Here is the body of the original email I explaining that there was no issue draining but the machine still failed to complete a wash cycle.: ---My machine is still not working properly fixed.The technician ran the drain test which completed successfully.I told him the machine failed to complete a speed washcycles twice.  He told me: maybe I should try a different cycle.  REALLY?Anyways I tried. Same issue.First picture shows that the machine is in the towel/sheets  cycle.Second picture shows the machine filling upThird picture shows the machine pausingFourth picture shows there is no water at the base of the drain pipe.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer's situation. I have spoken with Mr. [redacted] and apologized for the trouble he's had with his GE refrigerator. Although he mentioned the problem started in warranty, we were not able to justify sending out a part at no charge on a 6 year...

old appliance. We felt that getting the part at a discounted price of $25 (which included shipping and tax) was a fair and reasonable discount for a part that retails for $94. As an additional gesture of good will, I also offered 25% off labor if he chose an authorized GE Factory Service technician to perform the repair.  He declined our offer and will call me back within 30 days if he is interested. I believe the offer to mail her one Agitator Assembly is fair.  She can...

call me back directly to schedule a repairman to install it at no charge to her as long as it's within the one-year warranty.

This is not the answer to my concern.   Their service person agreed there is an issue with this machine.   Service person had no say in GE's response to him.   Service rep did not charge me for visit when he said he would if it was not an GE issue.  That proves it is a GE issue.   I wanted help with this draining issue, how to avoid my floor flooding out, how often to drain, etc....GE would not help me and their executive rep hung up on me.    I still have no answer from them.   They refuse to discuss this.   They told me to contact their president.

Thank-you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation.   A service call was scheduled for the consumer for 3/14/16.  Our consumer relations department waived the consumer's $99.95 home call charge even though the unit was a year and a half outside our 1 year manufacturer's...

warranty.  The technician also discounted the consumer 25% off parts and labor.  Overall we saved the consumer a total of $171.48 on the service call.    Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance.

GE has agreed to replace the wall oven at no charge and Ms. [redacted] has accepted. A replacement wall oven has been ordered.

GE had previously agreed to cover the charge related to an out of warranty service call to inspect and if needed repair the situation described by Ms. [redacted].  Based on the findings of that service call GE is not agreeable to covering the cost of further service on this product.

[redacted] was great. However, I was given no time frame for the unit to fail again. So, does this mean if the unit fails in the next year I will be refunded my full purchase price? OR does it mean more service calls? I was not given any type of extended warranty by the company. Only to call if the issue happens again. My current warranty falls off this month.

The servicer (Non-GE) is working out reimbursement for the parts that were miss- diagnosed.

Our response remains unchanged and we have closed this case.  This consumer’s refrigerator is operating properly.  We have explained multiple times the proper way the measure the temperature in the unit be the consumer is not accepting this and continues to measure the temperature improperly.

GE had need to replace Ms. [redacted]’s refrigerator.  GE did replace the refrigerator with a larger capacity unit that would still fit in the required area of her kitchen.  After delivery of the new unit Ms. [redacted]...

reported that there were 3 differences in shelving between her old and new units.  GE worked with Ms. [redacted] to identify those items and was prepared to send them to her.  Ms. [redacted] then asked to also be compensated in some dollar amount as well.  GE declined to do so.
