Contacted the member today and after discussing and reviewing everything involved we are going to take care of the promotional price match on the Lonovo item the member mentioned and he will be not be blocked from shopping on Costco.com for electronicsThe member was happy and is going to contact me directly if he has any further questions or concerns

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The concierge is walking me through items that I have already done When I spoke to them back in January 2017, they were extremely rude and stated that they put this policy in place to save money, also so that they can push it off on the manufacture and refer you out to them and then the vendor and then the vendor refers you to the concierge A continuous circle to waste the buyers time for an item that was defective upon purchase I purchased from Costco believing they stood by their products and accepted returns when the item was defective; however, that is a policy Costco no longer wishes to honor I will not be purchasing electronics from Costco ever again As I stated before, anything other then a full refund is a waste of my time I am a consultant and charge $250/hour If Costco is willing to pay for my wasted time, which is valuable and Costco doesn't seem to value my money or time, then I would be happy to waste hours on the phone with a person who is walking through a protocol list with no actual knowledge outside of their written script Sincerely, [redacted]

Please see the attached service ticketWe spoke with [redacted] and *** on September 8th regarding their concerns with having to replace faucets and a green residue During the service visit, the system was tested and found to be working correctly and no evidence of any issues with the faucets The vendor recommended replacing the filters, but it is not required There is no reason to authorize a refund as there is no issue with the system

It was Costco's understanding the manufacturer refunded Mr [redacted] in full for his purchase Upon receiving his response, we asked the manufacturer to refund him any difference, including sales tax, between what he paid and what he has received as a refund.Costco apologizes to Mr [redacted] for any inconvenience he encountered from contacting Costco directly regarding the recallCostco typically relies on its suppliers for all recall-related mattersAlthough we realize the recalled product was not exclusive to Costco, we will address the supplier's handling processes with the supplier to avoid any recurring similar inconveniences

Here is a copy of the law...Can a liquor store or grocery store take returns of unwanted purchases? Off-premises licensees, such as liquor stores and grocery stores, may, at their discretion, exchange unopened returns from their customers.I have already called the member back to review the law and issued him a gift card for his purchase.Cheryll

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: A copy of the quote from [redacted] was scanned and emailed It specifically states; "Multiple stains on passenger side front seat and drive rside front seat Driver side front seat cushion looks damaged and fabric is not sitting correctly on cushion Advised customer we can perform interior detail to try and remove stains, but there is no guarantee they will come out Recommend driver side front bottom seat cushion being replaced" That statement contradicts Costco statement on the severity of the soiling Yes the standard practice is to place plastic on the seat However, I kept the plastic and it barely covers the whole seat As you slide in to the vehicle, the plastic moves to the side There on the edge is where the damage is along with the dirt wrinkles to validate it Rejecting the claim is unacceptable I am willing to get the car cleaned at Costco's expense However, If I am not satisfied, I expect any and all fabric/cushions/headrests to be replaced as necessary to restore the vehicle to the condition it was in before I went to the tire center Per the recommendation of the expert at [redacted] , there is no guarantee due to the fabric material and pattern Is Costco willing to do that? Allowing dirty technicians to hang out in a customer vehicle is unacceptable Any and all damages should compensated for by the party responsible I will not accept having my vehicle left in a damaged or worn condition due to undisciplined technicians and a lack of management Sincerely, [redacted] ***
