This company reported an account that I have on a payment planWhile they have the right to report the account to the credit reporting agencies, the fact that they waited till I was on a payment plan is a shady business practiceYou already run a type of business that is notorious for treating their customers badly, maybe try and run your business with honor and integrityI have no other option to continue to pay on my account, but hopefully someone will see this and know that this company will report you whether or not you are taking care of your financial business with them

I received a collection notice from CMRE alleging that I had not paid $for medical services provided by *** *** on 11-13-At that time I was covered with health insurance by United Healthcare, with no lapse in premiums, and my annual deductible had been satisfied, therefore this bill was paid by the insurance companyIn CMRE's letter dated 10/08/15, it is specifically stated that I had days to dispute the collection effort and to ask CMRE for proof of the debtI did so in my dispute to them dated 11/08/Their response to me, however, did not contain proof of the validity of the debt, but a restatement of their effort to collect the alleged debtI called their number thereafter to again ask for proof of the validity of the debt, and I was told that a letter would be sent to me, and it was notAs of today, I have not received a copy of the bill or any proof that this is an honest and valid effort to collect a debtEven before their first collection let

Despite CRME stating that bills or letters were mailed to me, NOTHING has EVER been received by either CRME or the client that they are collecting on behalf of I do appreciate CRME contacting me to discuss it, however their attitude toward me during the conversation was less than respectful or professional There was never any communication with their "client" nor with CRME until I flied this complaint I have NEVER in my life not paid a bill, or even been late with any payment, as is evidenced by my credit report While I understand CRME is "just doing their job", I think they are accepting clients who are unscrupulousCRME has failed to do any due diligence in regard to this account Imagine discovering out of nowhere that your credit score has been damaged when you were given zero opportunity to address or defend yourself in the situation This is irresponsible of both CRME and *** *** ***, who they are collecting for This is unprofessional I never asked to do business with either of these organizations I didn't even know I was....I again request that this "collection" file be terminated and my credit report repaired by CRME Maybe they should strongly consider who they take on as clients If their own Revdex.com rating is of any value to them, then perhaps representing *** *** ***, which has a Revdex.com rating of F, should be taken into consideration

The consumer's complaint is that they would like a CMRE representative to contact them directlyOn 05/17/a CMRE supervisor, *** *placed a telephone call to the consumer to the telephone number shown on this complaintA voicemail message was left for the consumer with
information to reach *** *directlyThe consumer can feel free to telephone *** * using our toll free number *** *** *** ***

After attempts to speak with a representative and over hour of "hold" times I find there is NO way to have this company remove a negative report from my credit report EVEN after paying the original bill If it's their goal to ruin people's credit rather than get payment for medical bills, they are on the right track

The consumer's account was assigned to CMRE on
07/13/for a date of service of 02/03/The first notice
was mailed to the consumer on 07/19/in compliance with FDCPAThe
notice was mailed to the address the consumer listed in this
complaint, no mail was
returnedTexas family
code states that the parents of minor children are responsible for the
necessaries of life for their minor
children, medical care is considered a necessary of life. The consumer
took the minor child to the medical facility for treatmentThe consumer remains responsible for the debtThe
divorce decree is an agreement between the consumer and her minor
child's fatherThe consumer can attempt recovery of the monies
from her minor child's father if she choosesWe have notified
both Experian and TransUnion that the consumer is in dispute of this
debt

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.First of all, I sent the request for validation as soon and I discovered the account on my credit report. I never received a response from CMRE within the day validation period as required under Texas Finance Code 392. CMRE did not respond to my request in the specified days, and there is no evidence that they did. Not only that,, according to FDCPA Section 809(b) Debt collection MUST cease collection activity until account has been verified. Therefore CMRE is in violation of both state and federal consumer protection laws.
I have made every effort to resolve this matter outside a courtroom before a jury in my community. I am respectfully requesting that CMRE do the right thing and request this item be deleted from the credit bureaus.

I just received a collections notice from this company in the mail However, the claim says I have an outstanding balance of $at "*** *** *** ***," which is a company I do not believe exists I have never received an invoice in the mail from said company, nor have they attempted to reach me by phone or email Additionally, my name is misspelled on the collections notice as "***" Could you please help me ascertain whether or not this is a valid collections notice?

The company cancelled my account on 5/7/I have been making regular payments in the amount of $per month on this account from 7/4/to 7/2/The company did not notify me of the account cancellation, nor has the company refunded the monies paid from 5/7/through 7/25/I have contacted the company and have been informed that I will not be recieving a refund for the overpaymentI feel as though the company has stolen from meI seek a refund of the monies paid from 5/7/through 7/25/plus the highest interest charge allowable by law

The consumers keeps referring to an “automatic” payment, he must have set this“automatic” payment with is bank as the only way CMRE can set up automatic monthlypayments is with a signed EFT contract, we do not have one on file for the consumer The account in question is now paid in full and
CMRE has submitted this to both Experianand TransUnion for deletion

CMRE has started calling and sending letters on one of the many bills I have from Heart surgery at the end of the yearThe problem is I have setup payment plans with all of those that were owed money from my surgery and this company is attempting to collect on a payment already made to *** *** directIn addition they are threatening to file on my credit reports about HIPPA related services which is not legalI do not believe they are authorized to collect a debt in my state and their practices of collecting when payments have already been made to the provider is no only unethical but illegal

The consumer’s account was assigned to CMRE on 09/06/for a date of service of 03/13/The first notice was mailed to the consumer on 09/13/in compliance with FDCPA; no mail was returnedWe received a request for validation on 06/16/FDCPA allows that validation may be requested
widays of the first notice, in this case sent in Although not required by FDCPA; CMRE sent validation of the debt to the consumer on 06/17/ We have updated the consumer’s credit profile to show their disputed status

In August 2015, I suffered a heart attack and was transported by ambulance to a hospital and recieved various medical seevices at a local hospitalThere were many bills and all but one were properly settledThe one bill that was not was a some dollar bill that got sent to CMRE for collectionsI tried calling CMRE to discuss this bill but was put on extended hold and ultimatey hung up before an agent could answer the phoneThis happened twiceAt some point, CMRE put a derogatory remark on my credit report
The account is now settled because I paid CMRE the full amount of in April However CMRE will not remove the derogatory remark which greatly affects my credit score and impairs my ability to secure a mortgage
I called CMRE and spoke to a *** ***She told me it was policy to not remove such remarksI then asked to speak to a supervisor and she refused to connect me with oneI then asked for the name of the CEO who I could write a letter to and again

I was contacted by CMRE Financial Services regarding an alleged debtI have attempted to contact them on occasions with no success to find out more about the nature of the collection
They have not returned any of my messages and I do not want to end up with a negative mark on my credit simply because they refuse to follow up on the collectionThe last message I left them indicated that if they failed to return my call a third time I would take it that they were not interested in collecting the alleged debt
I do not know what my rights are here and I fear that I will end up being the one paying the price for their practices

I have a credit monitoring systemAnd, upon notice that my credit score changed I noticed four accounts on my credit reported per CMREI contacted CMRE and requested information on all the reported collectionsI had never received a bill for any pending medical billsI requested information on the original creditor due to the fact that I had no idea who Medical Payment Data is/nor have I ever received services from this businessDuring the time reported I was receiving State Medicaid, and should not be receiving bills for medical servicesI verified with my insurance carrier and they confirmed they didn't receive any bills during this time frameI request that CMRE retract all detrimental inaccurate information from my credit report immediatelyUpon contacting CMRE once again they refused to provide my requested informationAnd, I request that each original creditor provide me with proper notice of the debtsIncluding detailed charges, date of service, and proof of notificati
