Outrageous Fees and Interest
Cashnetusa is an example of what is wrong with America - Corporate GREED. For a $1000 loan that I took out in December, they have charged me over $700 in fees and interest. I have made three payments of over $250 since December 2020 and not one cent went towards my balance. I still owe $1008. This virus and pandemic has crushed many people’s lives. I am no different. Yet corporations like Cashnetusa don’t care. As long as it is money in their pockets, people like me don’t matter. I have reached out to customer service for answers, a solution and just help and understanding. I have received NOTHING. I was even told by customer service that my next payment will not be $250 but $300. This is a company that takes advantage of people who can least afford it. $700 in fees is obscene and heartbreaking. I cry every time I think about it. I will discourage anyone I can to NOT use this company. They don’t care about the American people. It’s just about the money they can put in their pockets.

I reached out to Customer Service with no results. The problem is that you have charged me over $700 worth of fees in three month on a $1000 loan. I have made 3 payments of $250 for three months and there was NO CHANGE in my balance. Customer Service also told me my payment will go up this month. How is this helping people during this difficult time? I isn't I want to see a reduction in my balance so I can pay this loan off. This is so difficult for me and extremely upsetting.

During this time when we are all suffering because of this pandemic, CashnetUSA has not compassion or understanding. People like me who are suffering financially yet you keep piling on the interest every day putting me deeper and deeper in a hole. You don’t care about suffering. I will Not EVER borrow money from this awful company! Yet is ridiculous the way you pile on the interest making it impossible for someone like me to catch up and pay down the debt. I took a cash advance for $1000 in December. Since then I have made three payments of over $250 and my balance is still $108. No money has gone to paying down the $1000. This is ridiculous. I will NEVER do business with CashnetUSA again as soon as I pay this money off. I am literally in tears about this. During this time people’s finances are strained, you don’t care. It is all about GREED. I wish I had never done business with you at all. I have been with Cashnet since 2009, yet you make no allowances. I will discourage anyone, as many people as I can, from using CashnetUSA. Shame on you! As I said, I am literally in tears about this. It is upsetting and depressing.

I had recently taken out a $loan thru cashnetUSA, and asked for a deferment on the paymentI was told under Florida State Law, I was entitled to a day Deferment if I dined and returned the Notice of Payment Delay form, in addition to notified them of a scheduled appointment with a state approved credit counselorI returned the notice of Delay form the next day, and was told I needed to send in an email my name, name of the approved credit counselor, who I scheduled the appointment with, and when the appointment was to take placeWhen I sent this information, I was told I needed hard proofI called them back, asking how I was going to get hard proof of a scheduled phone call with [redacted] , and was told any supporting documentation I had from my phone conversation was adequateI needed to present this information by 11/I sent my Assesment and Action Plan devised by my Credit Counselor Erin on Thursday, 11/16, and did not receive any response in

On 10/11/16, applied for and was approved for a payday loan At that time, the loan amount was for $ The agreement was to repay payments of $ The very first payment was for this amount, however, every other payment was for a lesser amount I provided them with my ACH information to take the payments, and did not agree to any other amounts in payments or duration Due to them requesting different amounts, this is causing for my payback to take longer, and accrue more interests than what I agreed upon To date, they have extracted over from my back account I did understand their would be interest on my loan, which I understood to be $on top of the $ This payback amount has been surpassed, however, this company is stating I still owe them ~

I have filed multiple complaints to the CFPB against CashNet USA I have filed repeated complaints to the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) as well CashNet USA’s continued response is their business practices are legal and just CashNet USA is a predatory lender and I will continue to fight against them for others who find themselves lured in when in financial desperation I feel the need to continue to fight against such predatory lenders CashNet USA likes to think it is a legal, above board, fair and just company when it simply is not It is abusive and predatory It advertises on mainstream television and lures people, like me, who are in desperate financial states This is despicable, immoral, unjust and obscene CashNet USA’s latest response to me is that it is “a licensed financial provider” My question to the Revdex.com, FTC and CFPB is how can a predatory lender hide behind the statement that because it is “a licensed financial provider”

CROOKS.I called today to pay an extra toward PRINCIPLE so the interest isnt so bad..My payment ISNT due for another DAYS.After getting a SALES person within a few seconds of calling,they put me on HOLD minutes,I called back..On HOLD AGAIN for and I hung up AGAIN...(They put you on hold in hopes you hang up and dont pay them)...They told me that I CANT choose where my payment goes and if I pay,it will ALL go towards the payment that ISNT for another days.I said I WANT TO PAY and put it towards PRINCIPLE ONLY and still make my April payment as SCEDULED..BULL [redacted] This is thr First time in my years ANY COMPANY wont allow early payment toward PRINCIPLE...My car company does,my house company does and EVERY OTHER LOAN I habe ever had allowed early payments to go toward Principle...Any lawyers out there find this to be ILLEGAL?
