I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I understand that loans made to an individual will be based upon that individual's income.  Therefore, DO NOT ask for household income amounts as this is NOT going to be considered for loan approvals.  Unnecessarily asking for household income amounts is rude and very nosy!!The practices of this business make me very suspicious, especially when they ask loan applicants if their money is directly deposited into their bank account.  If I have a job, then what does it matter to a loan company if I carry a paper paycheck to the bank, or if I have it directly deposited?  I will be watching my accounts and my identity information very closely. Send this message to Best Egg, as they have not provided me with any other means of contact.  This will end my complaint.  Best Egg need not respond - EVER!

than the payoff amount actually owed.  Unfortunately, we will not process a payoff amount that is more than the amount owed.  I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.  According to our records you spoke to a supervisor on 3/11/2016 who set up the correct payoff amount based on the amount that was owed on 3/3/2016 in the amount of $5,987.04.  All interest accrued from 3/3/2016 when the payoff was initiated will be waived.  As of today you no longer owe on your Best Egg loan as long as your payment does not return as insufficient.  Please feel free to contact me directly with any additional questions or concerns using the information I left on your voicemail.  I have tried to contact you several times to discuss with no success.  Thank you!

this resolution is satisfactory to me. 
A supervisor from Marlette Funding who funded the loan granted to me and serviced by Best Egg called me recently.  An apology was made by the supervisor that in fact it was Best Egg's error to automatically deduct the entire monthly amount of $896.27 from my checking account for the December payment, and further agreed that I never authorized such withdrawal.  To make things right, I did receive a full refund of the $896.27 promptly thereafter.  In additiion, due to the error, I received a letter directed to my bank that the NSF checks incurred were not my fault.  Also, as an apology, the supervisor at Marlette Funding sent me a $100 VISA gift card.  I am very pleased with the results, and was assured that this would not happen again.   I thank the Revdex.com and Marlette Funding on behalf of Best Egg for all of your assistance.  This Complaint is now resolved. Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]2, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I do not recall verbally confirming that a soft pull would also include a hard pull from the first rep I spoke with. This was not verbally given until the 2nd rep said that the soft pull will lead to a hard pull. I was also told that the first 2 reps should not have advised that my 2016 income would suffice from a PnL statement (Not a schedule C). If these reps are not authorized to clarify documents that need providing, they should not verify that a PnL statement from 2016 showing current Net would suffice.. It was clearly stated by myself to both reps that I had "Not" filed my 2016 taxes, therefore a schedule C would not be possible. I still insist further investigation leading to the hard pull do to misleading and false intent to state that I was in the fault. These conversations were recorded for these purposes. Best egg should not be pointing the finger back at me when obvious recordings prove that misleading info led to the soft and the hard pull from the first and 2nd reps. I spoke to a supervisor yesterday who stated that these employed reps assumed that PnL was 2016 Schedule C. How is this possible when I clearly stated that 2016 had not been filed. The first rep even said that most self employed don't file at the beginning of the year that the PnL income should be fine. My dispute is still holding to misleading info resulting in the pull.
