Wow!!! I had an amazing experience during a not so pleasant situation. Our sewage backed up, a problem we’ve had off and on over the last 7 or 8 years. On last Thursday with out of town guests driving in, it’s was already after 5PM and our sewage system was backed up. I called on Christian Brother, Christian Brother to the rescue, or not. Who showed up but Jason. Jason snaked the system but he had to call for a longer snake and another tech showed up. They worked tirelessly to break through but the system but it was hopeless. They worked on the system for hour and a half or so. Jason suggested I called my utility company emergency number. He actually got on the phone and explained to the city that the problem/the blockage was beyond my property line. He stayed until the city worker showed up and together they decided it was definitely beyond the line. The utility company had to bring in a contractor the next day, dug a 8 to 10 feet hole and found a 10 inch gap of pipe had separated (wasn’t correctly installed) and fallen in and was totally block. Thanks to Jason who took the lead or to be truthful he took charge of the situation and made it happen. We was up and running late the next day. Jason continued to follow-up with me the next day to follow upon how it was going. Oh yea, when I called the city a couple of years ago with the same issue I got the run around. Thanks to Jason The Plumber from Christan Brothers and Terry from the utility company because this would have been an expensive repair. Thanks Bro.

Excellent company. They handle my AC, Plumbing and electrical very professionally. They also have given me a retired military discount.

I have an annual HVAC service contract with Christian Bros. Jamie N[redacted], their service tech, came out yesterday and did a system check on our furnace. He was prompt, professional in all respects, performed the inspection and reviewed with me his findings. He's a credit to Christian Bros. and deserves recognition for his profession demeanor. Their scheduling dept. also preformed very well. I was called in advance to let me know Jamie was on his way. He arrived within the time window specified. This is a great company to deal with.

Chuck W[redacted] was very polite, professional and done a first rate job on my leaky sink. He done the repairs and cleaned up the area. I appreciate this kind of service. Thank you Mr. W[redacted].

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This response is not satisfactory.  You did not address why the invoice read $0 for the voltage regulator and why I was suddenly charged for the service agreement.  I told [redacted] I was not interested in the service agreement.  Think about it Mr. Manager, why would I be complaining now.  I let the service completed go back in July because even though I knew I was being gouged I didn't want to hassle with it.  5 months later you guys come out to look over  the unit and some other electrical components in the house because of the awesome service agreement I was given for using your company.  Unfortunately because Revdex.com only allows you 500 words I was unable to write that we had turned our unit on before the date we had your company come out and the heat worked fine.  At the time we had your company come out the temperature was higher so we didn't notice until the night it fell to 40 degrees. Again this was just days after [redacted] was here.  I do not except you rebuttal and further more if I don't receive the money that I asked for I am going to take this to the Attorney Generals office and then to the Arizona Registrar of Contractors.  I will continue my quest because although it may not be you that plays these invoice games and tamper with peoples units you have people that work for you that do.  As a fellow manager, I know my request is reasonable and just.  I am aware of the tactics that you will attempt to do and I know the length of time I can consume of yours.  I am irritated by your company and I want restitution.

I received professional, friendly and helpful service from [redacted] on 6/17/2015. Such a experience. He spent the time to ensure the units were working properly and explained in detail what we could do to get the most from our a/c units. Very impressed!

Christian Brothers has been serving the valley since 1976. Our policy is to charge bythe job, not by the hour; which saves the customer money by eliminating inefficient use of the technician and customer’s time. Our trucks are stocked like moving warehouses, most companies need to leave to...

get parts; we get the job done quickly so you won't be inconvenienced. We get the customers approval before any work is started, so that our customer has the right to approve or deny the price quoted for that particular job. We also get the customer’s signature accepting the work was done to their satisfaction. We uphold a full disclosure relationship with our customers at all times and do not vary from this policy.We subscribe to a national pricing service, and based on the phoenix metropolitan area, our prices are about average. There will always be a plumber or a/c technician out there that will quote you a cheaper price; however, you might not be dealing with a bonded, licensed and insured company that will stand behind their work for many years to come. We have been in business for thirty years and our customers can be assured that we will still be around when they have a warranty problem. These other cheaper companies also do not provide their customers with the quality and service that you will receive from Christian Brothers. Some of the “behind the scenes” qualities of a reputable company would be both pre-placement and random drug screening, background checks, weekly training, and hiring the “cream of the crop” service technicians because they will need to be trusted in the customer’s home and they are also expected to fix your problem the first time, so that our customers are not inconvenienced by the problem not being fixed on the first visit. Our technicians respect your home at all times! Before our technicians enter a home, they will put on carpet protectors, roll out their red carpets to protect the floor covering, and leave their work area clean.

The service was great, from the office personal to the service techs.

Mike E[redacted], HVAC tech performed the yearly service efficiently and promptly. He outlined options for future work but put no pressure on us to do them now. Pleasant and informative with his explanations. Good job Mike.

I called for repairs on my tub faucets and toilet difficulties. My scheduled appointment was for between 10-1. Christian Bros knew I was short on time available. To my surprise they were able to move the appointment back to 7 a.m. Frank Becker arrived right on time and ready to work. He was pleasant, helpful, considerate. He knows his business and goes about it very professional.

Christian Brothers HVAC/Plumbing and Electrical have earned their five star rating.
They are transparent and honest which bode well to create satisfied customers who are more than willing to recommend them to others. They don't try to sell something one does not need. Their prices are nicely competitive. They are courteous, clean and prompt.

WOW! BEST customer service I have ever had.

So often we see reviews that are complaints or dissatisfaction with the level of service or professionalism, therefore, I would like to post regarding my total level of satisfaction regarding Frank Becker and Christian Brothers Plumbing.

My water heater went out so I contacted Christian Brohers plumbing. Frank arrived at 1300 and, although the news Frank delivered was not what I wanted to hear (I needed a new water heater), Frank covered the options and the costs of each option pior to performing any work. Frank explained the time that the job would take.

The removal and replacement took less time that originally stated and the cost was less than the original quote,

Frank was a very pleasant and thoroughly competent worker. Should I need any further plumbing or AC work Christian Brothers will be my first call and I will request Frank if he is available.

We had another great experience with Christian Brothers. We had 2 different crews out to check our Heater and our Electrical. We were very pleased. They gave us suggestions and answered all of our questions.

If you use this company for anything you must have a ton of money to spare. Their pricing for repairs are at least four times the cost of other services. The last time I called them, they charged $29.95 for a service call. When they got here they wanted over $400 to replace the shutoff valve on my toilet. It is a $10 part at [redacted] or [redacted]. It took 15 minutes for me (an admitted amateur) to replace. Outrageous. I will never call them again. I had used them once before to replace an A/C wall thermostat. I didn't realize at the time, but I was grossly overcharged then as well. Now I know. Get a competitive bid from another service.

Mike E[redacted] was the lead on our HVAC installation. He is knowledgeable, polite and easy-going. Everything was explained before the work was done. Work was done expertly, all questions were answered. Everything was cleaned up before leaving. Excellent experience.
Mike also did the follow-up check-up and made a recommendation which resulted in better air. Glad to do business with him.
