CyberPowerPC Reviews (159)

After a year of having my fangbook laptop, the hinge broke and the laptop began to seperate in the corner. I filed with visa's extended warranty program, but my claim was denied because cyberpower stayed they wouldn't have covered the damage under the original warranty. Curious, I emailed cyberpower to ask why it wouldn't have been covered. I was told it just wouldn't. When I probed for further information, they told me they wouldn't cover anything involved in an accident. I explained the laptop has not left my desk and that this only happened when I opened the laptop. I was asked to send photos, which I did, and was told it wouldn't have been covered. I still wasn't given a clear explanation why. I asked why the hinge wasn't considered a "part", and received no explanation. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this company and their customer service. I will not buy a another computer from them again.

Review of Customer Order through CYBER POWER PC November 2016 to ...... when ever I finally receive what I payed for. Nothing but the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life or even heard of. Every single person you will email, call, or chat with will be a very rude ignorant person from a country I promise you will barely understand and will never never! answer your questions or concerns. They will have no clue about your order but will ask you every chance they get Would you like a refund?..... No I want what I paid for, I want a little respect and honesty!. From the beginning there has been problems with my order! They were fighting me about everything canceled my 49$ rush production(not shipping....). After which every attempt I made to ask any questions they were never answered but with a stupid response like Hi we are working on your order. That's it! Every time I've asked why I haven't received my Purchase Invoice in my email yet. Did I ever get a answer no they never even acknowledged my question. On the day my order was completed and they finally seeked payment they screwed up the payment with pay pal. Caused a weird security problem with pay pal that caused it to not go from my pay pal/bank payment but moved it to a another card I didn't pay with. PayPal tried to help me all day but could not because Cyber Power had to fix it on their end. So they said they would send Cyber Power a return email with a money request for the same order that would go through my bank. So I called Cyber Power again some very rude far eastern guy who was basically yelling at me when he was talking. He told me he didn't know he cant see the emails that's someone else's job. Also they stated they could not reply to a money request form through pay pal for payment all they could do was resubmit the same which would again go to the wrong card. So after a while he asked me to just pay with my debit card it would be easier. Fine I said once finished he stated he could not help me with anything else or any of my other concerns id have to talk to someone else and that my PC would be shipped within the next 2 days even though the order had been completed the day before this. The next day I could not check my Order Status on their website so I initiated a support chat through their website. Now prepare for a crappy little window and for a wait that says 2 mins but ends up being 20 mins. Then when you do get someone and you complain or ask any questions they will say hi what is your order #. After giving it to them they will transfer you to "Steve" without even telling you!!!!. Then your in another wait line for what says 5 mins but will turn into 20+mins. Also mine closed for no reason and I had to start all over this time with Carlos and even though I SAID DO NOT TRANSFER ME CLOSE CHAT and answer my Questions !!!! once you give him your order# he said please wait. AS soon!! as I said ok I get Transferred to "Steve" again and after 20 mins I finally get "Steve". Who by far is the rudest customer service rep I've ever spoke/type with. He still would not answer any of my questions at all. All he would tell me was my order had started!!! so I got pissed and reminded him it was done 48 hours ago!!! Then he stated there was a problem with my payment the day before. YEAH BECAUSE OF YOU!!!. Then he stated maybe why I can't see my order status on the site anymore is because I changed my payment from pay pal to credit card.... YOU TOLD ME TOO BECAUSE YOU SAID IT WOULD BE EASIER!!!!. so over an hour I got 0 questions answered and I got 1 hello and 1 sorry. Also told they "resumed" my order for like the 100th time!! and that it was now being tested and would be shipped sometime next week............... I feel bad for all their customers. They need to fix their company, customer service, and their webdesign. Considering they are a company in California 1 state away from my. I thought about spending 100$+ to go there and give them a piece of my mind. Me my family friends my company or anyone I ever meet in the future or know on Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn or anywhere else will know my experience and will never never ever deal with them.
The fact a company like this associated with the Revdex.com can post A+ ratings on their website considering all the angry customers they have is very surprising to me. Companies should always strive to be honest and understanding to their customers or face no longer existing.

User friendly website that was easy to navigate in order to create my custom built gaming PC. The customer service provided by Bobby W. was truly outstanding and the computer I ordered came just ahead of the time-frame promised. I had a slight issue with delivery due to it coming early and I hadn't planned on being home to receive the package, but they were great about that too and I was able to pick up my package at the [redacted] facility that very evening. I couldn't have asked for a higher quality product or better customer service.

I ordered a custom gaming PC during the MLK sale this year. After placing my order, I noticed an option that I had over looked. I contacted Cyber Power PC, and communicated with their service tech who was going to build my system for me. He was able to change the options that I wanted changed with no hassle. I am very happy with the service, and price that Cyber Power PC has for their customers. I have recommended them to friends, as it was a friend who pointed me in their direction in the first place. I will be returning when it is time for another computer.

Great customer service and completely satisfied with the product. Works great!!

I ordered a gaming laptop from the recommendation of my clients and friends. I was evaluating Cyberpowerpc against the build from MSI through a resales company IBUYPOWER. I figured my clients and friends recommendation were solid. I now have to inform then of this experience.... Here is the email train I received from Cyberpowerpc.

Here is the email I received after I ordered on 11/26:

11/26/2016: Order status notification emailed (order received)

So I called and corrected the direct ship to my son and had it sent to me and I would reship it to my son. I checked daily for an update and there was non the next week. I had to call and I had confirmed the laptop was in process and would be shipped to my home.

I checked on 12/10 on my status and it then stated expected ship date 12/10 in the AM and then back to 12/9 in the PM.

I checked the status on 12/13 and it said expected ship date on 12/9 so I called and was told that they were a week behind, so I complained about no updates online and the representative said "we can cancel the order". I was so pissed I agreed to cancel while in the kitchen and by the time I got to my computer in 2 minutes I got this.

11/26/2016: Order status notification emailed (order rec

I was even more pissed so I called to complain to a manager and the person who answered said he was the manager and he already talked to me. I asked for a complaint department. He told me to go online and hung up. I got back from the kitchen and got this email....

Well first off, ordered 2 systems from them, and I ordered High end Air coolers for cpu. Willis [redacted] worked me very well on a credit card issue [redacted] has a flaky verify system) and with a delay in the air coolers being delivered. This kiled the rush build/delivery I requested but the systems still arrived within the standard delivery time for their company.

Had an issue with the systems in sstreaming video and the tech support was quick to respond thru email, didnt use the phone support so cant comment on that. But they did have helpful suggestions and were quick to respond, both systems worked well out of box, The care to assemble the systems could be seen in the build, cable routing, and packaging for shipment were great. (didnt pay for "Professional cable routing) but it was well done anyway :)

Over all I and my wife are both very pleased with the systems and I will be ordering a laptop from them later this year. Once I have noticed (and this is human nature) if your respectful, reasonable and calm when emailing, or talking to ANYONE you get better results.

I purchased a laptop from CyberPowerPC in mid Febuary, amd even though things did not go as planned I was pleasently suprised by the prompt and extreamly helpful customer service I recieved. I was leaving the country soon after placing my order and paid extra to have the building and shipping rushed. The next day after placing the order I recieved an email telling me of a problem with my order. I unfortunately was unable to recieve my laptop before leaving, but the customer service agent was very helpful and friendly and to my suprise was able to refund my the rush fee and change my order to standard delivery saving me around $100. I have since returned and tried out my new laptop. It is everything I could have hoped for. I am very glad I was able to build off a template to create this laptop. It was very convient for someone who isn't a computer buff, but knows enough to know what he/she wants. Overall amazing customer service and an amazing product. I couldn't be happier.

After receiving my PC and trying to boot it up it would not boot. After opening the computer I found three connections that had become disconnected. These are locking mechanisms and how they could become disconnected is beyond me. Working with their customer service was no real help and they were even rude After reconnecting everything and reloading all the drivers I finally got the PC to work but it has a number of quirks that I have not been able to figure out and their customer support is no help I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The WORST computer buying experience!! Rude employees in person, their call center is a joke too.
1st, they didn't even install what I paid for in my PC, then soon after the cheap WiFi card broke. When it crashed I realized I never had a recovery disk with the OS on it. They wanted $30 and I have to download, print and fax back the forms with my drivers lice we and a bill in my name. Just the worst, everyone I know has had the same experience. Just like on their web page they manipulate reviews constantly. I get ads on my Facebook feed and have been blocked from commenting lol. A joke of a company.

Bought a high-end computer two months ago and have been very satisfied. These are not your mass produced, cookie cutter, computers and you need to know what you want or ask for help when purchasing. The sales folks can guide you and the forum is also helpful. When I had a minor problem with my new unit, the service staff was quick to help. If you want a powerful computer that meets your needs, at a fair price, this is a great company. My experience with them has been very good!

Cyberpower PC was recommended to me by a friend clearly he thought I was his worst enemy! Initially, everything was fineI ordered a high end desktop totalling close to $4,000 with (mostly) all of the bells and whistles. As a physician, I am often required to view high quality imaging from home and require a fairly substantial machine to do such. I had even purchased a 55" 4k monitor to use with the system, which the customer support assured me that it could handle. For a few months, everthing was fine, however abruptly my computer kept crashing on startup and I noticed a blue sticky liquid pooling from underneath my computer, saturating my carpet. When I took the side panel off, the entire interior of my computer was dripping with the liquid coolant dousing the inside of the machine. When I called customer service, I was instructed to return the computerat my expense-while still being a relatively new computer and well within warranty. I trundled the very heavy computer to my car and took it to UPS, who refused to ship iteven though they are the ones that shipped it to me in the first place, worrying that the coolant was a biohazard. After a long go-round with UPS and calling cyberpower they agreed to ship the computer for a sum of $200. A month later I get my computer back with the case completely cracked and unable to power on. I send it back again (this time they at least provided me a voucher). A month or more later I get my computer back and as soon as I open the box I see that the case is even more damaged, all the legs are broken off, and all the CD ROM, Blu Ray, and temp monitor have fallen back and invaginated into the murky depths of my computer. What's worse, the whole bag was filled with the liquid cooling agent. Not even bothering to unpack it, I ship it back a THIRD time. They have had it over a month and a half with no end in sight because a part is on back order. Seriously?? Don't you build computers for a living?? Replace it with one comperable or higher quality like every other place does. [redacted], even grocery stores do this. What is more, customer service tells me that I am now responsible for the cost of my repairs since it'a outside of the one year window. YOU HAVE HAD MY COMPUTER FOR 6 MONTHS!!! How is it my fault your repair service is too incompetent to repair things in a timely fashionlet alone the first time! I've had to purchase another computer in the interim, which I though would be a reasonable stop-gap measure for a few weeks and I've been using it for the past 6 months and my 4k monitor is a cumbersome obstacle on the floor of my office. I cannot explain enough my frustration/anger/rage at the customer service of this manufacturer. Even a masochist could not possible tolerate dealing with this vendor. Even though I swore I would never say it I wish I'd bought a [redacted]

I had a pleasant experience buying my computer from CyberPowerPC.
Throughout the process, they kept me updated with the status. When I had questions, I just had to reply to the email and got help within 24 hours from the same person who also gave me his phone number.
The person would also get back to me within 24 hours when I called him.

I got my computer custom made by CyberPowerPc. It was very simple and they had a lot of options to choose from. I also made an error and the customer service were quick and responsive! I am going to purchase all of my computers and gear here!

I received my second Cyberpower computer yesterday. It is a replacement for the first Cyberpower computer, which is four and a half years old and which is going to a grand kid. The first one came with a DOA graphics card, which Cyberpower replaced immediately. The new one seems fine. No problems so far. I would recommend not just grabbing one of their pre-built machines as they tend to use no-name brand for things like the power supply. Besides which, it's fun picking out what parts you want. The ordering process for both went smoothly and the only real "problem" is the vast array of choices you have for each component. Price is competitive with other brands.

Awesome service, great pricing, also customer support is also super. CyberPowerPC keeps you informed of the status on your build by E-mails at every stage of the build. They also were outstanding in allowing me to make a change in my build when I decided to upgrade to a different Motherboard. They also only load the software needed for the computer to operate. No Bloatware! A outstanding product from an A#1 company!

I purchased a computer from Cyberpower in early February. In little more than 2 weeks I was gaming with my friends. The experience overall was fantastic. Their communication was great, the product exceeded my expectations and I would absolutely recommend Cyberpower if you are looking for a new PC.

I bought a custom computer rig from Cyberpower and both the product and the purchasing experience were excellent. My sales coordinator with Cyberpower kept me updated with the status of my order as it went thru the order to final delivery process. I received emails with accurate information on dates and status and answered all my questions. I have already recommended Cyberpower to friends and co workers with no regrets or concerns.

50 POUND PAPER WEIGHT!!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE!!!
I ordered a full custom pc system from Cyberpower PC to the tune of $2200.00. Everything I'm about to tell you happened within 72 hours of receiving the PAPER WEIGHT PC. So... I receive the computer on Monday morning at 10:00am, I'm so excited that I could finally afford a high end computer that I took off work to receive the delivery. I pull the computer out of the box and no damages, well packaged, then I opened the case to remove the packing foam and noticed the HORRIBLE wiring job, my 5 year old could have done a better job, I was a little upset since I paid additional money for their QUOTE: "Professional Wiring". But this wasn't a deal breaker for me. So I hooked everything up and turned the computer on. Followed the onscreen steps, profile setup etc., Then I get to the product key installation for windows 10. The code sent to me was invalid or previously used, and the recovery disc Cyberpower sent was a FAKE, not genuine windows, just some copy that they burned. So I call Cyberpower... After an hour long wait and after being sent to 3 different deptartments, I speak with Paul in their tech dept. I explain to him that windows is locked and the product key they provided to me is invalid. Paul tells me that's not our problem call Microsoft!!!! Really? I purchased this from you, not Microsoft. After abruptly hanging up the phone I call Microsoft, explain the situation to them, then Microsoft remotely accessed the computer to verify that the product key is invalid. Microsoft tells me that the Retailer "Cyberpower" is responsible for providing the correct code, there is nothing that they can do....At this point I am rather frustrated that Cyberpower will not honor their obligation to provide me with the code that I paid for. At this point I decide that I will never do business with them again, and decide that next paycheck I will just buy another product key directly from Microsoft... So I load up my steam account to the computer and start playing a game... THATS WHEN THINGS WENT SOUTH QUICK... I had the game on medium settings and the screen froze!!!( I7 4790k with Dual GTX 970's sli and 16GB Ram) so I immediately reboot the system and enter the device manager to see that 1 gtx 970- has failed, so unfortunately I immediately had to get back on the phone for another hour long wait to talk to Cyberpowers tech dept again. This time tech tells me no problem, we will CHARGE you for another graphics card, just send the old one in and we will credit you back!!!! Old Graphics Card??? I said this thing is 2 hours old!!!! So like a fool I agreed to the offer and hung up the phone. So I continued to play a less demanding game since the computer was only running on 1 graphics card. 2 or 3 hours go by and then the computer locked up with the BLUE SCREEN of death!!! At this point, I've had enough!!!! I immediately called CyberPower back and told them not to send a graphics card, I explained that between the fact that they ripped me off for Windows product Key, Failed graphics card, and Majorly Defective Computer internals, that I do not want the computer repaired, I want a refund. The technician assured me that if I return the pc that it would be repaired. I told him, NO THANKS, I don't have any confidence in their ablilty to build computers, much less repair them!!! So he transfers me to their RMA return department, another 45 minute wait.... I explain all of the problems to RMA and am assured within 48 hours I will have a return label at my expense!!! So 48 hours go by... no label. I call back, another 30 minute wait, I speak with Mike... explain to him that I haven't received the return label, and ask him to email it while on the phone with him, he refuses too!!! Says he will submit my request to management!!! I said okay, and asked for the managers name that will be contacting me? Mike tells me that he cannot give out that information!!!! Immediately I feel like this is a SCAM, and they are trying to rip me off. I tell Mike Quote: "You can tell your Manager, he can send a return label if he chooses, but I am putting a Stop Payment on this computer.... And I did. To sum it all up, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, JUNK COMPUTERS.. Don't make the same mistakes as I did. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Cyber Power PC offers a good product at a great price. They kept lines of communication open during the build process and delivered the item before the promised date. Shipping tracking information was provided as soon as my build was complete.
