Placed an order with this company April **, Was advised order would be shipped around May **, 2016, it is now July *, order still has not arrivedI was contacted by their delivery companies, schedule delivery and proceeded to take hours off of work so that I can be home for the arrival of the furnitureWas informed the day before delivery of the furniture could not be delivered due to errors on their behalf with partsAll I could do was reschedule an appointment for delivery and wait and additional to days for the correct parts to be receivedIn addition to my credit card being charged and refunded on & off each time, the company "thought" the order would be placedThe supervisor informed me should I choose to cancel the order for the furniture, they would charge me for canceling the furniture even though months has elapsed since original order took place

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Although we appreciate Coleman's response, they've stated they will charge us shipping fees should we choose to have the entire sectional replaced This is a blatant discrepancy from their previous response stating they wouldn't charge us shipping fees to replace one sectional piece This new solution is simply unacceptable In our previous communications we've stated that on the day of delivery a bad storm was approaching and the delivery drivers were in a hurry (which was understandable)Furthermore we were never advised that we had the option of rejecting the furniture and what the implications would be if we did so In hindsight, and with the new information we've acquired, if we would have rejected the furniture Coleman would have moved forward with charging restocking and shipping fees which is poor business practice Again this is an issue which we addressed several weeks ago during this Revdex.com process We contacted Coleman LESS THAN two days after delivery, which was the very first chance we had to make contact regarding the issues as we have a newborn babyRegardless of the outcome or path we would have chosen, Coleman is continuing to attempt to charge us fees for issues that should be completely covered either under warranty or good business practice In Coleman's previous response they stated they would replace one sectional piece at no cost to us, with free shipping In this most recent response Coleman is now stating they'll replace the entire sectional but charge shipping fees Why is there now a discrepancy with shipping fees? Why are we, the customer, being penalized for receiving poor quality furniture that should be covered under warranty and/or Coleman's customer satisfaction claim as listed on their website at [redacted] We’ve brought to Coleman’s attention serious warranty and product issues Yet their response to assisting us with these issues is, “as this is outside of policy and procedure,” because we contacted them after delivery So is customer satisfaction only adhered to up to point of delivery? Why are issues after delivery outside of policy and procedure? Why are warranty issues not being addressed? Why are there now discrepancies with shipping fees? Why has Coleman been unable to provide proof they were in contact with Ashley Furniture? Why are photos submitted through this Revdex.com communication being disregarded? At this time, as stated previously, the dispute through Capital One Credit will stand If Coleman Furniture will, 1) replace the entire sectional (minus the ottoman) at no cost to us and no shipping fees, and/or 2) issue a full refund for the sectional (minus the ottoman), then we will drop our dispute through Capital One Credit In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

[redacted] Coleman Furniture understands the customer is upset and frustrated in regards to their order Due to the nature of Furniture we never promise customers a guaranteed delivery date when placing their orders That being said, the customers order is currently at the local delivery company and is able to be delivered to them The customer has advised they want to cancel their order instead of accepting delivery and as such there would be fees that are associated with the cancellation Coleman Furniture will work with the customer to get their item delivered Sharon M [redacted] Coleman Furniture

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I received a follow up call from “Lori ###-###-####” yesterday who I believe is a Customer Service Manager at Coleman Furniture (although Lori did not identify her company in the voice message) Lori states parts have been ordered and to call her once those are received Then the company will arrange for a repair technician to come to my home to get this taken care of I hope the proper parts have been ordered To be clear, these are the needed repairs as I reported to Coleman Furniture via email on (the sofa delivery date): FACING THE SOFA FRONT Three tears in the leather on the back right hand side of the sofaOne tear of the leather on the lower bottom left hand corner of the sofa (found when looking for the serial number label)I will call Lori as instructed once the repair parts are receivedAgain, I will consider my complaint RESOLVED when the repairs are completed to new quality, to my satisfaction (e.g., leather pieces are well matched and repairs are not noticeable) at no cost to me Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: My finance company has filed a dispute with Coleman Furniture on my behalf I just spoke with them today and they told me that Coleman Furniture has until October **, to respond to them about my dispute However, I would like to request additional time to respond to Coleman's email response to me/Revdex.com, dated October 3, since an answer is due from them to my finance company by October **, 2013.Second: I am not owed the amount of $at this point since my purchase was being financed and so far I have only made a down payment of $to Coleman Furniture My monthly payments were stopped once I filed the dispute, so no other payments have yet been made pending the dispute decision However, if Coleman Furniture has been paid the full amount of my loan by my finance company then the balance of the loan is owed to them.Third: I would most likely be agreeable to donating this merchandise to a charity and obtaining a receipt, however, I live in a remote rural area where it is very unlikely that I would be able to locate a charity that will pick up...and I have no resources that will allow me to deliver to themSince nothing was stated about how the furniture would be delivered or picked up I would need to know that Coleman Furniture would arrange and pay for the pickup and delivery to such a charity.I am agreeable to donating the merchandise to a charity provided Coleman Furniture is agreeable to pay for the pickup and delivery to such charity It may be possible that a charity would be willing to pick up the merchandise, however, I have not yet been able to locate one that will pick up in my area In addition, I am in agreement as long as I do not incur any expense and provided I suffer no financial losses to my credit history.If Coleman Furniture does not respond to my finance company by October **, and/or additional time is not allowed for my response, then I would like an email from Coleman Furniture that they are agreeable to my terms for them to pay for pickup, delivery charges to a charity and that I will not incur any further financial expense, nor suffer any repercussions to my credit history Once I receive notification of acceptance of my terms by Coleman Furniture then I will accept their Business response via your Revdex.com email system (unless of course their agreement with my finance company (by October **) is to just pick up the furniture at their expense, dispose of as they wish and release me from any financial or credit losses Sincerely, [redacted]

I did not cancel they simply did not deliver as ordered than tried to put the onus on meWhat kind of bait and switch operation is this and why isn't the Revdex.com investigating these people so that other consumers do not face the same situation? When someone pays for a new three piece sectional and a third party wants you to accept it an inferior product meaning not from the same dye lot it is just not fair business practice and the public should be alerted not to deal with these types of businessesDo I need to address this in a court of law? I would say overall I am please with the service and the pricingI got a call letting me know of the to week delivery time and they explained to me the delivery process and why it takes that longIn short, it's because they are not shipping ups or similar and are having a team set it up in our home that takes longerI was fine with the time frame and was very happy with the delivery and setup providedFurniture we already knew we would live bc we saw it in the store
