Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation. I spoke with Ms. [redacted] regarding the issue with her GE microwave. Ms. [redacted] has advised GE that she no longer has the microwave or the serial sticker from the unit. GE has already issued her $50 towards the purchase of the unit...

however, with us not being able to receive the microwave nor the serial sticker GE is unable to offer any other type of compensation.

We have completed repair on this consumer's range.

The only way to resolve this is by having a conversation.   I left the consumer a vm on 2/20 asking for her to supply the model and serial numbers for the units so at least I will have something to work with.  I have not received a return call.    I left her another one today with the same request..

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation. GE has spoken with Ms. [redacted]'s regarding her complaint. Please be advised that Ms. [redacted]’s microwave was over ten years old and out of warranty. As a gesture of goodwill GE offered her a $25 goodwill certificate to go towards the purchase of a new GE microwave. However, the certificate was issued for $50 in error and GE did reimburse her the $50 for her new purchase.
