Thank-you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation. On 2/2/16 I proposed a prorated discount to replace the consumer's over 2 year old washer.  I first proposed that he pay only 20% towards a new washer plus tax, delivery/install and haul away of the old.  He wasn't satisfied with that offer.  I then offered a very generous 10% prorate in which he would pay only $61.50 plus $5.38 tax plus $110 for our delivery company to delivery, uninstall his old unit, install the new unit and haul away the old for a grand total of $176.88.  The consumer only wanted to pay no more than $100 total, but agreed to my prorate offer.  The new washer was delivered and installed on 2/5/16.  I have closed the case.  Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance.

They took ONE WEEK to repair refrigerator. Any other repair company would have fixed it in 48 hours. We had to buy food three times per day as we could not keep anything cool. We also had to eat out at restaurants for the same reason. I had a knee replacement so going to the store three times per day caused me to experience excruciating pain. I also could not use my medically prescribed ice packs because they needed to be frozen. Regular ice does not reduce pain and swelling. Since they paid the $250, I would settle this for $950

After it is uncrated, inspected and determined to be in compliance with what GE said it would send, then, and only then would this be a satisfactory resolution.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation. I left a voicemail with Angela Serota today in regards to her refrigerator complaint.  A GE technician deemed her refrigerator as non-repairable.  The consumer agreed to an exchange, but unfortunately we didn’t have her...

same exact model in stock in Hawaii.  A comparable unit was agreed upon and delivered.  The consumer refused the refrigerator due to the different feature package.  We then offered to buy back her unit for the full price she paid.  To do so she is required to cut the unplugged cord to the refrigerator and simply email us a photograph of the cut cord so that we know the unit can no longer be used.  We would also need a copy of her receipt from The [redacted] so we can reimburse her and a copy of the removed serial tag from the unit.  We then can send her a full refund so she can purchase another model of her liking.  I’m certain The [redacted] would be more than happy to deliver the new refrigerator and haul away the defective unit for them.  This is our offer and it is final.   Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance.   [redacted]

refrigerator. After he filed this complaint the dealer has agreed to purchase his GE refrigerator back from him.  He did lose food so I have given him the phone number for our insurance company to help with food loss.

The consumer's microwave was manufactured in May of 2013, then installed and registered in this consumer name in September of 2013.  The unit was past the one year warranty at the time of the disptuted service call.  This is why the consumer was charged. ...

However, as a goodwill gesture I am reversing the service charge the consumer is getting billed for.
