There has been a cogeco cable strung across my driveway for the past months
In August *** installed new underground cable on my street In the process *** apparently cut the cogeco cable cable going to my neighbor's at *** *** Ave From the cable box, at the end of my property, they strung a temporary cable line in the air The cable proceeds across my driveway, through a tree in front of my house, across another driveway and tree to *** *** Ave I talked to the neighbor at *** *** and they indicated that Cogeco knew about the strung up temporary cable I have since personally phoned Cogeco tree times in the past year - fall of 2017, August 14, and October 12, Cogeco has informed me that there is a work order to bury the cable but there is no set date It has been months and there is still no resolution to this issue

After being a loyal Cogeco customer for over years, I decided to cancel my service and switch it to *** ***
I called Cogeco on October 17th, to cancel my services and was given my outstanding balance up to that point of $301.xx I day or two later, I paid the balance in full and within 2-weeks, I returned all of the Cogeco rental equipment as per instructions from Cogeco
Three to four months later, I started to receive harassing calls from a collection company stating that I owed an additional (Approx $180.00) for cancellation fees I explained to them in detail that I refuse to pay those charges as there were no cancellation fees mentioned when I cancelled and additionally, I was a customer for over years meaning that Cogeco has not incurred any early termination / cancellation losses due to my cancellation

About months ago I changed my internet provider from Cogeco to *** in doing so Cogeco stopped our TV cable subscription, this was not part of the change and should never have happened, a call to their customer service department was not helpful in fixing the problem, we were bounced from department to department for ~hours always being told it was someone else's issue and they could fix itAfter the hours call we were put on a callback list because for some reason there was no manager available to speak to and they couldn't solve the problem

I recently found out that Cogeco has been overcharging my small business by as much as $per monthThey have been billing me $instead of $based on the current published rate for Ultimate package - Business Internet service with 3-year commitment non-bundled
I have been a Cogeco customer for 10+ yearsI contacted Cogeco last week of July but was told that they can only refund equivalent of months overbilling, since apparently I can only dispute bills only within days
They also said that the price drop happened only earlier this year, which should at least give me months worth of refunds, if ever what they are saying is trueI requested a price history for the package I have but apparently they cannot find one

Cancelled my services with Cogeco Cable on May 11th, I was owed a credit for pre paying a month in advancedTotal amount of $I called numerous times to ask when I would receive my creditThey informed me that it would take - weeks to receive a "cheque" in the mailNever received my credit and it has been months! I reside in a condo building where Cogeco cable service fees are automatically deducted from monthly condo feesI called Cogeco Aug 3, to book an appointment to transfer my unit services to my nameAug 16, a technician came to my residence and installed a new boxThe Tech said there was an issue linking my box to my account, and that Cogeco would fix the issue within buisness daysAug 17, we called to see if the issue was fixed and were told it ahould be fixed by TuesdayAug 21, I still had no cableI called Cogeco and was told again to wait two business daysAug another call, still no service, asked to speak to a managerI was told managers weren't taking live calls and that a manager would return my call in hoursWe never received a call from managementAug 28, I called Cogeco again to resolve the lack of service, which I'm currently paying forMy husband is currently still on the phone with Cogeco to resolve the issueI feel as though Cogeco isn't taking our issu

For 2+ months I tried to contact Cogeco through phone, email, ***, even calling the 'collection line' and I could not get a response to get my internet and tv channel issues fixed They increased my bill without a conversation with me, changed a billing cylce, charged interest basically making the bill totally confusing As far as I was concerned they had mistakenly sent me someone elses bill because my services did not cost this much but nobody would respond to my attempts to figure it out After doing collections for the company I used to work for, they were coming across as a company that was going out of business, even their 'collection line' was out of service Finally I decided to blast their *** page with a bunch of 'advertising' posts hoping to save others from this horrible experience I and many others are going through Finally I got someone's attention I was in contact with someone through private messaging and she credited my account, told me I owed $but I had to talk to someone and gave me a number to call to fix the channels and schedule a service call After 1/hrs on the phone it was done The next day I paid the $account balance $ should be but no I got a bill for the full amount again Contacted them and they said they don't know what the woman did so I would have to pay another amount They gave me another little credit But that's not the point The point is, I was told to pay an amount to have a $balance and then they made something else up Who can trust a business like this times I was blamed for not paying my bill I was threatened with ruining my credit rating by another all because they can't figure out what their new system is doing So I just paid another amount that was supposed to bring my account to $ I asked for some paperwork that would tell me that my balance would be $then and she said well we can't print a special bill off for you These people can do what they want if someone doesn't take them to task

During an outage with my current internet provider *** I was looking at other options and companies for my families, needs and I found CogecoI decided to check it out On May 3, I was in an online chat with ***During this chat we discussed my ordering their servicesI settled on ordering the Triple bundle, (My mix with ***, Ultra Fibre Unlimited and basic phone) for $a month for months
While speaking with *** I advised him that I was currently using *** and that I was having problems I had advised him that a technician was coming out to fix my services (*** uses Cogeco lines to provide services to customers) Now I advised *** that a technician was coming out Friday and asked if they could just hook up my services with them instead*** advised that services could be connected on Monday, I told him that I went back to work on Monday and no one would be home*** told me that he would need to speak with Customer Serv

I called Cogeco to cancel my cable subscription During the conversation, the representative offered to put my account "on hold" I would not continue to receive the service but I would be able to keep my cable box and remain in their system so that when I felt like activating it again, I could contact them and it would be quick and simple I agreed and so began a year-long saga that has no end in sight
month after terminating the cable and paying my final half-month bill, I received a new bill charging a full month's service, I hooked up my cable box and found the service active on my tv (there should have been dead air) I called Cogeco and they credited my account and shut down the service again
months after that, I received another bill from Cogeco, once again they had re-activated my account without my permission and were charging me I called Cogeco but this time I was told that I would have to pay the outstanding amount I refused, cancelled my service (completely this time) and returned the Cogeco equipment by mail (I took a picture of the box's contents just in case)
I've had several dozen phone conversations with both Cogeco and whatever collection agency they've hired to harass me, each time politely explaining the situation, refusing to pay and offering to settle the dispute in court if they wish
The last interaction came last week when a person claiming to represent a legal office called on behalf of Cogeco asking for the unpaid bill of $be paid forthwith This person only confirmed my name, not my address, not my account number etcwhich leads me to suspect this was simply a collection agent fraudulently impersonating a lawyer I feel like I have no recourse when dealing with a company like this, I gave them no permission to reactivate my account but no formal contract was signed indicating any of this I'm hoping others may have experienced something similar to this and perhaps the Revdex.com can help

I have been dealing with the same problem for monthsI have been over charged, I have spoken to cogeco many times to be told I will be refunded and not beenIm still getting charged for equipment that I have proof I have returned and they acknowledgeI spent minutes on the phone tonight September 24thI got through to one person who said they would get a team leader since its months of wrong billingI then ended up with someone new who didnt know anything about who I was originally talking to this is after another minutes of waiting for them to come backThis guy put me back in line to another minute wait! When I finally yet again get throughI told this person I have been on the phone for minutes trying to fix 100s$ of dollars of overcharges from the past months and was already talking to someone ? He hung up on me without saying a wordi called back and they are now closedI dread calling them at all because I have to take half a day out of my week to deal
