[redacted] showed up right on time. He knew what was wrong with the A/C and he knew what the inspector had looked at and what he had not. Company called me 30 minutes before they were going to be there so I did not have to take a whole afternoon off work.

The D & H Technician, [redacted] was professional, prompt and informative.

On 11/11/15 D&H Air Conditioning installed a new Water Heater, a new Gas Furnace and an Air Conditioning Unit on my roof. Our agreement was negotiated just the day before. The installation appeared to go very smoothly and passed all performance tests upon completion. I am most pleased.

Everything was great up until the final inspection...

The contractors refused to remove a sheet-metal (hood) that opened to the roof from the inside of my closet. Without thinking, they had capped and sealed the iron setting of the sheet metal hood, so removing the vent would cost them more time and materials as they would have to tear a hole in the roof again. Instead of admitting their error, [redacted] claimed it was not part of the original contract and quoted me an extra $400 for the additional labor. I disagreed because the original contract we discussed was for "removing and replacing" the ductwork system, including removing the small vent hood in the closet that was completely accessible to them had they not sealed the roof. They suggested I remove the unit myself if I didn't want to pay, but because they sealed and capped the original vent hood, so I thought removing the unit myself was unreasonable.

In the end I said I would deduct $400 from the original total for not completing their contract. They quickly changed their minds and sent a contractor who cut the vent with a saw to remove it from the inside. This solved the issue, but they left a gaping hole in my closet for me to repair and refused to do any sheet rock repair despite the problems they caused themselves.

I had originally chosen D&H because of their professional behavior and timely response since other companies seemed unreliable and did not follow-up with their quotes. The contract total was $4,200 and they were certainly not the cheapest quote, so I'm disappointed in their lack of professional behavior and the lack of work ethic in their final product. For that kind of money, they could have at least offered me a 2ft x 2ft sheet rock panel to repair the big hole they left in my closet. Anyway, I am happy with the duct work they did install and the new swamp cooler unit, but in the end they reminded me of every other contractor out their trying to cut corners.

Well versed, polite and professional technician. D&H is good company to work with.

D and H Air conditioning and heating I contacted after we had a lightning strike and it fried the AC control panel leaving the unit disabled. Called D & H. They sent somebody out immediately on hearing it was an emergency. [redacted] is the technician That was sent. It was clear from the start that he knew what he was doing. The work is superb and he also explained everything from function of the unit to the paper work. I'm very happy with the result. Will not hesitate to call if we need their expertise and experience. And, the house is cool now and my dear wife is positively giddy. Thanks a lot for the great service.

I have contracted with the above company since 2012 for HVAC maintenance. They have always been fair and responsible.

[redacted] was so pleasant and you could really tell by his enthusiasm that he enjoyed his job and helping customers. [redacted] was extremely knowledgeable about his business, therefore doing his work quickly and efficiently was no surprise. I ask him about installing air conditioning in my home, something I know nothing about. This company actually sets up another appointment that is devoted to discussing a new air conditioning unit for your home. I really like that! That way I don't have to "grab" the workman between his chores to ask him questions (and believe me that has happened before). I really have to say I am really impressed with this company and esp. with [redacted] who was pleasant & friendly to work with. He also made it very easy for me to understand things and used "non-laymen" terms to deal with a "newbie" like me. Thanks Everyone!

[redacted] was very courteous, gracious, and knowledgeable as he did my Air Conditioning Inspection. He found several items that were corrected on the spot and even gave valuable tip on energy saving and to prevent future problems. His mannerisms were pleasant and respectful. Thank you [redacted] for the AC knowledge and encouragement.

[redacted] arrived on time and was courteous, professional, and communicated very well what was going on with our heatpump unit during a semi-annual service call.
I was very pleased with his efficiency and knowledge. I highly recommend both [redacted] and D&H. We have used the latter for about the last 8 years. They seem to regularly improve their customer service over time, which is always appreciated.

I am very pleased with the service tech, [redacted], that came to our house. He was thorough and pleasant. He checked out the A/C unit & heating & cooling. He didn't try to hustle us by telling us we needed hundreds of dollars of maintenance, as a previous tech had tried. He answered my questions & even found better quality filters for less money than what we are currently using.

A real pleasure to finally deal with a company and a service tech that respects the client. [redacted] was knowledgeable and cautious. Although it was a service call to check system operation, a bad or wrong diagnosis can lead to serious problems down the road.

Extremely overpriced for the issue. Took less than 10 minutes to discover the blown fuse and about 20 minutes to resolve. All for $160. That's an easy $60 too much.
The repair person was very nice.

[redacted] worked on my a/c unit 4-28-16. He did a great Job. He was polite, & efficient.
