The email from the manufacturer was actually stating that the customer was  being difficult and was demanding. It also states that they informed the customer that the order was delayed because they did not have the "CF" which stands for CARBON FIBER. Taken straight from the manufacturers email "We did admit and you can even ask the customer, told him that it’s our fault that CF housings arrived late.". We are not trying to push the blame off on the manufacturer because these things happen occasionally. The customer has continued to call and attempt to drag the manufacturer into the middle of this complaint he has filed and to our knowledge they have not communicate with him. Our relationship with the manufacturer should not be of any concern to the customer. Contrary to the lie that he has told, they were paid otherwise the product would never have been shipped to us. The package was shipped to the customer and we had them reroute the shipment to come to our facility when the customer stated he was going to take legal action and file a credit card dispute. As previously stated, we are unable to refund the customer because he has an ongoing dispute with his credit card and we have provided proof of that. We made every good faith effort to take care of this customer and update him as things progressed and we were continuously met with harsh attitude and repeated threats of legal recourse and chargebacks. I am rejecting this response because: Product was not accurately described on website. If it was in fact "easy-bolt installation", why did I receive rivets, not bolts?  Rivets require drilling. During original transaction, I was told NO drilling would be required.  Website ad said NOTHING about rivets (which require special tools, which is also not mentioned on website). Again, inaccurately described. The part IS also defective, as I have stated multiple times, including on my first correspondence on the day I received the splitter (06/20).  The front point of the splitter does NOT line up with the front point of the bumper of the car.. it is off by 2".  This has been mentioned numerous times, from the day I received the item.As these errors are on the fault of the seller and it's advertising, It is not up to me to pay for shipping for it's return.  If Corvettemods sends me a pre-paid shipping label, and issues me a full refund for the $299.99 (original cost of splitter), I will IMMEDIATELY ship back the splitter, and this matter would be considered closed.

This customer ordered Polished Fuel Rail covers and a Low Profile Perforated Plenum cover. The customer received the Fual Rail covers and installed them on his car. When the reamainder of his order was received he then contacted us and informed us that the Plenum Cover would not fit with the Fual...

Rail covers he had already installed. He contacted the manufacturer of the Plenum Cover, not the Fuel Rail covers and he was told that their products are made to be used on factory products or with their Fuel Rail covers only. We informed the customer that we were unable to take the Fual Rail Covers back becuase they were already installed and used. We offered to take back the Plenum cover and waive the 20% restocking fee and shipping charges on the item and the customer declined that offer. He feels that we should have known or informed him that the items would not work togther. We have customers that order several parts at a time because they have more than one Corvette. There is no way that we are able to comb through every order that comes in to double check the items that are ordered and contact each customer to make sure they ordered correctly. Our order system is automated and we do not check on orders unless there is an error code generated. We have sales reps availabel M-F 9-6 to answer any questions a customer may have. We regret that the customer is unable to use both items he ordered and as previously stated, we are willing to accept back the new/unused item, the Plenum Cover, and waive any applicable fees. We feel that we have made every good faith effort to assist this customer. We simply cannot take back a used item.Thank you,[redacted]Operations Manager

We did not go to any lengths to try and charge the customer shipping. We never given an oppurtunity to negotiate with the customer because he did not fill out the RMA Request. We do not have any additional call recordings for this customer and if we did we would gladly send them to you. The customer was informed of the procedure for returning an item and he refused to take the necessary steps to get the return processed. We are in no way at fault for the customer choosing to file a credit card dispute and forcing us to deal with AMEX directly instead of being able to directly negotiating with the customer. The customer placed this order over the phone and requested to pay with PayPal. We sent him a PayPal invoice listing the selections for him to review. The customer did not contact us to inform us of any discrepancies and he accepted the invoice and paid it. He was shipped the item based on his...

selections. We have it clearly listed in our Terms and Conditions that custom painted parts are not returnable. The customer opened a dispute with PayPal when he was informed that we were unable to authorize the return. When we received notification of the dispute we promptly cancelled his outstanding order for the spoiler to protect the company against further loss. The customer has been refunded for the spoiler order. We have followed our policies and procedures on this order and we request that this complaint be closed. [redacted] has committed a fraudulent credit card dispute against Corvette Mods LLC. He has left our staff threatening messages, harassed our customer service members and has threatened everything possible to date. Corvette Mods is in possession of signed tracking notices from the...

All were received and signed for although he claims otherwise. We will not debate the legitimacy of his collections actions on a public forum, however he was advised what action we would take should the merchandise not be paid for. We have gone forward with that action. Per the advice of Corvette Mods legal counsel, we have been advised to not respond to any further communications with this individual. We have also reported his threats to local law enforcement and have turned over all harassing documents and voicemail's.Any further responses to his claims against us with the Revdex.com will be responded to with the same content in the message above.

[redacted] You have also spoken to the wheel supplier, and they state contrary. Our customer service team are not techs, they have no idea if a wheel meets specs. Again, we have spent a good deal of time trying to resolve this for you as well as multiple shipments on our account trying to resolve. We would appreciate you allowing us the opportunity to correct the issue before submitting a complaint. [redacted] has advised that she has reached out to you multiple times to discuss the new wheel being sent. We have left you multiple messages and emails, PLEASE return our call so we can help you. Thank you

I have not personally spoken to the customer however as the Operations Manager I am aware of any and all customer issues and have access to all files, recordings and emails. We are not able to refund the customer the diffrence in what he paid Corvette Mods and what he sold them for on EBAY. We offered the customer a discount on a new set of Fuel Rail covers from American Car Craft that would be compatible with the Plenum cover he has and he declined. We have attempted to assist this customer in every reasonable way and all efforts have been rejected. What the customer is requesting is not at all reasonable and we are unable to grant his request. The offer for a discount on a new set of Fuel Rail covers still stands as does the offer to return the Plenum cover in NEW/UNUSED condition with all protective film still intact and we will not charge the 20% restocking fee or original shipping. Thank you,[redacted]Operations Manager

In the recording "Call 5" you can here a person that identifies herself as [redacted] state she has been apprised of the discussion I just had with [redacted] I ask her if [redacted] made her aware that AMEX advised me not to fill out their online RMA form. No where in the previous recordings provided can you hear me review any discussion with AMEX with [redacted] In "Call 4" you hear me say I will call AMEX but I never reference any instructions given to me by them. Clearly there is a conversation with [redacted] that has been omitted.I would also like to point out that the entire recorded conversation I had with [redacted] in "Call 4" lasted 0.01:49. In the "Call Record" provided by Mr. [redacted] this call is listed as lasting 0.02:09, the recording time and log time don't match. There is also a "missed call" that lasted 0.01:28. How does a missed call last almost a minute and a half?I maintain that the recordings of the calls I had with Corvette Mods have not been provided in their entirety and, that during the conversation I had with "[redacted]" I was in fact informed that the parts had been shipped by mistake. The data provided by Mr [redacted] has been manipulated and is incomplete.We have no other call recording for this customer within the last 60 days. As you will see on the call records in the attachment, we have 5 call recordings for this [redacted] phone number and we previously send you those 5 call recordings. We have no calls from the evening phone number that the customer provided you. We are not hiding anything from the Revdex.com and will reiterate that we did not ship the item to customer by mistake. We request that this complaint be closed as the customer has already filed the case with his credit card company and has tied our hands on being able to assit him any further.

Your allegations are untrue and unfounded. Again, we've confirmed with our supplier that the correct one was shipped based on your order. We've gone back and listened to your call to our sales adviser and the part you requested was sent. We have already refunded you in full promptly upon return. Therefore, we are not liable for any further compensation that you believe you are due.

Our shop is located in Texas, where was this sent to?

We no longer offer the other material.  Please package up the current product and return for a refund.

As of right now we are still not able to issue the refund. Attached is a screen shot of the message we receive when we access the transaction. As soon as it has been cleared we will issue the refund.

I am rejecting this response because: On 1/30/2017 I received a message from Corvette Mods  They were willing to extend to me a store credit for the value of one of my purchasesto show goodwill on their part.If I agreed they would have their customer service team issue the voucher ASAP. I agreed and to date that has not happenednor was I able to get any response from customer service.Please reopen this case.

I have to respond within 8 days or this will be closed and I still have no credit to my credit card. The only credit I have is from the credit card company because I disputed the charge. The company claims they issued a refund before this claim was filed and can take up to 10 days. I filed on 3/23 which means if they are truthful, they issued a credit on or before 3/22. I will not let this complaint close until they have fulfilled their agreement. When and if, the credit is processed I still don't think this case should be erased from their history. They are a terrible company to deal with and other buyers should be made aware of their practices. This order is from January 30th! This company won't take action until action is taken against them, go read their reviews on other sites.

It was I who sent [redacted] and [redacted] of Corvette Mods pictures of my engine and a diagram of where the caps go.  There was a lot of confusion as to where and how many caps are in a the set.  I have emails to prove this.    I guarantee I did not throw the cap out.  I was so excited to receive the package, I made sure I went through each wrapped part.   I've never written to the Revdex.com.    I really have a lot of better things to do with my life over a $40 cap but it's the point of the matter. [redacted], [redacted] and Eric with Corvette Mods do nothing to make customers happy and satisfied.  They are dishonest and unfair and will debit unauthorized charges on your credit card. This is a prime example of the customer service received from Corvette Mods.  All of this over $40.00?.  I spent over $300.00 for the cap set and had planned on spending plenty more on future orders but not now.

Yes, that is me on the recording. Yes I was aggravated with them after dealing with them for 3 weeks on this issue. They stole money from me with the restocking fee and charging me for shipping when it was originally "free". Remember one thing Corvette mods, The Fortworth Revdex.com has a file on you and not on me! I will not close this dispute unless refunded completely. Let this be a part of your business history.

corvette mob is just as I said crooks and they don't wish to except the fact a 7133 is not a 6627 and they can't make the fact go away so now they don't want to respond  and the key point they don't want to pay the money they owe  thanks for trying to help but they are crooks and should get negative mark for this shameful display of business action

I have attached a copy of the web page it is confusing at best, it clearly states shift knob options? but the representative states there is only one knob that will fit. this is ridiculous, which one is it?
