Hi, I received the below email from Best Egg explaining why my loan was not approved two (2) weeks ago. The email states there was a change in my credit between the time I was pre-screened and the time I applied for the loan due to current delinquency. On Saturday, August 5th, approximately two (2) weeks after being denied the loan from Best Egg I received in the mail a Pre-Approved loan offer from BEST EGG. In two (2) weeks my credit score has not changed nor has the current delinquency on my credit report. What I believe as stated in my first complaint is that these are mass mailings to obtain personal information under the guise of a "Pre-Approved" loan offer. I would like all my current information removed from Best Egg and their affiliates sites and records. COPY OF BEST EGG EMAIL: Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns I can assure you Best Egg's sole intention of collecting your personal information is to render a credit decision Obtaining a loan, evien when pre-approved, is subject to a satisfactory review of your credit Unfortunately, due to a change in your credit (current delinquency) between the time your information was pre-screened and your application, we were unable to approve the loan I attempted to reach you via phone If you have any questions or would like to discuss this matter further, please don't hesitate to reach out Thank you for your interest in a Best Egg Loan I am hopeful we can meet your financial needs in the future.Regards,

Mr***-Thanks again for sharing your concerns and I can understand how their seems to be a mixed message when you received a second pre-approved loan offer Their can be a delay of up to days from the time of pre-approval to the time the mail is received This delay is caused by the time required to create, print, and mail the offers Your credit did change from the time you were originally pre-screened for an offer and the time you applied Current delinquency precludes the bank from approving a loan and if it were present, a pre-approved offer would not have been mailed I apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused and I have removed you from our calling list going forward I also left you a message with my contact information if you have any further questions Thank you

While I appreciate the commitment to investigate why the check wasn't mailed in an expedited manner, I am still waiting for delivery of the checkIf the check was mailed on Monday, March 14, as asserted by Best Egg, I would have expected to have received it by today Friday, March 18, but I haven'tIt should not take longer than an entire week for the check to be delivered, especially when the standard advertised USPS time is 1-business days

loan from the date the loan proceeds are disbursed until the loan is paid in full, at the fixed annual loan interest rate set forth in paragraph of your loan agreement. Interest is calculated on a daily basis, on the unpaid principal balance, at the interest rate, and for the number of days that balance was unpaid. Best Egg loans are a simple interest obligation, and interest is not charged on unpaid interest. In addition, you also agreed to the terms in the loan agreement stating that you may make any payment early, in whole or in part, without penalty or premium at any time. In regards to the application of payments, all regularly scheduled payments are to be applied first to the payment of returned check or ACH fees, and then to accrued interest, then to outstanding principal, and then to collection and other permitted expenses provided.
