[redacted] Customer purchased a BerkeleyBrownstone Chelsea Kitchen Dining Room Set As the customer states the item is advertised as being crafted from Select hardwood and veneers Selected hardwood and veneers means that it is a wood product engineered and finished with a veneer The item is actually crafted from all wood products What the the customer is referring to as MDF board is constructed of all wood products and engineered to withstand temperature and climate changes It does not imply that the item is inferior nor does it imply it is not wood Coleman Furniture did not mis-represent the product and all of our product descriptions are supplied to us by the manufacturer Customer received a product that is in fact Select Hardwood and veneers and we have attempted to educate the customer on the benefits and different types of wood products used in the manufacturing process Coleman Furniture would not be refunding the customer as the customer received a quality product as properly describedWe would like to extend a refund if customer will accept - as a form of us wanting to give some form of apology that customer isnt completely satisfied with the purchasePlease confirm if this will be acceptable Sharon M [redacted] Coleman Furniture

**complaint is resolved after much hassle and back and forth on my part What I was trying to communicate was their practice of business I do not find satisfactory When initially ordering with Coleman Furniture they make delivery sound like a great thing Not the hassle it turned in to! The delivery company they hired is not professional Their lack of timely communication and missed appointment is what lead to all of this Multiple times delivery company told Coleman they had talked to me I was calling Coleman back to see where we were at in resolving as I could not get an answer at delivery company or a voicemail returned Coleman believed delivery company had communicated with me like they said; they had not Coleman Furniture should take a look at who they have representing their name! Will not do business with them again! [redacted] Coleman Furniture wants to resolve this issue for the customer and understands they are frustrated We have been in contact with the customer and have advised her that we are working with the manufacturer to get this resolved The needed parts for the delivery company to get this resolved are being sent and the customer will not have to do anything except receive delivery of their order We have advised the customer that we will compensate them in the amount of $for the delay in getting their chair The chairs came in a package of and cost the customer $for both so we are already compensating well over 10% for the item that had an issueThe most we would compensate the customer is $ Sharon M [redacted] Coleman Furniture

[redacted] Coleman Furniture attempted a delivery of the customers items on April *, At that time thew customer refused the item stating that the item was damaged The item was returned to the delivery company where it was restored to 100% manufacturer specifications Per the terms and conditions that customers must agree to before they place their order: If a product is found to have damage, and damage is noted on the delivery receipt; we will send a the necessary parts and correct the problem at our expenseRemedies may include, but not limited to repair by a professional furniture repair technician, part replacements, both repair and part replacements, or a full unit replacement, all at no cost to the customer.Customer agrees to allow Coleman Furniture, the manufacturer, and/or our shipping agents the opportunity to remedy the damage or defect issueCustomer agrees to accept the remedy selected by Coleman Furniture, the manufacturer or the Coleman Furniture shipping agentIf customer does not allow Coleman Furniture to send a replacement or repair it and would rather cancel the order then let us remedy the problem, customer will be required to pay a 25% restocking fee and actual shipping chargesThe item was fully restored to manufacturer specifications and customer will not accept delivery Sharon M [redacted] Coleman Furniture

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I do not believe or feel the retailer is attempting to work with me to resolve this First of all, the condition of the furniture at the time of delivery is irrelevant, as I am not disputing the condition at that time My issue is the condition of the furniture after only having it for a few months The items I purchased should have been able to last months, let alone 7, without showing significant signs of wear Had I known how the furniture would have looked after only a few months, I absolutely would not have purchased it Additionally, the repair allowance doesn't even begin to cover the cost of repair Essentially, they are forcing me to pay for the repair at the local cost of $1300, as determined by an independent estimate, in order to get reimbursed a measly $ Spending $to get $back does not make any sense, especially when the replacement leather they have offered to send will likely result in the same issue in a similar time frame I already paid full price for this furniture, I shouldhave to pay for it again! What Coleman Furniture has done is made an “offer” so low, that it would be economically irresponsible for me to accept it This is not attempting to work with a customer Quite frankly, this more closely resembles a [redacted] financial scheme where if I only pay, they promise to make it worth my while In this case, I might end up witha couch that’s fixed (for time being anyway), but ultimately I’ll be left feeling stupid and full of regret, as well as with an empty back account Sincerely, - [redacted]
