CyberPowerPC Reviews (159)

"Run do not walk away from this company, $1400 PC arrived damaged (broken foot and dented case) with no damage to the packing, translation is they shipped a dented system. My son did not want to give up his hard earned PC so the company offered us $10 to keep the damaged PC, yes $10! Sent back for RMA and it took 3 weeks for them to ship back out the PC, the PC arrived with another broken foot, the cheap emblem on the front pealing off, this is a cheaply made case! Cyberpower also wiped the hard drive (they said they had our permission although they never even asked) paid software that had been loaded was wiped out."

CyberPower helped me through out the entire process of ordering my computer. Keeping me updated and even giving a helping had in times that I changed my mind about certain parts. The company is very efficient and helpful with their customers and I will make sure to recommend CyberPower to anyone looking to jump into the custom PC build world

I bought a PC from CyberPowerPC and am very glad I did. I was able to customize the PC to my liking and at a fair price! It didn't contain any bloatware and only came with the software I asked for. It was ordered, built, shipped and arrived all within a week and a half. I will buy from CyberPowerPC again.

Great company to buy computers from, for those who aren't satisfied with the computers you get off the shelf from places like [redacted] Mainly for gamers who need a higher end computer. I've bought a gaming desktop and laptop from these guys, and so far, I've been satisfied. The price is about the same (or cheaper if you wait for deals) than you would get if you bought each individual piece alone. Buying from them saves you time, and money, and tech support if you ever need it. The only reason I'm not giving a perfect 10 for this review is because the case for my desktop was slightly damaged during shipping. The size of my desktop was pretty large, so I can't really blame them. It doesn't impact performance in the slightest, either.

Great prices and fantastic customer service. My Vapor-X was built to beyond expectation, at a much lwoer cost than with [redacted] or any of the other companies I was researching to get a new high-end computer made.
Even when they hit a snag with a configuration because of a hard drive I'd asked to have installed being too big, they called within an hour of noticing, offered me a detailed explanation of possible changes, and not only swapped it out, but gave me a free video card upgrade to offset the cost of the SSD downgrade, even taking a few dollar loss on it.

Very happy with the service and product, and would gladly recommend to anyone I know that's in the market for computer parts or and entire new machine!

I placed an order on November 26th for two devices during their black Friday weekend sales. The account manager, Danny [redacted], contacted me on the date of submission to provide the first step of the process, 24 hours after submitting the order.

On December 9th, I was reached out again by Danny [redacted] to be notified that one of the pieces of the laptop I was purchasing was out of stock, my options were to pay an additional $100 for another piece. When I asked this representative for a reason why they were advertised if they were not planned to be kept in stock or replenished all I got was a non-answer "you can get the order as offered or you can cancel it". I asked the representative to fulfill the order and charge the additional charges IF the shipping time (December 10th) would still be completed. He said it would ship under the right timeframe.

On December 10th I received a notice and invoice for one of the laptops. I reached to the representative for a third time through December 8th and December 11th to get a status update of the second laptop. As it surprised me that there was no invoice for this one. All I got was a response stating that the laptops were "on their way".

Today I receive notice that the second laptop is just now being processed. 20 days after the order was placed, 5 days past their expected fulfillment date. No other explanation was provided other than "You can cancel the order if you don't want it anymore".

This practice, of making an offer in black Friday and then bait and switching a customer to force them to pay more for "upgraded" pieces or to fulfill their own delivery times they have missed is completely ridiculous. I will keep my order as being so close to the holidays I have no other choice. But I will never buy anything from this seller again.

I never thought that buying a computer from this company was going to be the best experience I would ever have. Customizing my computer was easy, and the sale rep. Was very helpful and understanding. I'm glad I'm able to select my hardware the way I want it. I would definitely recommend buying a custom computer as this is cheaper and more convenient if u don't have the time to build you computer. Judging from the other reviews I didn't have the same experience and negativity, but I'm just happy that I made the right choice and that Cyberpowerpc is there to help me.

The purchase through Cyberpowerpc went pretty smoothly. The only area for improvement I offer is improvement in communications. There was a slight delay in production that I should have known about sooner. Otherwise I would recommend this as a premier place to make your computer purchase.

The equipment arrived in very good packaging and was perfect right out of the box. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and have had no issues and expect none.

I had a very negative experience. I ordered on 11/27 and was told I would have it by 12/14. I needed it by 12/21 as it was a combo birthday Christmas gift. I got an email that it would not be delivered until between 2-6 Christmas Eve. We are leaving at 2:45 to go out of town. We called UPS to ask to pick it up their with photo ID since you have to sign for it. UPS sId This company does not allow that. I called them since this is the only gift my child is getting and now he is getting nothing for his birthday or Christmas. They refused to help. They told me my son should be grateful he gets anything!!!! Worst customer service ever. Never deliver on time!

All I was looking for was a place to buy a Gaming Class PC. What I found was so much more. CyberPowerPC made the experience fun. Allowing me to custom spec every aspect of the machine I wanted, and managing accessories and prices as I saw fit. Once I ordered, I was amazed at the level of customer service, seeing the process every step of the way. And the delivery was fast and well communicated. Finally they threw in a bunch of freebies with the order. I enjoyed everything in my experience with this business.

I recently ordered my second computer from CyberPowerPC to replace my 4 year old computer from the same company. Their website is easy to use, has many hardware and peripheral options to choose from, and allows you to experiment with different configurations. The forum is active and helpful, with many people willing and able to take a look at your proposed build and suggest improvements. The ordering process was easy, the computer build and shipping went flawlessly, and the computer that arrived is high quality and FAST.

I had one minor issue with a fan in my case, and the tech support people were friendly and VERY helpful. They resolved my issue quickly and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend ordering from Cyberpowerpc. The prices are great, and I'm really enjoying my computer. I will definitely use this company for a third time when the time comes around again.

I have purchased Cyberpower PCs in the past (as well as other brands), with varying degrees of satisfaction, but Cyberpower has always done right by me. When my first had a power failure, they instantly offered a shipping label and repair. My husband's Cyberpower machine has endured abuse without issue. Recently, I purchased a Configurator (custom build), and the deal that I got was better than anything that I could have built on my own for the price and specs. I even downgraded the case, expecting something shoddy and plastic, but it actually turned out to be metal and attractive. I was able to load an OS on to the machine in record time, and after necessary updates, was playing graphically intense games the same night with no crashes or graphical hitches (one example, [redacted] which is notorious for being un-optimized and hard on PCs). I've never had a setup go so smoothly. It's been years since I've been able to keep up with new games, and now (even with a "budget" video card), I'm finally back to enjoying them. The great drawback to this company is that they do take a long time to ship if ordered directly from the site. They also apparently sell their machines through stores that are known for adding "bloat ware" (unnecessary software), so buying straight off of the shelf of a retail store may be as frustrating to new users as just simply waiting out the 3+ week shipping from the website. Finally, to obviously keep costs low, they do use cheap peripherals by default (you can upgrade) - they don't even hide this fact on the site, so many people who have badly reviewed this company have probably chosen to gloss over that fact until something bad actually happens. Despite all of the venom pointed at Cyberpower through harsh reviews (I probably read every single one of them during that 3 week wait), like any other big purchase, the end product is worth a little research and patience. For affordable gaming PCs, there is currently no comparison.

My personal experience of ordering a system through CyberPowerPC was overall great. I have a limited knowledge of internal computer components; however, CyberPower's website made to process easier then expected.

I have only one concern regarding reconnecting the cooing fan's wire. I did try reaching out by calling the help desk but I was unable to reach a staff member.

CyberPower was recommended to me by a friend and I would do the same.

I ordered a gaming laptop from the recommendation of my clients and friends. I was evaluating Cyberpowerpc against the build from MSI through a resales company IBUYPOWER. I figured my clients and friends recommendation were solid. I now have to inform then of this experience.... Here is the email train I received from Cyberpowerpc.

11/26/2016: Order status notification emailed (order received)

So I called and corrected the direct ship to my son and had it sent to me and I would reship it to my son. I checked daily for an update and there was non the next week. I had to call and I had confirmed the laptop was in process and would be shipped to my home.

I checked on 12/10 on my status and it then stated expected ship date 12/10 in the AM and then back to 12/9 in the PM.

I checked the status on 12/13 and it said expected ship date on 12/9 so I called and was told that they were a week behind, so I complained about no updates online and the representative said "we can cancel the order". I was so pissed I agreed to cancel while in the kitchen and by the time I got to my computer in 2 minutes I got this.

I was even more pissed so I called to complain to a manager and the person who answered said he was the manager and he already talked to me. I asked for a complaint department. He told me to go online and hung up. I got back from the kitchen and got this email....

Good customer service, fast shipping, and overall awesome computer. The website is easy to access and modify your order. Everything can be modified to preference relatively easily with the website showing you how your options effect the overall price as you make them. The seasonal coupon deals and specials make it all the more worth it.

My experience with cyberpowerpc has been good. I would highly recommend friend to check it if they are in ever need of PC gaming gear.

The product was delivered on time and in healthy condition. Shortly after running my PC for the first time and updating drivers, my system crashed. After calling CyberPower the tech support quickly identified what the issue was and has ever since been running excellently. I could not be happier with the reasonable pricing and quality product with the added bonus of customer support that is very effective. already recommended multiple times.

I have ordered a new PC from CyberPowerPC (CPPC) four times in the past six years (3 desktops, 1 laptop), and each one was simply great.

One of the best features of CPPC is the level of customization available to you. There are dozens (if not hundreds) of options to choose from to build your own PC the way you want it.

Their pricing is extremely competitive. My $1,500 PC would have cost $800 more from a "name brand" outfit, if they could even build it with the same quality of components.

CPPC's service is also great. One item on this last PC was backordered, and they offered me an upgrade to a better model, free of charge.

I will only consider CPPC for my future purchases.

Excellent customer service. Order was shipped on time and there were no issues. Once computer was received everything was there and there were no issues with setting the computer up. I would recommend CyberPower PC to anyone who would like to purchase a computer. I had an excellent experience...
