I placed an order with Davidson Defense on 3/23/2020 and the only communication that I have received from the company was an email with my order confirmation. I have called several times, but can never speak with a customer service representative. The automated voice tells me that the wait time for a representative is 3 minutes and after 20+ minutes of waiting, I’m automatically disconnected. I have also sent an email out inquiring about my order and have not received a response. I understand that a lot of companies are swamped and backed up in orders, but there should be room for communication between customer and the company. As of now, I’m left in the dark and cannot speak with anyone at the company regarding my order status.

I apologize for the difficulty in reaching anyone on the phone for support. Our customer service team has been hit hard by covid-19. I was unable to locate any support tickets created by the customer so I created a new support ticket and gave the customer an update and eta on their order. The order was placed 3/23 not 2/23 and we are currently seeing lead times of 2-3 weeks on orders with assembled uppers. Their order is on track to ship well within that lead time. I placed three separate orders with the company starting 3-21-2020
Haven’t received updates or confirmation about my orders. I’ve sent three emails and have made hundreds of phone calls. Phones ring busy or they tell you there is no support and it hangs up on you. I’m just trying to find out when to expect a shipping date. Order numbers ***...***..

I place order # DD-*** with Davidson Defense on 3/20/20 (11 days ago as of today) and while they responded with a standard email that shipping would be in 2 to 4 weeks due to the COVID-19 health crisis, which I fully understand, they have their phones set to automatically hang up on anyone who calls and you never get a response via email as well. As a business owner whose business is still operating during this crisis with a slightly reduced staff due to the state shutdown of schools and day care facilities, I understand that there may not be enough people to fully man the phones or conduct normal shipping operations but to have a phone system that simply hangs up on people with no explanation nor responding to an email at all is EXTREMELY unacceptable customer relations. The responses I have seen here on Revdex.com to multiple complaints has been to cancel orders or otherwise pass the buck which are also EXTREMELY poor business practices. This was not my first purchase from Davidson Defense but it may very well be my last since other firearms manufacturers actually respond to their customers such as Classic Firearms, CDDN Sports, Anderson Manufacturing, and even MidwayUSA.

I was informed that the customer's order will ship either today on tomorrow. I was unable to find any customer support tickets from the email provided in this dispute or order info. I've purchased an assembled 7.5" upper, an unassembled lower and upper, and various small parts from Delta Team Tactical/David Defense. I have found all of my parts to be first rate components and work flawlessly. Recently, I contacted the company via email and immediately received a response from Jenna, who is very courteous. Absolutely have not had issues that would not make me not buy here.

Bought two handguards. Called to return... No damage to product. Called for return rma... They never pick up. Emailed and they respond days later.. after I reurned product for guranteed return. I apologize for the delayed/lack of response. The notes on the returned items were never input into our system by an employee who has since been let go. I was able to find said notes is on our customer service website and was able to confirm that the customer did in fact return the items in question. I just now issued a full refund and emailed the customer with a better explanation of the situation. This is not how we like to get things settled and apologize for this huge inconvenience.

I ordered a stripped lower with a parts kit, and pistol brace. I have tried to find out when my order will ship, by calling customer service. I get stuck on hold for long periods of time and no one will answer me. I ordered on 03/17/2020, and have received no update on the status of my order.

I ordered $300+ worth of items last Thursday. I understand that times have been delayed due to COVID19, but I have received NO updates about my order and despite many emails and many attempts to call (even asking the automated service for a cal back which never took place), I have gotten nowhere. At this point, I just want my money back out of principle. A company that does not care about its consumers is one I wish not to give my business to. I have searched the internet and found many, many, many bad reviews about Davidson Defense including 35 complaints to the BB in the past year. My only wish is that I did this research beforehand. I would have never given them my business. I also came across several forums that have dozens of members with the same situation as mine urging folks to stay away. Shame, and a sham of a company.

So I ordered an upper and a lower to build my first AR15 to find out from reviews that I probably won't ever see the gun or my hard earned money back. The money was taken from my account immediately and then I never got notified if its been shipped yet.

We were given less than a week before this dispute was filed and we had not even received the FFL info for your order so it was still on hold. There was no delay at this point on your order. We hope to get another shot to fulfill any of your firearm needs in the future. Those funds on that refund should appear in the customer's account in the next 3-5 days.

My order # ***. I ordered an assembled upper, tool kit, BCG, and charging handle. The box I received was just the upper assembly. the box was fully packed with bubble wrap and the part came in perfect condition. My problem is I never received the rest of my order that I have been charged for. Going on to my account to track and see if I had another package coming it just states that they shipped my order complete all together. The package came in on 3/13/2020. I emailed them right away with pictures of the pack slip and box/item that came in, but I have yet to hear anything on this. I have called multiple times and just sit on hold for long periods of time. I understand that they can be busy but there is no excuse for not confirming that they are looking into this even.

I purchased a complete upper for an LR 308 that was to be unassembled. After package arrival inventory revealed missing barrel nut. This nut is specific to M Lok and very costly. After NUMEROUS attempts via phone I completed an on line customer service reply stating they are too busy to assist me. No they had no trouble charging my card.

I placed an order on 2/12/2020 and I have yet to receive my barrel nut or the hardware for the handguard on the Davidson Defense "Gadwall" AR-15 Pistol Upper Receiver 7.5" .223 Wylde which I purchased from them. I have sent 3 different emails. I have called a rediculous 20 freakin' times and was put on hold until hung up on. I made actual phone contact twice. The first time I was promised the barrel nut, handguard hardware and a role pin which I also needed. I got the role pin. never received the barrel nut or handguard hardware. Finally made contact again, they said the order for the barrel nut and handguard hardware was never placed. I was told they would ship out last Friday (the day I made contact again) or if not then on Monday. It's Thursday at 9:30 P.M., still no tracking number or product for that matter. These were misc parts that their website says take 2-4 days to ship. Mind you each time I was supposed to get a tracking number which I also never received. Item#

My problem is I ordered a complete upper 2/22/20 and the money was instantly taken out of my account and sent an invoice email. That stated they would email me when it was shipped only not to hear anything further back. Called multiple time to be put on hold and after 30 mins get automatically disconnected. Sent multiple emails with no response. Even went as far to call their closest business in the same are and was told to call one of their 3 other companies than run under the same store front. To no prevail they just don’t have anyone that handles their customer service.

Your entire order will ship together so please refer to the longest lead time to line up with the product types of that order. Assembled orders take 8-10 BUSINESS days at least to get assembled and shipped out. Your order falls into that timeframe at the moment and is on schedule to be assembled and shipped within or just after that time. I will go ahead and go with your requested action which is to cancel and refund your order now. That refund should show up in the next 3-5 days depending on your financial institution. Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.

On 2/5/2020 I purchased a "Fire Ant" kit from here. On 2/12/2020 it was delivered. But the problem is the box was missing parts. I contacted the company on every email I could find and called them and sat on hold for no less than 20 min at least 4 times. I get no response . I am missing a simple part, the barrel nut/handguard nut and retaining screws . Nothing huge but I dont want to have to spend another $60 because they made a mistake. Their customer service is horrible. My order # was ***. Not happy .

I ordered a 24 inch .223 Wylde upper reciever on February 11th, 2020. When I purchased it, it took the money from my bank account right away. I received a confirmation email shortly after saying that my order was received and should be delivered in eight to ten business days. The next day, I noticed that the product I ordered was taken off of the website. I am not sure if they are out of stock, but I do not want to spend money on something that I will never get. Today is the eighth business day and I have yet to get a shipping number or any email saying that my product has shipped. I have emailed customer service three times and have yet to talk to anyone from the company for help. I have also tried calling everyday for the last four days and have not had anyone answer with waiting on the phone for fifteen minutes each. I do not want to get chipped out of my money. I am not sure what to do because it is impossible to get a hold of customer service from Davidson Defense.

I ordered a stripped upper on January 27, 2020. Money has been withdrawn from my account. Here it is February 19, 2020 no updates on my order and cannot speak to a person with customer service to get an update on my order. The only information provided under the order information is "New".

My order for a complete AR9 upper assembly was submitted on 12/11/2019, shipped 3 weeks later on 3/31. The shipping information provided for the order appeared to be correct on Davidson's online order status window. However, by USPS attempted delivery on Monday, 1/6/2020, but the carrier noted that an "Insufficient Address" was provided and the parts are being returned to Davidson Defense. After calling USPS Customer Service I was told that the label actually said, "6th Drve" instead of "6th Floor."
On January 8, 2020 I sent an email to Davidson's Customer Service outlining the aforementioned issue with the address and missed delivery. The Davidson Customer Service representative responded the same day with the following:
"I am so sorry about that! I attempted to input the address correctly 3 times and the system keeps saying it's incorrect and changing it back to #6 Drive.I did over ride it so the address is correct now, but that's probably what happened originally.
As soon as we receive it back to us we will ship it back with 2 day shipping! "

Five days later on 1/.13/20, I emailed Davidson's Customer Service again to see if they had received the returned part from USPS. I did not get a response until 1/23/10, ten days later, stating that nothing had been received yet, and that they would file a claim with USPS. On 1/28/20 I wrote Davidson again, and explained that I had been patient long enough and wanted to have my $140 returned, and they could just keep the part when they received it from USPS. On 1/31/20, Davidson responded,

"I do agree that you have been extremely patient, and I appreciate it so much. Unfortunately, since the carrier is at fault in the situation, we do need to wait for a package or compensation from the carrier to move forward. I am so sorry. The claim is filed so i'll have an answer soon!"

On 2/4/20 I inquired, once again, regarding the status of my order. Today is 2/14/20 and I have not heard anything; and, I do not anything to show for my $140 spent. This is NOT the way customer service should be managed! How difficult is it to either pull a separate part from inventory and ship it to the client, or provide the customer with a refund? I wish I had looked at the Revdex.com grade prior to purchase.(An "F" Rating) If I had, I would still have $140 in my pocket, or the parts from a different supplier.

We shipped to the address given to us by the customer. It got returned due to an insufficient address. We are in the process of locating the package as USPS has stated that the package was returned to sender but has not been delivered back to us yet. The tracking number is ***. We have filed a missing mail request and the ID number for that request is ***. We cannot refund until the item has been returned.

I am rejecting this response because: The "insufficient address" was not an issue created by the customer, but by Davidson's own admission, either a data entry error on the part of the individual at Davidson who was entering the order; or, an issue with the USPS system. Davidson selected USPS as its shipping vendor, not me, the customer. However, as the customer, I am caught in the middle. What if USPS has lost the item and never returns it? Should I be penalized because of their ineptitude? What if it takes a year to settle the issue? I am out of money with nothing to show for it.

The bottom line is that Davidson should take care of its customers first, by either shipping a comparable part to me, or refunding my money.

Undelivered order. FedEx. Davidson defense will not follow through with filing a claim for reimbursement. Issue is over a month old, several discussions between customer service and I regarding the problem. I was informed that they would be filing the claim(as I cannot due to it being past the time frame alotted for me to file with Fed ex as per their policy- although I've tried.) And would keep me up to date via email. Never happened. Today- exactly one month from the non-delivery, I called customer service and was told that they weren't going to file a claim as their records showed the item was delivered.... I reminded them that I have video footage at my property proving that no delivery was made on the day and time FedEx says they left it on my porch.
I was told "Amy"(a customer service manager?) Said that I had three options 1) file a claim myself(already tried and informed by FedEx that the shipper would have to do that). 2) order another of the same item and get 50%off ! 3) make a police report.
Unbelievable.

Ordered a parakeet upper 9 days ago and a day ago the parakeet “10.5 upper in 5.56” was removed from the web page. I’d like to know if I’m going to be shipped the upper or if I’m S.O.L for now. I’ve tried calling them and sending emails with no response. If it went out of stock for a short time that’s fine I just don’t wanna have my money tied up into something that’s going to take months to get back into stock. Order number:

I placed an order Jan29 2020. One week later it still had not updated its status. I tried contacting the company via phone and email. I received a generic email stating shipping times were up to 8 days for what I ordered. I called again on the 10 day since the email. No answer again. I sent another email. Again got a generic response with shipping times. I sent an email requesting a refund and have not been refunded or even replied to.
