As stated in our response, Best Egg offers individual personal loans, thus our credit underwriting primarily relies on individual income We ask for household income to offset certain obligations such as rent or mortgage payments, which can make a difference Due to the individual responsibility for our loans, the applicant must show enough individual income to support the loan payments We ask about direct deposit as it is an indication that the applicant has a valid bank account which can accept ACH deposits which is how we facilitate the loan funding process
