I was very satisfied with the technician and the work he did.

I found Mr. B[redacted] a more than knowledgeable technician and a complete gentleman at all time. He had a great personality and was more then helpful with all of mt inquires.

We've used Christian Brothers ever since moving into a home and they are always prompt and helpful. [redacted] is extremely knowledgeable and always is able to give us more information on various plumbing issues we've had. I would highly recommend this business and [redacted].

The technician who came to my house was very kind and professional. He explained what services he performed and what recommendations I shoud have done without being pushy. I highly recommend him and Christian Brothers.

Review: Recently we had our AC go out on us in July. We called several places most of which were booked out but finally we reached Christian Brothers. The lady was able to get a tech out to us immediately. At 1st glance this man was the prototype of what looked to be an honest service man. He was clean cut, shirt tucked in and well spoken. We were at his mercy. After taking some time to diagnose he came in with three options. One to change out the motor with service agreement, 2 same as the first except also replace a voltage regulator which I was told was needed or the Fan motor would burn out, and three the same as the first 2 but added a better service agreement and 2 pounds of refrigerant. This guy was slick I told him no service agreement but go ahead and replace the voltage regulator and the fan motor. The volt regulator would be $330 and the Fan Motor would be $968. He ended up telling me that he was going to throw in the service agreement. I said fine what ever. Attached you will see 3 invoices. The most important ones are the second and the 3rd. On the second, you will see allot of scribble but look at the standard rate column and you will see I am being charge for the service agreement and the motor and $0 for the voltage regulator. Total was supposed to be after a coupon and a reverse on the service charge $1264.63. Remember that is supposed to be for the regulator and the motor. Now enter invoice 3 which is signed by my wife when the work was being done while I was gone. Suddenly the price jumped up to $1295 which also shows it being only the fan motor being replaced for $1295. Notice all invoices are different numbers. One service call, 3 invoice numbers why? I called up to ask for copies and a very sweet lady photo copied all 3 invoices and sent them to me. It gets better, I had a company clean my vents just days after the repair and they found wires sticking out of the top of the grill where the fan motor was installed. The guy didn't even have the decency to tuck the wires into a pocket somewhere inside the unit. I sent the pictures to C bros manager who said for the inconvenience he would have him install a factory motor. The guy came back installed an oem supposedly and left. I was just glad to be done with it A few months later I receive a call, from C bros to come and look over my unit to make sure everything is working properly. I had forgot that they gave me the service plan. The guy comes and of course several things need to be done. Whatever, he leaves and a few nights later we turn on our heat for the first time because it was 40 degrees outside and we have a baby. Oddly the heat does not come on. I felt sick knowing that Chrisitan Brothers just came and looked at my unit. I was not about to call the Cbros again so I call another repair man that we used recently to fill our refrigerant. He comes out and says the motor installed was not an oem. He said this system does not have a voltage regulator but he did notice 2 wires had been unplugged from the compressor and that our run capacitor had gone bad probably because whoever unplugged the wires caused the capacitor to over heat and go bad. Funny thing is other AC guy only charged us $295 to replace the capcitor fill 1 pound of refriderent and added dye to detech the leak. plugged the wires back in and wallah we have heat.Desired Settlement: After spending $69.95 for the 1st service charge and $1261.63 for a after market motor and a voltage regulator that was not needed but rather charged under the service agreement. I think it would be only fair to reimburse the $330. I clearly said I did not want the service agreement but was then given to me fraudulently in order to come in to my home and create other issues that were not there. There are several things wrong with this company and I would rather not use them in the future. I will however make it a mission to make sure everyone is aware of their illegal practices.

We get the customers approval before any work is started, so that our customer has the right to approve or deny the price quoted for that particular job. We also get the customer’s signature accepting the work was done to their satisfaction. We uphold a full disclosure relationship with our customers at all times and do not vary from this policy.We subscribe to a national pricing service, and based on the phoenix metropolitan area, our prices are about average. There will always be a plumber or a/c technician out there that will quote you a cheaper price; however, you might not be dealing with a bonded, licensed and insured company that will stand behind their work for many years to come. We have been in business for thirty years and our customers can be assured that we will still be around when they have a warranty problem. These other cheaper companies also do not provide their customers with the quality and service that you will receive from Christian Brothers. Some of the “behind the scenes” qualities of a reputable company would be both pre-placement and random drug screening, background checks, weekly training, and hiring the “cream of the crop” service technicians because they will need to be trusted in the customer’s home and they are also expected to fix your problem the first time, so that our customers are not inconvenienced by the problem not being fixed on the first visit. Our technicians respect your home at all times! Before our technicians enter a home, they will put on carpet protectors, roll out their red carpets to protect the floor covering, and leave their work area clean.

#202923 On 7/19/14 Client scheduled appointment for air conditioning not cooling. Technician arrived at [redacted] in the morning and found the unit had a failed voltage regulator, pulling high amperage and low on R-22 refrigerant. The client was offered (4) separate options for repair or replacement and declined -Option #1-LEAK SEARCH, POSSIBLOE LEAK REPAIR, ADD REFRIGERANT, CONDENSOR FAN MOTOR, COND FAN MOTOR VOLTAGE REGULATOR, SERVICE PLAN.Option#2-ADD R-22 REFRIGERANT, CONDENSOR FAN MOTOR, COND FAN MOTOR VOLTAGE REGULATOR, SERVICE PLAN. Option #3- CONDENSOR FAN MOTOR, COND FAN MOTOR VOLTAGE REGULATOR, SERVICE PLAN.Option #4- CONDENSOR FAN MOTOR, COND FAN MOTOR VOLTAGE REGULATOR, NO SERVICE PLAN.#[redacted] Later on 7/19/14 afternoon, client called back for tech to return and chose to proceed with Option # 3 –replace condenser fan motor, condenser fan motor voltage regulator, and a service plan for $1298.00 plus tax. Once onsite, the technician then discounted the repairs, refunded the first visit diagnostic fee, credited $35.00 coupon to a total of $1193.05 plus tax and after the client signed the contract accepting the repairs, the technician proceeded with the accepted repairs , the unit was operating properly at the time of completion.

[redacted] of Christian Brothers did a fantastic job. He was very professional and extremely accurate on his diagnosis of the A/C problem. He was quick and his customer service is refreshing, usually I get a "well I'm here, what do you want", but he explained everything he was doing. Christian Brothers should be proud to have an employee like him. Thanks for your help with the air conditioning problem.

had George B[redacted] come out to do an inspection of the work done earlier for replacing my air conditioning unit. he was extremely pleasant to deal with and very very helpful in taking care of a small problem I had I was very much impressed with his work did a fantastic job

I love working with Christian Brothers for all of my A/C and Heating needs. They installed a mini split unit 2 years ago for me and one of the technicians was George. I was needing seasonal service on my Mini-split unit and Roof Top Main A/C unit. To my delight, George was my Technician. He remembered me and installing the mini-split unit a few years earlier. Such a pleasant and friendly man. He even reminded me that my mini-split unit was still under service warranty, which saved me $60 on today's service. Another company might not have cared or mentioned the service warranty still in effect. Love the honesty with this company.

I have an annual HVAC service contract with Christian Bros. Jamie N[redacted], their service tech, came out yesterday and did a system check on our furnace. He was prompt, professional in all respects, performed the inspection and reviewed with me his findings. He's a credit to Christian Bros. and deserves recognition for his profession demeanor. Their scheduling dept. also preformed very well. I was called in advance to let me know Jamie was on his way. He arrived within the time window specified. This is a great company to deal with.

Wow!!! I had an amazing experience during a not so pleasant situation. Our sewage backed up, a problem we’ve had off and on over the last 7 or 8 years. On last Thursday with out of town guests driving in, it’s was already after 5PM and our sewage system was backed up. I called on Christian Brother, Christian Brother to the rescue, or not. Who showed up but Jason. Jason snaked the system but he had to call for a longer snake and another tech showed up. They worked tirelessly to break through but the system but it was hopeless. They worked on the system for hour and a half or so. Jason suggested I called my utility company emergency number. He actually got on the phone and explained to the city that the problem/the blockage was beyond my property line. He stayed until the city worker showed up and together they decided it was definitely beyond the line. The utility company had to bring in a contractor the next day, dug a 8 to 10 feet hole and found a 10 inch gap of pipe had separated (wasn’t correctly installed) and fallen in and was totally block. Thanks to Jason who took the lead or to be truthful he took charge of the situation and made it happen. We was up and running late the next day. Jason continued to follow-up with me the next day to follow upon how it was going. Oh yea, when I called the city a couple of years ago with the same issue I got the run around. Thanks to Jason The Plumber from Christan Brothers and Terry from the utility company because this would have been an expensive repair. Thanks Bro.

Christian Brothers A/C and Heating sent Tech Todd Smith to my home to inspect my heat pump for preventive maintenance. After the inspection was completed, he brought to my attention what needed to be addressed. He was very thorough in explaining their different programs and prices, while not making it feel like a pressured sales. We plan on having some work done in the near future and would recommend the Christian Brothers team...

The team of men who inspected our unit and gave us an appraisal of the work that need to be done were very professional and up front with any additional repairs that were needed. We appreciate their honesty and professional attitude during the whole process of options.

Eddie C came to our house to inspect our AC. He was on time, friendly, thorough, and courteous. He showed his badge, put the red carpet by the front door, and put on his booties before entering. He answered all our questions. We couldn't be happier.

christian brothers sent Charles Dalmolin to help with my electrical problem he was very considerate, professional and diagnosed the problem and went out of his to get A.P.S.to come out and repair the issue.

After a major disappointment of waiting 15 hours without water for another plumbing company that never showed, Christian Brothers plumbing sent Frank Becker to our house within an hour and a half. He assessed the problem and presented several options that included an unseen problem and a preventative service plan for future problems. I opted to just resolve the problem at hand and met no resistance. Frank took care of the problem in a timely manner and for a fair price. I am very pleased with the work Frank Becker performed and with the timely manner Christian Brothers responded to our needs. I would strongly recommend Christian Brothers and Frank Becker to anyone in need of plumbing work or repairs.
