A representative from the Office of Customer

the issue with the customer.

Revdex.com:

have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Their response merely prolongs and delays a quick and rightful abandonment of this claim of debt. Today will exhaust the Revdex.com response window while I wait for yet another empty claim letter in the mail? I require them to abandon this claim, as Sallie Mae has been provided all the evidence required for a reasonable resolution.Regards,

They have refused to try and help with my credit score due to this issue saying that they just report accurate information. They could send a letter to the bureaus stating that they did not ever try to contact me as the co-signer by US mail and send information that the email address or the payments they had received were not from me except for the payoff amount after I realized my credit score dropped and then started the investigation as to what happened. According to the internet Navient does not have a very good record. My credit score was excellent for years and now it dropped 130 points. This is why I cannot let this drop. I understand you can do just so much but I will look into obtaining an attorney if my letters to the credit bureaus that I am now writing get nowhere. I do realize that this is a small thing compared to what many people have to deal with and I am thankful that God has been so good to me but my credit did mean a lot to me.

I was contacted by a lady by the name of [redacted] from Navient. She told me there is nothing she can do to change the interest rate of the loan. I think that is a complete lie because you can negotiate interest rates with banks, credit card companies, etc. I have also been told by others that they have negotiated the interest rate on their student loans. They sent me the original copies from the loan when Sallie Mae owned it and it does state 13% interest but I believe this company should work with their customers to help them achieve a better life instead of being in debt for forever. [redacted] also told me that I should just go get a different loan to pay it off to be done with them. The only way I would consider is if they dropped the interest and just allowed me to pay off the principal.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I feel like an antiquated law from 1965, and it's amendments since, are hurting my generation of educated hard-working Americans. Assuming I'll be paying what I can on my 30 year loan, most of which will be interest payments by the time that 30-year term passes, I think I shouldn't have gone to college in this country afterall. I guess my problem is not with Navient, they're doing what is well within their legal rights, I guess. My problem is with our government making it harder for people to pursue the happiness they've come to expect.
