Jason B*** is a con artist He is threatening me by mail with a "FINAL NOTICE." I'm on the Do Not Mail list so I'm filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the FBI since B*** used the US Mails to threaten me I'm also filing a complaint with the CO Division of Real Estate about his illegal practices

Approximately, months ago, I received mailing from the company that provided no details as to who the company was, just that it was trying to desperately reach me and that I should call their numberThis mailing had an originating address, at leastI called and spoke with ***, who is of course not the owner and he had *** return my callShe assured me I would be removed from the mailing list
I again received another mailing this past Friday with no details about the business contacting meIt was to say at most the most juvenile form of advertising I have ever seen written in permanent marker, stating, HELLO? WHERE ARE YOU? FLIP OVERI HAVE CASH FOR YOU! How desperate can you get? I am thinking

We had a great, very professional experience with HomeTrust Kelly and Hope were so easy to work with and answered our questions before we even thought to ask They really know what they are doing, and it is nice to be with people we can trust I would recommend working with the HomeTrust team They helped with every step, and made it easy and zero stress There are a lot of people doing this who don't know how and we are happy we found the experts

Great people to do business with Closed in two weeks

This was our first experience with HomeTrust and we were very pleased with the processWe would use you again and would definitely refer you to others

You guys have been amazing! Between Andy, Kelly and Hope you kept promises, were prompt and answered text messages I went online after talking to a relative who is a real estate agent and you have very good reviews I also had a flyer from the mail and I got a call back right awayYou are trustworthy and legitimate I had trepidation, I thought it might be a scam You are a real company I was worried, but you were everything I hoped You were on time and as expected Just check the reviews, they are all so good You have taken a huge weight off my shoulders I feel better with this sold

We did our homework and picked this company after reading Revdex.com reviews and were hoping this would be a great experience I would tell anyone to use Hometrust! Very positive all-around Kelly was amazing and just so helpful

This was mine and my brother's childhood home, a lot of memories were made here We chose ClearSale because their process seemed easy for us Bryan was friendly, the entire process from start to finish was fast & efficient! Everything went exactly as we were told and it took less than days as promised at the Green Light Call! Numbers were as expected and we are very happy to have chosen ClearSale!

It was nice to work with Hope at HomeTrust She is honest and fair Easy process They do what they say they are going to do I would recommend people work with them It makes doing this as convenient as could be We are happy we worked with HomeTrust

Everybody has been very professionalBryan explained the process, with every little detail, Laurie kept was updated every week checking in She was very helpful and always concerned about our wellbeing We feel the price we received for our home was very fair and we are very happy with the entire process We would definitely recommend HomeTrust to friends and family!

Dan From Clear Sale in Seattle came to my house and told us he would submit an offerWeeks later he has not responded to repeated attempts to contact him
At best this was a complete waste of my timeI would highly recommend steering clear of this business if you value your own time and energyIgnore the well produced videos on their website, these are not nice people in my experience

I would recommend HomeTrust This process was so easy with you My mom got a card and we talked to someone on the phone and she set up an appointment Bryan came over and we discussed the options and came up with something that worked for us We could have done the work, but it just didn't seem like we should go to that effort Kelly kept me in the loop about the close and it was as I expected the whole wayYour price was fair and you were professional and reliable and fast I would tell people to work with you I worked in law enforcement for years I would highly recommend hometrust to anybody who is looking to sell a home Hope at HomeTrust is real and nice

This was my first time working with HomeTrust and it was a great experience I couldn't have done it without their help! Great communication, smooth process I would definitely use HomeTrust again

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: part of the problem is the falsehood in the flier which states that the company has unsuccessfully tried to contact me.  If they are using public records, they certainly would have had other means of contacting me if this statement were true.  Based on the falsity of this statement, I personally would NEVER do business with them.  It seems that internally they could remove my name even if they do use the list from public records, just as in "do not call" lists, they could maintain a "do not mail" list.  My house is NOT for sale now or in the foreseeable future and I do not want this company's mailings.  In fact, I want no further contact with this company by any means.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

First, I want to apologize for this inconvenience Mr. [redacted], I too would be annoyed by these calls if my number was on the DNC list.  After checking with several people, I was able to find out there was a glitch with our auto dialing system that is supposed to recognize all numbers on the DNC list.  I have been assured that this has been taken care of and you should not receive anymore calls from us.  Again, I am sorry for this error and appreciate you alerting us to this issue.

Our clients are sophisticated and THE BEST!! They have all researched our company before deciding to work with us.  Read the reviews of people who actually sold their house to us.  They are extremely satisfied with how we do business and we treat them with respect....

Most people have better things to do with their time than spend the money and effort and months needed to sell their house on the MLS.  We are excellent at solving their problem in a fair and transparent manner.  We always keep our word, there are no surprises at the closing table and we take their individual situation to heart. We work our hardest to make their experience positive.  Our excellent reviews speak for themselves. We have helped people hold estate sales, we have moved furniture, we have evicted problem tenants and helped them transition to their next step. We are professionals and we are kind. All our mailing lists are taken directly from public records. These public records are maintained by the county assessor and are available to any citizen or company. Other mailers also take their mailing lists from public records. Removing an address from a mail list on a permanent basis is something we are not allowed to do. When lists are refreshed the public records can come back on the list – even after we have removed a particular mailing address. Only YOU can take your name off of public record, but you are mad we are not doing that for you. I would if I could! I can see you don’t like junk mail….and I don’t either. But it isn’t something I can legally do for you. The only way to be removed from any mail list that uses public records would be to remove your mailing address from public records by filing paperwork with your county assessor. If you don’t remove your name, it will inevitably be added back into our and all other mailing lists. You are welcome to call or text or email us when you receive something from us and we will, every time, remove you from our internal mailings but I won’t be able to stop mail all unless you remove your public record.  Thank you for understanding!  us why here...

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Did not comply with request again but turn it to their company speall which AGAIN, I am not interested in. It is quiet simple. Remove me from your mailing list. I have contact every company to that respected this but them. Which is why it has been reported here. Im not interested in their agenda, excuses nor why their customers choose them and they are the BEST. That is completely besides the point of the complaint. I am speaking specifically to my dealings with this company. They have personal access to all mailing from their company. If a person has contacted the company (on several occasions) to exclude them from company mailing list. It is that companies responsibility to do so. To pass the buck and respond "you're on public record, so we will keep sending you advertisements for our company" is ludicrous and quiet frankly lazy.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Tell us why here.. We are very sorry that our direct mail caused you annoyance.  That was not our intent. Please note this is NOT a complaint about our product or service.  This is a complaint about receiving mail.  We have never done business with you – nor have you ever...

attempted to do business with us.  This complaint is about you receiving direct mail from us, similar to hundreds of other pieces of “junk mail” every residential mailbox receives every year. Our clients are sophisticated and THE BEST!!  They have all researched our company before deciding to work with us.  Read the We reviews of people who actually sold their house to us.  They are extremely satisfied with how we do business and we treat them with respect. We have a formal, written process for processing address removal requests.  Six months ago, (your voicemail indicated it was 9 months ago), as promised, [redacted] was able to remove you from that list, and that is why you did not receive any mail for a period of time. We complied with our removal process.  But then the lists refreshed, you are still in the public record, and it appears your mailing address was added back to our list as I described above.  We have now complied with our removal process again and will do our best to create a different result. We are very sorry that our direct mail caused you annoyance.  That was not our intent. Please note this is NOT a complaint about our product or service.  This is a complaint about receiving mail.  We have never done business with you – nor have you ever attempted to do business with us. We have a formal, written process for processing address removal requests.  Six months ago, (your voicemail indicated it was 9 months ago), as promised, [redacted] was able to remove you from that list, and that is why you did not receive any mail for a period of time. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I appreciate the details you shared with me.  Let me clarify a few things for you regarding your statements.  The option 3 you are referring to when calling us is to be removed from our internal call list so we will no longer call you via phone regarding the home and it could take several weeks to take effect.  We do forward the list of removals to our marketing company but that recording also explains it can take several weeks to take affect and the info provided must be an EXACT match.   if you want to ensure you no longer receive our mailings and other 3rd party companies, the best way to do so would be the removal from public records which ensures quicker results and a more permanent solution, removal from public records can only be done by you, I apologize, we are not able to do that for you.  I hope this has provided a better explanation of the process for you.  Thank you for taking the time to let us know your concerns in detail.I  want you to know your request has been taken very seriously and would like to assure that we have made sure to have you permanently removed from our calling list per your request .  There will be no more calls to the number you provided.  However, unless you personally go to the county and remove your name and address from the public records list, I  cannot assure you that you will not receive  future mailings fro m us.  Our mailings are sent from public records and we cannot remove anyone’s name from that list, it is periodically updated and sent to our marketing company who also can’t remove any names,  Only you can have your name removed from the list, I‘m sorry about that.
