The account in question was assigned to CMRE on 09/09/for a date of service of 02/05/The first notice was mailed to the consumer on 11/11/as required by FDCPA, no mail was returnedThis complaint is the first we have heard from the consumerThe CMRE has not violated FDCPA, which states
that the consumer has thirty (30) days to dispute the validity of the debt from the time the first letter was receivedI have placed validation of the debt in the mail to the consumer today and updated his credit profile to show the disputed status

They did NOT provide the letter on 03/01/16, I spoke to several representatives after that date and was told they could not due the letter due to a 'NEW POLICY". Since I did not provide my drivers license or SS# they were unable to do the letter. The only thing they sent on 03/01/was a bill in my ex-husbands name to my address. I asked the letter be sent to me, MY NAME and MY ADDRESS!!. They send the letter in the wrong name and to an address that I have never lived at. This was done intentionally on the 16th. They had the correct address for me and they also had my correct name. This company has never and will never admit when they make a mistake and refuse to correct it. This is why they have been sued for this very same issue. If I was listed as the responsible party, do you not find it strange, that I live at a different address and have a different last name. If I was listed as the responsible party, then why was I NEVER CONTACTED!! One would think you would contact the responsible party prior to putting something on their credit report. I want a letter addressed to *** *** at my correct address, as this is the credit report they put it on. It is amazing how hard it is to get something as simple as a letter from this company! Especially since it was not my error. Regards,*** ***

Our client is in the process of reviewing the consumer's dispute, and will contact CMRE once their investigation is complete

To whom it may concern:
This agency is calling asking for a *** *** I already told them repeatedly that person does not live there and they need to find out where he is so that he can pay them They stop calling and then months later they call again about to times daily Please help

CMRE Financial has the WORST customer service repsI have been hung up on, spoke to in a condescending tone, and just overall rudeness I was calling to PAY my debt I wasn't avoiding them I was transferred to an automated payment line When I entered the account # provided by the 'customer service' rep and the automated line kept telling me the account number did not match I was transferred back to a rep, who before hanging up on me told me, "Just make it easy on yourself and use the web site."
Who do these people think they are?!? I am an adult Not a child in a 1st grade classroom

The consumer did have three (3) accounts assigned to CMREThe portion of the bill assigned to CMRE was for the ER physicians who bill separately from the hospitalThe consumer did make some payments to our client, but has not paid the balance in fullWe are deleting the entry from the consumer’s
credit profile due to the age of the accounts

The consumer did not provide sufficient information to locate the account he is referring toThe address provided in the complaint is not shown to be an actual address in ***, TXPlease have the consumer provide CMRE with sufficient information to locate the account. If he wishes he may

The consumer's account was assigned to CMRE on
04/21/for a date of service of 10/18/The first notice was mailed to the
consumer on 04/26/in compliance with FDCPA, no mail was returnedThis complaint
is the first we have heard from the consumerHe has not communicated with CMRE in
any
way. The FDCPA is clear it states:
" a
statement that unless the consumer, within thirty days after receipt of the
notice, disputes
the validity of the debt, or any portion
thereof, the debt will be assumed to be valid by the debt
collector;"
"a statement that if the consumer
notifies the debt collector in writing within the thirty-day period
that the
debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, the debt collector will obtain
verification of the
debt or a
copy of a judgment against the consumer and a copy of such verification or
judgment
will be
mailed to the consumer by the debt collector"
The consumer is well past the validation period
CMRE is not in violation of any laws

This company continues to make and misleading statementsI never acknowledged that this debt has been validated as it is impossible to validate a debt that does not belong to meI have attached the original validation request with proof of deliveryCMRE has yet to provide validation of this debt and would be unable to do so unless by way of fraudulent practicesCMRE has not provided proof of initial letters or anything indicating I owe a debtThey willfully continue to cause damages by refusing to validate and continuing to report an illegitimate debtbr />

I have requested validation of the account that has been attempted to collect on from this collection agency and I have not received anything postal mail nor contactIt has been more than days since the original request was sent

I recently pulled my credit and found a collection on my credit reports with this company on them

The consumer appears to be somewhat confused as to the validation periodAs stated in my initial reply, the consumer’s account was assigned to CMRE on 02/24/12; the first notice (which is when the validation period begins) was mailed to the consumer on 03/04/No mail was returnedThe account was credit reported on 05/20/The consumer’s request for validation was not sent, by the consumer’s own admission until 6/21/which is over years after the validation period had expiredCMRE nonetheless send the validation to the consumer as a courtesy to the consumerPlease note the consumer has not stated he did not receive the services and note the account remains unpaid, we have updated his credit profile to show the disputed statusCMRE does not purchase accounts but rather has them assigned by the original creditor

CMRE has no knowledge of the person who filed this
complaintThe CMRE has sent no mail or placed no telephone
calls to this partyThe address' given to CMRE normally are received
from the service providerCMRE has received no direct contact from the consumer
who filed this complaintThe
consumer should be cautioned that it is
illegal to open another party's mailCMRE will have no problem ceasing
communication with this consumer as we have never contacted her

This company is reporting two delinquent trade lines on my credit report for the same hospital visit of December 10, If the company believes that I owe this bill, they should be able to provide me with a validation of my debtI have authorized my sister to assist with this account and she spoke to *** *** *** and she mentioned he was very rude and very unprofessionalShe requested a validation of debt to be mailed to me to confirm that we owe this amount and he refused to send one out to meIf the company wont validate this debt them I will not pay for something that happened years agoThis account should be falling off my credit soon anyways

The consumer has had several accounts assigned to CMRE, The accounts covered under the consumer's financial assistance program with the service provider have been closed and removed from the consumer's credit profileAs part of our investigation we contacted the service provider, they informed us
that the consumer is required to apply for financial assistance every six (6) months The consumer should contact the service provider to apply for additional financial assistance

We were unable to match the consumer's telephone number to any of the accounts assigned to CMRE, this means that the consumer's telephone number
has been removed
from our systemWe have gone the further step of placing the
number on our do not call listThe telephone number was provided to our client on
the date of serviceIt is possible that the party used the consumer's
telephone number on more than one occasionPlacing the consumer's
telephone number on our do not call list will prevent further callsPlease note CMRE
would not like to waste the consumer's time or their own by calling incorrect
telephone numbers

I have an account with CMRE, I have regularly been making my payments as agreedFor the past few weeks, whenever I call to make my payment (because I was told the only way I could make my payments was to call the legal department)(and I have made MULTIPLE CALLS), nobody answers and I leave a message for a call backI haven't received a call back for a couple weeksMy payments are now weeks late, and I was told that my wages will get garnished if I don't make my payments on timeIf the company expects payments, then people need to answer the phones, or call back, especially when they tell me the only way for me to pay is by speaking with someone
And, last time I spoke with someone, I mentioned that it is very hard to get a hold of a live person in the legal departmentThe woman was very condescending and said "We are not responsible for making your payments." Yes, CMRE, you are not responsible for my paymentsBut you are responsible for not answering your phones, and not calling your consumers back in a timely fashionWork in your customer service!

The consumer's account was paid as agreedCMRE has submitted the account for deletion, electronically via ***Letters were sent to the consumer confirming the deletion had been submittedThe letter also noted that CMRE has no control over how long it takes
the credit reporting agencies to complete the deletion
