Creative Smiles Dental Reviews (2759)

The website was removed from GoDaddy on January 7, 2017. There is no website to charge for hosting. I received an email from GoDaddy that said sorry to see you go. I should not have to pay for a website that is not even there. You must make an exception to your 48 hour rule. I did not look for that because the website was gone from GoDaddy. There was no reason to go sign in if the website had been moved. They should have sent an email saying that I had 48 hours to sign in and cancel when the website was moved. This is nothing but an underhanded sneaky way to get another payment for hosting.

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer’s additional concerns. Our office has since connected with our customer and assisted with accessing their GoDaddy account. Again, at no time did GoDaddy hinder or prevent our customer from accessing their account and managing the products within; account management is a customer responsibility. Our customer’s Website Builder service expired June 21, 2017 and will require renewal to avoid cancellation due to non-payment. GoDaddy’s Customer Care team is available should our customer require assistance with renewing a service, or any other aspect of their account.Thank you again for the opportunity to address the additional concerns presented by our customer.Kindest regards,Gary H[redacted]Office of the CEO - GoDaddy

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer’s additional concerns. To be clear, there is no issue with GoDaddy's Workspace Email services, contrary to our customer's belief.  Again, customers should not be utilizing GoDaddy's email services as an archive, and agree to such when agreeing to the Workspace Service Agreement.  GoDaddy customers agree to maintain independent copies of their data.Additionally, our customer also agreed to GoDaddy's terms of service upon doing business with GoDaddy, including explicitly agreeing to our terms via phone calls where purchases were made with our Customer Care Team's assistance.Furthermore, the email product is sold in periods of years, and as such, the unused year our customer had not used was refunded as In-Store Credit, in exception to our Refund Policy.GoDaddy is unable to provide any further courtesies to our customer.  Thank you again for the opportunity to address the additional concerns presented by our customer.Kindest regards,Mike L[redacted]Office of the CEO – GoDaddy

Dear Dispute Resolution Consultant,Thank you for the opportunity to address and bring clarity to the concerns presented by the complainant. We have reviewed this matter and would like to present the following.Prior to the purchase of products and services, the complainant acknowledged the following...

agreements:• Universal Terms of Service AgreementThe latest version of this agreement and other legal agreements may be found at[redacted]On July 17 2014, the complainant renewed a domain name for a one-year term and also added a Standard Search Engine Visibility product to the order for a one-year term via an online transaction.During the domain renewal process for the domain name, it appears the complainant was presented with an offer for our Search Engine Visibility at a discounted rate. Typically, it is offered for $35.88 a year. This would not automatically be added to the cart and would have to be manually added to the order by the complainant.  The complainant was able to review their shopping cart prior to completing the transaction. Furthermore, an order confirmation was sent to the complainant following the transaction which contained details of their purchase.RESOLUTION:GoDaddy has upheld its agreements in good faith with the complainant and honored its terms of service. We have ensured the auto-renewal preference for the Search Engine Visibility service has been disabled, preventing this service from automatically renewing upon expiration. Account management is a customer responsibility. As a gesture of goodwill and one-time exception to our refund policy, we have refunded the original charge for the Search Engine Visibility service back to the complainant as an In-Store Credit. They may use this credit towards any future purchases with GoDaddy.EDUCATION:The complainant may find the following article helpful:Refund Policy: [redacted]Thank you again for the opportunity to address and bring clarity to the concerns presented by the complainant.Kindest Regards,Ken C[redacted]Office of the CEO – GoDaddy[redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Greetings. In response to the supposed resolution submitted by godaddy.com, I would like to say that I am not in acceptance of it. I was never informed that I would have to pay $70.00 on top of the cost for the domain. I was led to believe that I would be paying about $13.00 per year for my website. For example, below is an advertisement straight off of the godaddy websit. The hosting is not free and that is what was NOT disclosed to me last year when I joined. False advertising and intentionally misleading the public is wrong. Now I have paid the yearly fee for my domain, as I thought I would have to, but NOW I have to keep paying for the website builder because it includes the "hosting"...and I was never informed I would have to do that to keep my website accessible by others. I have already paid the domain fee as I was told I would have to do every year. I no longer need the website builder as my site is made. I was led to believe all I would need to pay for every year is the domain for my site to remain functional. The original agreement made with me by godaddy.com has not been honored. I am being charged fees that were never disclosed. Regards,[redacted]

Thank you for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer. We would like to present the following:Our customer acknowledged and agreed to GoDaddy's agreements upon conducting business with GoDaddy. The latest version of these agreements can be found at:...

https://www.godaddy.com/legal-agreements.aspx On April 16, 2015, our customer purchased a domain name via online transaction as part of an expired domain auction.  During the typical domain expiration life-cycle, a domain that has expired and has not been renewed may be placed as part of an “Expired Domain Auction” on GoDaddy’s auction site. Domains purchased in an expired domain auction require the auction bid, plus cost of a one year domain registration renewal be paid after winning the auction.  This renewal is for a one year term from the end of the domain name’s previous registration period, as outlined in the GoDaddy Auctions Membership Agreement our customer acknowledged and agreed to. RESOLUTION:GoDaddy upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service. Our customer was provided with the 1 year registration term agreed to, and as such we are unable to honor their request for a refund or an extension of the domain’s registration at no charge. If our customer wishes to maintain this domain name’s registration, they will need to act in a timely manner, as the domain name in question has reached a redemption status.  As a one-time exception and gesture of goodwill, GoDaddy is willing to waive the $80 redemption fee normally associated with a domain in this status.  Our customer may contact our 24/7 Customer Consultation and Care team directly at ###-###-#### to take advantage of this offer.Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer.Kindest regards,Mike L[redacted]Office of the CEO - GoDaddy

Dear Dispute Resolution Consultant,Thank you for the opportunity to address and bring clarity to the additional concerns presented by the complainant. We have reviewed this matter and would like to present the following. On February 13, 2015 the refund in question was submitted to the payment method associated with their original transaction. GoDaddy has confirmed this payment and provided the complainant with the ARN (Acquirer's Reference Number) associated with this transaction. In addition, GoDaddy’s payment processing teams have reviewed the transaction and confirmed that the complainant’s financial institution has not rejected these funds. The complainant may wish to contact their financial institution to inquire about these funds. Thank you again for the opportunity to address and bring clarity to the additional concerns presented by the complainant.Best Regards,[redacted]Office of the CEO - GoDaddy[redacted]@GoDaddy.comGoDaddy.com[redacted]Scottsdale, AZ 85260

It is annoying and a mockery that the person who answered on behalf of godaddy pretends just like his company to accept developments and designs garbage without revision, without corrections, without quality control, invade accounts that are not where they make purchases, say they honor The agreements and put useless certificates outside the account where the purchase was made, a total deception.Six months after the purchase, they neither deliver the designs for which they were paid nor the certificates nor do the money back, nothing at all, a robbery with all the letters. It is clear that they will not deliver, they will not return the payment nor deliver the certificates and wait until the time of purchase expires for yet more washing hands and get rid of an uncomfortable customer that only demanded from the beginning was fulfilled. For this situation I ask your help to cancel the contract and return the money because they do not meet and do not honor the agreement, they are a fraud.Perhaps with this they become the offended and do not want to give back the money, nor deliver for what they are paid nor the certificates that they offered which would not surprise me.I really hope they help me and do not let these thugs get away with it.Best regards.

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer's concerns. Upon conducting business with GoDaddy, our customer acknowledged and accepted our agreements, found at https://www.godaddy.com/legal-agreements.aspx. On April 7, 2016 a validated third party, not our customer, contacted our 24/7...

customer care teams to discuss the change from the Website Builder plan they had purchased on January 7, 2016 to a Wordpress Hosting plan. The caller purchased the new hosting plan for a five year term and was informed they had a remaining credit on the account for future use. No other products or services were discussed during that call. RESOLUTION: GoDaddy upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service. Contrary to our customer’s understanding, no questions pertaining to a domain name were asked during the call. Domain names and hosting products are separate products and may bill individually. If our customer wishes to maintain ownership of their domain name, it will need to be renewed before or on its expiration date of November 29, 2016. Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer. Kindest regards, Terri H[redacted] Office of the CEO - GoDaddy

conducting business with GoDaddy.  The latest version of this agreement can be found at: [redacted]On May 27, 2015 the complainant contacted our 24/7 Customer Care teams via phone to inquire about a recent charge they had received from GoDaddy.  GoDaddy takes account security very seriously and is unable to disclose account specific information, such as product billing details, without proper account validation. Dear Dispute Resolution Consultant,Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. On December 11, 2014, the...

complainant reached out to GoDaddy support teams regarding an infringement notice involving the domain in question. At this time, the complainant indicated the account and domain were created fraudulently using their credentials. business with GoDaddy:• GoDaddy Universal Terms of Service Agreement• GoDaddy Domain Registration AgreementThe latest version of these agreements can be found at: https://www.godaddy.com/legal-agreements.aspxThe complainant contacted GoDaddy’s online chat support teams on August 25 2015, to inquire purchasing a domain name with a discount they were presented on the GoDaddy website. The complainant was informed that the offer in question is for the first year registration at a discount with each subsequent year at normal price. The complainant is a Domain Discount Club member which automatically provides a discounted rate by paying a yearly fee.GoDaddy provides promotional offers to our customers which include an expiration date and limitations. We will honor any valid promotional offers that our customers receive from GoDaddy. The offer must be entered prior to completing the transaction. Furthermore, GoDaddy has no control over any third party websites offering discount codes that may have already expired. If a valid offer is utilized, our cart will adjust the price accordingly in conjunction with any existing discounts the complainant may already receive to provide them the best price possible. Additionally, some discounts have specific limitations that do not allow them to stack on top other discounts a customer may already be receiving.RESOLUTION:GoDaddy has upheld its agreements in good faith with the complainant and honored its terms of service. It is a standard business practice for companies to offer promotions with conditions. The complainants desire to use multiple discounts for a single purchase is not a cost that GoDaddy can absorb. However, as a goodwill gesture, we have refunded $5.25 back to the complainant for their recent domain purchase.EDUCATION:What is Discount Domain Club? - https://www.godaddy.com/help/what-is-discount-domain-club-2398Thank you again for the opportunity to address and bring clarity to the concerns presented by the complainant.Best Regards,[redacted]Office of the CEO - GoDaddy

I used to have access to change these records as will be noticed by looking at 148 of 150 zones. This function was removed with me being notified. Sales (the phone reps) do not understand dns and will not put me in touch with a tech that can change this for me. The address in the zone record is not monitored as evidenced by the lack of response when emails are sent to it. The responsible part email in the record is part of the rfc [redacted]

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer’s additional concerns. As stated previously, our customer did purchase 10 total years of Website Builder.  Additionally, free email credits are no longer offered with Website Builder purchases or renewals, and as such, our customer will need to purchase any additional email boxes they may require.  Again, we would recommend that our customer review the original offerings by visiting archival sites such as Archive.org.Thank you again for the opportunity to address the additional concerns presented by our customer.Kindest regards,Mike L[redacted]Office of the CEO - GoDaddy

GoDaddy confirmed exactly the basis of my complaint; however, omitted the pivotal fact that when I called them 04/18/2015 to request a refund for the automatically billed fee for the Website Builder product, I also instructed the female representative to CLOSE my account since I discontinued the buisiness. I was never advised as to the form required to close-out the account Until April 2016.  GoDaddy's record of my call 04/18/2015 surely must contain my direction to close the account at that time.  If I was closing the Website Builder product 04/18/2015, there would have been no need for the remaining products... the buisiness was no longer in existence.  I continue to ask your assistance to hold GoDaddy accountable for refunding the $30.34 balance due.  Thank you kindly.
