have to pay cancellation fee.So its not my fault I was sent back within the dates even though they are confusing me with dates

Unfortunately based on our company guest pass policy to use the free month pass you cannot be a former member or previous guest pass userThe club was following protocol when they told you that you cannot use the passThe join for $offer and a free month is part of our conversion offer for potential new members to apply their guest pass to their new membershipThe join for $offer is for a full year membership and not for only month off access Based on the experience I am more than happy to extend out a week pass to try out our facilities again

I am rejecting this response because: Re: Rebuttal to communication from Cal Fitness The message sent by Cal Fitness is insufficient, as it does not speak to their lack of ethics in this matter, nor their apparent attempt to defraud by means of overcharge customers, as well as their failure to info of any refund restrictions/requirements PRIOR to acceptanceThe communication from Cal Fitness merely states: Your membership was cancelled as of 19- January, 2017” Nowhere does it address their culpability in continuing to charge AFTER the Days membership had concluded Nowhere does it specify that these charges of $were in error and will be expunged forthwith(The full charge of $was per-paid prior to the 30-day membership) Nowhere does it assure that this bogus situation will NOT be entered as a negative entry on a credit scoreAnd lastly Nowhere does Cal Fitness demonstrate ethical business behavior, integrity and customer service by tendering an apology for their role in this matter, as well as the time & effort I have had to expand to resolve this matter I would state that each of these points be met in order that this matter be fully and acceptably resolved With Appreciation for Your understanding & Cooperation, [redacted] ***
