Horrible to do business with. On August **, 2015 I purchased vouchers through Myrtle Beach Deal Savers to transferring my photos to canvas prints. I was supposed to upload my photos to the Canvas People Sweet Jack site to order the product.

They will not answer emails.

There is no number to contact them.

I tried the ###-###-#### number on the charge – they are just a collection agency

I checked with the Revdex.com and they have had 30 complaints in 3 years

[redacted] gives them a 1.69 rating out of 10.

Problem #1: I have tried a dozen times to do this and the site does not allow completion. I emailed the company through their “Help” link, and have NEVER received a reply.

Problem #2: The voucher says to click on [redacted]. and enter your code. Once you do that you cannot complete an order because their site is not working properly. The expand screen button in the upper left is not highlighted so the screen won’t expand.

Problem #3: The site says one of my vouchers has a “Error: voucher code” (voucher [redacted]) and can’t be used.

Problem #4: I was able, in one instance, to download my picture, but could not continue because there is NO scroll down on the right side of the screen to continue with an order. What you see in picture 5 is as far as the screen will expand and you cannot go to the next step. Pushing “Enter” does nothing.

Anyone who looks up this company before buying from them, will not purchase anything. I made the mistake of checking after the fact.

Review: I received a damaged canvas and alerted the company of the issues including multiple images of the damage. I received an email back that they were replacing the canvas and another had shipped, it was followed by a shipping confirmation. When I checked the delivery status the day it was to be here it had been delivered to another city 300+ miles away. I have contacted them multiple times since to have it corrected however they have yet to respond. I still don't have a usable canvas. The initial issue was with the item being damaged at shipping and now it has evolved to poor customer service.Desired Settlement: I just want a non damaged canvas and the business to correct the shipping mistake and reply to the customers.

Review: I purchased several art canvases from Canvas People over a month ago. I only received on canvas. I emailed their customer service department concerning the orders twice, and haven't received any response.Desired Settlement: I would still like to have the art canvases that I ordered!

In reviewing this complaint we have found that only three orders were placed by this customer. Two of these orders are currently on hold due to issues with the quality of the provided images, which was the customer was notified of in November via email. The emails that were sent in regard to these issues can sometimes be mistaken as spam/junk, which may be why the customer has not seen or received them.

We have one email from the customer to our company, on 12/**, which we have responded to as of this morning. Due to the high volume of inquiries and the holidays it is taking us slightly longer than usual to get back to our customers.

We are working to assist this customer in getting the two outstanding orders completed.

Review: This print was not a first canvas with this company(3 before), but the first canvas, where they printed their logo on the back of it. Without warning or a word on their site. When I called customer service (and it's really hard to reach someone, usually takes 2 days to someone calls back) and after 3 phone calls I was told that they just decided to print it there and they can do nothing about it. This person never told me about the possibility filled some form and request the refund. I found it on the site, filled their "canvas exchange/refund request" form but till today I never got an answer (it's been over 3 weeks).

I'm requesting my money back. Reason 1. they said they won't reprint it without logo 2. I need it it so I had to print it with someone else and this canvas is worthless to me now.

This is their refund policy and I'll be more that happy follow it if they'll provide their address (I didn't find it anywhere on the page):

Canvas Return Procedure: To return a canvas, please complete the return form and email it to [redacted]. CanvasPeople Customer Service will contact you with further instructions.

If CanvasPeople provides a replacement/refund you may be asked to provide a 3" x 5" piece cut out of the center of the canvas you received. Your replacement/refund will be provided once we receive your 3" x 5" piece cut out of the center of the canvas. If cut pieces are not from the center of the canvas or are not 3" x 5", refunds or replacements will not be issued.

If multiple canvases are to be returned, the cut pieces must both be 3" x 5" and from the center of the canvases.

Please note: All return or reprinting requests must be submitted through our return form.

Our phone staff is not authorized to process returns by phone.

And the second problem was with the shipping. They charge almost 20$ for Fedex and it took a week to get the canvas. As I found out, they production plant is in Illinois. Monday my canvas was in Romeoville, IL (23 miles away from my house), Tuesday and Wednesday in 2 different places in Wisconsin and I received it finally on Friday. I understand they don't have control over Fedex, but they could have options especially for local delivery.Desired Settlement: Upgrade their website and inform customers about the print from all sides

How I'm suppose to know that you did start print your logo on canvas when on my previous orders (3 separate orders) was NONE and there is no a single word on your website that you did start print logo there. Or an option print with/without logo in ordering menu.

I'm not complaining about quality of the canvas, that's ok, I'm complaining about the logo printed on it. So please stick to this subject. Thank you.

Review: I ordered a canvas from this company back on Aug. **, 2015 and they took my payment for the canvas on Aug. **, 2015. I went online on Sept. **, 2015 because I had not received my order and when I checked the status of the order it stated that there was a problem with my order, they emailed me to advise me of the issue but I never received the email.

I looked on their website some more and it instructed me to send them a new picture via email so that they could process the order.

I sent a new email with a new photo on Sept. **, 2015 and indicated that I would like to be notified that the picture was received and my order processed since they already took payment for my order. It stated that it would be a couple of days before I was notified.

As of Sept. **, 2015 I still have not indication as to whether my new photo will be accepted and processed or not. there is no contact phone number on their website to actually speak with someone.

I am not out money with no outcome and very upset that this has happened. The canvas I ordered was to be a gift for a friend and now I have no canvas and I am out money.Desired Settlement: This company should contact me to let me know my order has been processed and is on it's way to be delivered. If they can not fulfill my order than they need to refund me my money ASAP.

Review: I placed an order with this company (#[redacted]) for two canvases on 8/**/15. On 9/*/15 I received an e-mail stating that the canvases had shipped. On 9/**/15 the payment in the amount of $61.30 was debited from my account and I received one of the canvases. I waited a few days as they stated that the two shipped separately before contacting the company via email.On 9/**/15 I still had not received the second canvas so I sent an e-mail inquiring what was going on. I received an automated email back stating to please give them a few days to respond due to having some "issues with their new technology platform". I waited 10 days and never received any further response so on 9/**/15 I sent a second email again inquiring what was going on. As of 9/**/15 I have received no further response or my second canvas.Desired Settlement: I would like my second canvas delivered and reimbursement of the shipping charges since it has now been a month and I have not received my order which I paid for in full.

Review: I ordered 3 canvases, 2 8x10s and 1 11x14, they all were $5 each. Shipping was $14.95 each for the 8x10s and $18.95 for the 11x14. With tax my total was around $65. For some reason I had a feeling I should screenshot the checkout page but I didn't. I received an email with my order and it said it was charging $88.84! I immediately searched for a phone number to contact them...no such number or an email. So I sent an email. Never heard from anyone. I then went of their [redacted] and left a comment on one of their posts. I received a messaged from them on [redacted] asking for my order number and any questions I had and that someone from their customer service will be contacting me. Never heard from anyone! Yesterday I sent another [redacted] message saying that I still haven't heard from anyone. I received my canvases yesterday. Today I went to try to [redacted] message them again and it says that this person is not receiving messages from me at this time! So frustrating! If I would of known they didn't have an actual phone number for me to talk to someone I would of never ordered from them!Desired Settlement: I would like the difference in the order total refunded, should be a little over $20!!

I received an email from Canvas People on 9/**/15 saying I had a transaction refund of $24.99. I appreciate the refund but dislike the fact that I had to file a complaint an order to receive it. They need to have a contact person and someone to answer the phones besides an email address for communication, that they don't even respond to!Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: I ordered a "free" canvas. (just pay shipping) and it has been paid for (already taken out of my bank account), and they have cancelled my order and asked me to reorder it and pay $52+ more for it. I have emailed them and called them and they don't respond. I was hoping to have this for a Christmas gift, but it seems I may have picked the wrong business to get a canvas from. The customer service, if that is what you want to call it, is awful. You can not reach a real person. For the two numbers that I have found one is a busy signal and the other is a message telling you to leave your name, number, and email and they will get back to you. I have emailed them and I have left a message with them and I have not received anything. The only way to contact them that shows on the web page is by emailing them. Review: I requested a refund for a canvas that should never have left their building due to quality control issues. I filled out the forms and attached the images as requested on their website. After numerous emails requesting a refund Michael P[redacted]Customer Service) replied stating that they would be issuing me a check and I should receive it within 10-12 business days. I gave them that time, even accounted for a holiday, plus waited a few days longer but still did not receive my refund check. I then began emailing requesting a status update for my check, and have not received word. I emailed every day for a week and even went to their website to submit an additional ticket request and still have not heard back from them.Desired Settlement: Refund for canvas, including the shipping cost. Review: I ordered a canvas print of a picture on Sept [redacted], orders are suppose to be delivered within 10 to 12 days. Website does not list phone, only that you can email. I've emailed twice with no response. When I check the status of my order it says in processing. I went on [redacted] and found many people complaining about the same problem. No communication, no order fulfilled. They need to be stopped.Desired Settlement: Order was never processed, I would like a refund or the completed order. I have made several attempts to email them. They do not have anywhere on their webpage their phone number. I checked [redacted] as well and there are many people complaining. They need to be shut down.

Review: Extremely disappointed with Canvas People's Business ethics. My wife and I ordered a Canvas from this company and submitted the purchase. Once we realized an error was made with the pictures chosen we submitted a cancel request to change the images to the correct ones less than an hour after submission. They responded back that all sales were final and that the prints were already sent to the line for printing. However, no payment was processed so no way the prints were already made especially when it takes several weeks for the canvases to arrive. They also responded that we could resubmit the right photos but would still have to pay full cost. While I understand that each order is custom what I don't understand is how Canvas People cannot cancel an order before the payment is even processed. My wife sent several emails trying to cancel the request. I find it very hard to believe that CP cannot cancel the order in that time frame. There is 0 way that CP had the pictures printed on canvas in that amount of time without the transaction going through. It seems like a true cash grab on their and I find it appalling the only way to contact their company is through a messaging server. Speaks volumes of their business ethics and practices.Desired Settlement: Was happy at first to just change the images with the right one's but now would like a full refund for dealing with such a scam.

It is apparent that Canvas People do not value customer service.This is the standard response I have been sent multiple times and the same ** link to the return policy, but I find it hard to believe that their "high volume" amount of orders make it impossible to cancel a request an hour after it having it placed or before payment is even processed. What is even more frustrating is they continue to only respond via email and not having a direct number to speak with someone/manager. What it means is that Canvas People is only in it for the cash grab and could care less about their customer or quality as long as they get their cash. Their phone number is a fraud which doesn't connect and only further conveys that they try to hard behind their site instead of conducting quality customer service.

A phone is the most efficient method and would be a lot more efficient if your number ###-###-#### actually connected to someone or at least something. Don't try to make an excuse that your fastest approach is email when you are trying to hide behind being directly responsible for awful customer service. Review: I ordered an 8x10 canvas which never arrived! I worked diligently for 3 weeks trying to get someone to take responsibility or help between FedEx, USPS & CanvasPeople. I was home at the "time of delivery" and am almost all the time otherwise and no one knocked on the door or delivered anything to me (ever). The idea of paying for a product that never arrived is appalling and horrible business practice! The mail blames CP for their shipping practices and CP blames the delivery man, while no one cared about me. The biggest "apology" I got came from USPS for my trouble and they wished me luck, what a joke! DON'T TRUST THEIR SHIPPING METHODS and horrible customer service.Desired Settlement: I would prefer help in obtaining a $14.95 refund of my total purchase. I would accept a confirmed delivery of the canvas I purchased. I'd also be gratified if this information just helps someone else and Revdex.com information.

Review: I ordered there product on 9/*/15. It said it would only take 14 days to get to me. It is 9/**/15, and acordding to there website it is not even in production. Also on that day (i don't have a copy do to how there website is set up, probably on perpose) there was a speical buy 1 half off sec 70 per off and 3rd + 90 percent off. When it came to the final cost it said 64.(and some change) and they would send me a recite. My recite was e mailed to me and it had jumped to 164. (And some change). I immediately emailed them with the situation. No response. I have emailed many other times as well still no response. I have now filled fraudulent charges with my credit card company.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. I have not even received my product. They can keep it. They are not a good business and I want nothing to do with them. If they had a way for me to cancact them it would have been taken care of weeks ago., but from what I have read probably not. They should be in jail they are stealing, flase advertising, and charging fraudulent amounts on credit cards.

Review: On August [redacted] I ordered two prints. I received the first one, but was never notified that there was a problem with the second one. I have since email the company on September [redacted], [redacted], October [redacted], and [redacted], and have not received any response from them. I have sent emails from both my Yahoo address and through their contact system. I paid for two canvases and only received one, and therefore requested a refund for the other since it was not printed. Review: I ordered a canvas from this company. What I was asked to approve online that would be the final product as I would receive it, was not what I received. It is an 8x10 canvas and what I approved was a vertical version, what I received was a horizontal version cutting off faces in the picture. I have sent numerous emails to this company as well as pictures of what I approved online. I simply ended up asking for a refund of $15.99 as this was for a birthday gift and I now don't have time to send them another picture they keep telling me to send them. They are refusing the refund. Their customer service is horrible and clearly they are falsely advertising products approved online by consumers. Review: I placed an order on Sept [redacted]. My card was immediately charged $45.15.

After some time I never received an update. I checked the website and it stated that I needed to upload a higher resolution photo.

Fair Enough

I uploaded a 5k resolution photo with a resolution that could have been seen from space if printed out.

Some time later still no word.

I checked the website and it still said the same thing: I needed to upload a higher resolution photo.

Now, mind you, I've been emailing customer support trying to find out something.

They finally replied to my email stating they never received a higher resolution photo. I could literally see my photo as an attachment in their reply. It was the ridiculously high resolution photo (6000x3375 pixels) version.

I requested a refund and a few days later they emailed me back saying it could take some time. It is now November [redacted] and I still have not received my refund and they are not responding to my emails.

This is the worst service I have ever had to deal with. I don't know how this isn't considered theft.Desired Settlement: I just want my money ($45.15) back.
