Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Navient did not answer my question, and tried to obfuscate with their response The company claims to have no records of me calling, because they only keep track of phone calls when their representatives note the account They don't have an automatic system to track each time a customer calls about their account, and because of that, they claim that I only called about allocating funds in September, the same date I filed a complaint with them about being lied to by their representative So, no, I do not accept their response, and I demand a resolution for them for compensate my account by refunding any interests accrued since April on the loan that I originally called about.I've attached their response to their matter that they chose not to send directly via you, Revdex.com As you can see, they continue to refuse to address the issue and fill up space with nonsense As I stated in the original complaint, I was lied to by one of their representatives on the ability to allocate payments and therefore accrued interest when I shouldn't have Again, I'm now demanding a refund for all interest accrued on that specific loan from April until now Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Navient did not provide any available options other than paying an amount they know I cannot affordThey ignore the fact that my financial status is poverty at this time and continue to call me with negativity as if it is my choice not to pay the loanThey do not take into account that when I was in a better financial situation I was paying every single month through auto debitYet, they speak to me on the phone like I am a criminal and say things like and I quote, "I do not understand how you are not paying, you just don't want to pay anything, the loan is not going to go away just because you do not pay, and that it would be better to not pay rent, car or other bills than to have my loan go into default"These points are nonsense, no one thinks a loan or debt is going to go away when they are in poverty, and just decide they will not pay something but the money is sitting in their pockets They evaluated my monthly income along with all the other bills I struggle to pay, and sometimes can't and admitted that I do not make enough to handle everythingThe low payment they offered would be great if it was more acceptable considering how much I bring in each monthSince forbearance has run out well they throw their hands upThey stated in their letter that their terms were listed when the loan was signed, as if the student had a choice when they were trying to graduateEvery student thinks they will be making enough money once they are in the real world, but economy and other issues sometimes get in the way In short, they basically said call if I want to enroll in a repayment plan that will not fit my budgetAlso they will continue to call more than once a dayI advised prior to my complaint that I am trying to find an opportunity that will change my finances and I would be willing to pay at that timeAt no time did I state I refuse to payNothing has been resolved and I fear everytime I pick up the phone that I will be disrespected and no one will try to find an option that reflects my actual disposable incomeI am waiting for a real response, no tricks, no insults, and trying to work with me to find a solution until I can pay moreIf I cannot delay payments fine, at least provide a payment option lower than $and I can try to see if there is anything else I can do Regards, [redacted]

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The account is already inaccessible Cannot login, I input my account number and/or SSN and birthday and get: "We're sorry – our records don't match the information you providedPlease try again." No attempt made to resolve the issue, only giving us a hard time about the person the loan is actually registered to verses people authorized on the accountContinued excuses to avoid actually having to fix the problemRequesting multiple people be present for phone calls to unlock the account, we did as they asked and were able to access the account for DAY...doing this cost us time and money and they simply unlocked the account and avoiding any attempt to address the actual problem Regards,

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI feel like an antiquated law from 1965, and it's amendments since, are hurting my generation of educated hard-working AmericansAssuming I'll be paying what I can on my year loan, most of which will be interest payments by the time that 30-year term passes, I think I shouldn't have gone to college in this country afterallI guess my problem is not with Navient, they're doing what is well within their legal rights, I guessMy problem is with our government making it harder for people to pursue the happiness they've come to expect Regards,

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Problem:I called to reapply for the Rate Reduction Program today at the phone number [redacted] I first spoke with a woman named ***, who transferred me to her supervisor, [redacted] , who eventually transferred me to a man named JoshBetween these three people, I was not able to reach a monthly payment amount that I can affordLast year when I went through this process, the person I spoke to wanted to raise my interest rate from 1% to 3% despite my cosigner and me struggling to make ends meet at the 1% interest rateThis person suggested I find ways to cut back on monthly expenses such as on foodI asked him if it is a company policy of Navient’s to suggest its customers go hungry in order to pay back their debtHe said noWe eventually negotiated to a 2% interest rate which was still above what my cosigner and I could afford on a monthly basisIn the past year, to make ends meet, I did actually have to skip meals to make this monthly paymentIn the last twelve months I have lost pounds due to lack of foodFor my age and height, I am now considered underweightThis year, Josh made a number of offensive and absurd suggestions to get me to pay the new amount: -He suggested I look for a second jobI currently work more than hours a week just to maintain the job I have nowIn this economy, it is not unusual for employees to work well beyond the typical hour work week to keep their jobIf I were to get a second job it would be for the one day a week I have off and would replace the time I currently use to cook all of my own meals for the weekThe amount I would have to spend on food to eat out each meal would be more than the additional income from a second job-He suggested I try to refinance this debt with another companyNo company in the world would take on this amount of debt with my current circumstancesIf I cannot afford the payment to Navient, why would another company take on the debt? -He suggested I apply for government assistanceThe idea that Josh would suggest this moments after I give my financial information is ridiculousI am not eligible for government assistance because I make too much money-He suggested I call my landlord and request that my rent is reducedI live in New York CityI would be evicted in an instant if I do not make my rent payment in fullIf I have to choose between being evicted and living on the streets and eventually losing my job because of it or defaulting on my student loans, I think the choice is clearI did not mention to Josh that prior to getting approved for the apartment I am in now, I was actually homeless for monthsI spent over a thousand dollars applying to apartment after apartmentI was declined for all because of my student loan debtAre these company policies of Navient? To ask their customers to work seven days a week? To ask their customers to take from the government to pay for their loans? To ask their customers to risk being evicted? I am, for all intents and purposes, an indentured servant to NavientI will remain an indentured servant for the next 25+ yearsI do not go out anymore, I do not socialize, I do not buy clothes, I do not go on vacation; I do not do anythingI live to pay off these loansI work, I come home, I sit alone, I go to bed, and I get up and do it againI am also in more debt than I was last yearTo make ends meet I had to lean on credit cards to get byAlong with this additional debt is an additional monthly payment that I cannot affordMy Federal Student Loans, which totaled roughly $100,when I graduated from college, have increased to roughly $112,todayThe reason for this is my monthly payment to Navient is so high that I cannot even pay the minimum monthly payment to my Federal Loans to break even each month on the interest that accruesEach month as I slowly pay down my Navient Debt, my other debts slowly increase at about the same rateDespite these circumstances, today when I reapplied for the Rate Reduction Program, I was told that my interest rate and payment amount would have to increase again anywayMy cosigner and I reiterated our financial circumstances and the fact that we are not making ends meet at our current interest rate, but the Navient employees we spoke to just repeated the same statement over and over like a broken recordThe two options I was left with at the end of the call were to accept a 2.5% interest rate for the next twelve months (which would increase my monthly payment) or to accept a 2.5% interest rate for the next twelve months and have the length of my loan extended by a few years (which would keep my payment the same as it is today)Neither of these options are a sustainable solution for the predicament I am inI cannot afford my current payment as it stands today, so neither of these options are realisticI also cannot extend my payment out by a number of years to get by for the next months knowing that next year Navient will raise my interest rate again and I will again not be able to afford the paymentI am on the verge of defaulting because I cannot afford my paymentI do not see any point in extending the terms of my loan just so that I don’t default for another couple yearsThis is not a sustainable solution!TranslateDesired Resolution / OutcomeDesired Resolution:Billing AdjustmentselectDesired Outcome:I want to make it clear that I have every intention of paying my debt in full, but I cannot make the payment that was offered to me todayThe stress of going through this process every year is placing such a heavy psychological burden on me that I am getting illI need a permanent and sustainable payment that I can affordI propose a payment of $a month for the remainder of my loan termThis issue needs to be resolved by the end of May when my payment will increase to the full amountPlease expedite this process.Translate

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Until I have seen the letter posted to me by Navient regarding the matter in question I cannot accept their response to my claimOnce I do receive the letter I may be able to respond differently, but in light of the fact that the Revdex.com will assume the matter has been resolved if I do not respond within five days, and I cannot guarantee that I will receive the letter in question in that time, I reject the claim in the interim Regards,

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have attached the response letter Navient sent, which now says they already sent the funds in question to the state of Indiana in February 2017, but after following up with the state, they deny ever receiving them, and said they would have processed by now if they had in fact been sent months ago as Navient claimsYou will notice this is an entirely different claim from what Navient stated in my original complaint, where they acknowledged they owed the funds, but thought I should wait more months for them to re-issue a checkNow they're telling me they distributed them, but refuse to prove it with a cleared check.I was told my a representative today that they're still reviewing my account, but if they had confirmed these funds were distributed, I'm not sure why I'm still sitting here days later still waiting for the cleared checkI appreciate your assistance as I try to get the necessary funds/records in question Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Attached is the letter I received from Navient dated 3/29/They have admitted that I "did not receive the professional service that is expected of all Navient representatives", but yet they have only agreed to one of my resolutionsNavient has cost me personal time and money because of their errors, and I should be reimbursed for time spentAlso, because of misallocating funds, mixing up payment totals, and having me unenroll and reenroll in auto deposit I have had to pay more in interest that I should haveI want of the desired resolutions completed by Navient In the letter they sent me, there was very little information that was personal to me or that couldn't be left out, to be able to respond onlineI do not think it is right that they respond online that they will be sending a letter, instead of addressing the issue online to help make other customers aware of same or similar issues
