Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/09/14) */
Dear Revdex.com,
This client's transfer has been complete for many months. The detailed description is attached to this in PDF form. Thank you.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 15, 2015/09/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the...

response from the business.)
Please close this complaint. Their response was correct, however they could have completed the closing more efficiently and timely. I have been able to get the new deed accepted and ownership of the timeshare has been transferred. Thank you for your attention to my complaint.

Our office has completed the services for the client.  If the client is still receiving maintenance fee invoices we are happy to contact the respective resorts to assist them in updating their systems to reflect the new ownership.  We ask the client to contact their representative at our company directly with specific information so we may continue to assist them.  Thank you.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  I am still receiving correspondence from the Resort that the 2016 Maintenance Fees have NOT been paid or transferred into any new name and out of my name.  The last email sent to Customer Service I did not get any response back.  This company stated in on their Client Contact Information form that they "Directly Acquire your Timeshare Immediately" and that they "Assume Future Maintenance Fees/Taxes & Special Assessments" and to date, neither of these items have happened. If they say their job is done, I would really like to know what they did.  If they say they filed some papers, please let me see a copy of what was filed to really see what was done.  Money was paid in Nov of 2015 and we are now into July 2016 with nothing done but take my money!
Sincerely,
[redacted]

This transaction has completed successfully at the Bureau of Conveyances in Hawaii. The client has been provided with deed copies. The work is complete and the client has been provided with a refund of his resort transfer fee.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:October 2015 we filed this claim with the Revdex.com: Timeshare Transfers failed to deliver service we paid for. On April 11, 2015 we met with Timeshare Transfer representatives/Immediate Acquisitions Representatives in [redacted] NC at the [redacted] & [redacted] The appointment was set up by [redacted] (XXX) XXX-XXXX. My wife and I sat through a sales presentation showing how bad timeshares were, we were also shown a video from various news sources to support their claim. They told us that they were not a scam company and could get us out of our timeshare if we paid the transfer fee of $2500.00. We were told and provided a document that the transfer would happen immediately, but final notification could take up to 6 months. TST also said in some cases the final notification of recorded deeds cold take longer depending on the Resort's policy. However we received this email from the company April 28, 2015: Attached please find the new timeshare deed for your notarization, signature and return to the below address. This will be the final step for you to complete the transfer of title unless the resort requires an additional signature from you at finalization. Once you have printed (single sided) and signed the document in the presence of a notary public please return via regular mail to the below address. The county will require the original document for recording: Timeshare Transfers ATTN: Recording [redacted] XXXXX Once this step is completed the process still may take several weeks to finalize at recording and at the resort. Please let your title representative [redacted] know if you have any questions in the interim. He can be reached via email at [redacted]. Thank you and have a wonderful day. Sincerely, [redacted] Legal Assistant Fax: XXX-XXX-XXXX Email: [redacted] Timeshare Transfers [redacted] XXXXX http://[redacted] It is October 22, 2015 and still no recorded deed nor a refund of our $2500.00. We have copy of many emails to [redacted] on this issue with no present resolution, only empty promises. [redacted] Senior Transfer Specialist Office: XXX-XXX-XXXX [redacted] Fax: XXX-XXX-XXXX Email: [redacted] Timeshare Transfers [redacted] XXXXX http://[redacted] Time share transfers promised to resolve the problem after we made contact with the Revdex.com, but have again fail to do so. The last contact from them (December 7, 2015)is in the following email: "Your unit continues to be rejected because of the type of deed that we are recording. It was not rejected 3 times, it was rejected 4 times. We ask for your continued cooperation. We will continue to respond to your requests as long as they do not become abusive and inappropriate. Based on the previous actions you have taken we are technically under no obligation to continue to assist you based on your lack of cooperation. We have made the decision to continue to work with you on this matter despite your actions. You will receive notice once the deed has been successfully returned. Again, we expect that this week. Good evening. - Timeshare Processing [email protected]" This company appears to have a habit of threatening the costumer with additional bad customer service if they complain about bad customer service.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I appreciate them willing to correct the issues. My suggestion is to call [redacted] of the Pono Kai resort. He is in charge of reviewing/accepting the deeds for completing the transfer. His number is [redacted]. He can explain the changes needed, which is not my area of expertise. I hire and rely on experts to get this done.

Good Morning,
[redacted]
The business Timesharetransfers contacted us after being notified by your office of the claim and have promised to correct the problem. They have made similar promises in the past, but with your office involvement, hopefully they really will correct the problem this...

time. Therefore, I am closing the claim as the business requested, but want to have the option to reopen the claim, if the business fails to deliver on its promise of a quick resolution.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

In an email to a Fox News dated 12/15/15, [redacted] at Timeshare...

Transfers stated he contacted me to alert me that the deeds had been recorded. I then checked and the deeds were recorded on 12/2/15. He DID NOT contact me as he stated. He says that since I did not respond, they were refunding my "resort transfer fee" of $300. I paid him $600 in resort transfer fees for the two timeshares.
I then called the resort and was told to send the deeds to them for the titles to be transferred. This is a duty of the company to earn their $295 fee, which they seem to have decided not to do. Once the deeds prepared by the company were reviewed by the resort, they were found to contain ERRORS/OMISSIONS and are INVALID! It seems I am back to square one and NOTHING has been accomplished of any value by the company. This is inexcusable. I want the proper deeds prepared, sent and recorded and the timeshares transferred or a complete refund of all fees (less the $300 I have received).

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/11/17) */
The client is mistaken and regrets filing this complaint in error. This has been resolved directly with the client.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2015/11/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the...

business.)
This matter has not been resolved to our satisfaction.

We are happy to assist [redacted] as a courtesy but there has been no "contract assignment" of [redacted]'s account and no payment has been remitted to us by any entity for the continued servicing of his account.  We are not able to reach representatives from [redacted] because the numbers we have for that company have been disconnected for several months.  We spoke with [redacted] on the phone today and we have agreed to pay for the finalization of his transfer as a courtesy despite not having any formal agreement with him.  He agrees that he has filed this complaint in error and will be accepting this as resolved.  Thank you.

We process between 6,000 and 7,000 transfers each year and several hundred of them are at [redacted].  We are aware of the process.  The seller AND buyer must sign the associated letter.  We ask again that [redacted] contact our office directly at [redacted] demonstrating his willingness to sign the forms necessary.  Upon receipt of his email we will immediately re-forward the documents to him necessary to finalize the transaction.  We look forward to his cooperation.  [redacted], please send the email to [redacted] so you may resolve this complaint with the merchant.  Thank you.

This transfer was COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY in Orange County FL November of 2015.  Please find the attached RECORDED deed.  This complaint was filed in error.  Please remove.  Thank you.

The internal processing of [redacted] transfers has long since been completed. We ask that [redacted] direct all future correspondence to our office via email. We have recently received a fax of a maintenance fee invoice from [redacted]. If he has any further questions he may direct them to our...

office via email to [redacted] or phone [redacted] and we would be happy to assist him.

We are happy to conduct this transfer for this client.  However, we have received no email correspondence from them from the email address [redacted] for any of our customer service accounts.  If they wish for us to complete this transfer they must submit...

the request to [redacted].  They must ensure that they have an "S" on the domain name or we will not receive the message.  We will look forward to assisting this client.

The deeds recorded at the Bureau of Conveyances in Hawaii are NOT correct. They are worthless in terms of me being able to obtain ownership of the timeshares. I am disappointed that Timeshare Transfers did not do its job and see the process to the end. They only refunded one Resort Transfer Fee (I paid $600, not $300) and I paid $295 twice for them to transfer ownership of the titles to the timeshares, not just record a (useless) deed. This process has taken nearly a year thus far. In an email dated 12/31/14, [redacted] stated:
"[redacted],
Both of your transfers (yours and your sisters) are in process. Our office is at half staff this entire week and last week due to the holidays. I would ask for your understanding this time of year and send any inquiry you may have on Monday or Tuesday of next week.
If there is any complaint with the Revdex.com the accounts will be placed on hold and a lien placed until resolved. Thank you for your understanding and please email if you have additional questions."
I want the company to do what is right: either complete this transaction FULLY, or refund ALL of the money I paid as to this point, they have not earned any of it.

We sent email correspondence to the client on Tuesday and again today prior to receiving this complaint.  The client stated that the emails must have gone to junk mail.  Both the company and the client apologized for the misunderstanding and we are proceeding cooperatively...

together.  The client will close this complaint as resolved.  Thank you.

The client complaints are two fold:1)  Client indicated we have not responded to calls and emails.--  This is unfounded.  Our very detailed records show that [redacted] from our office proactively called the client on February 16, 2016 and [redacted] from our office proactively emailed the...

client on February 9, 2016.  We keep records of all correspondence and this correspondence is available upon request.  It appears that the real reason for the client's complaint is Price.  Which brings us to the second piece of the complaint.2)  Client is under the impression that the resort itself will transfer title for $299.-- This is not a valid reason for a complaint as the Revdex.com website located at [redacted] indicates that "Issues based solely on dissatisfaction of price" are not a valid basis for complaint.-- [redacted] will in fact NOT transfer the full title for the client including the deed for only $299.  [redacted] does not conduct deed transfers and refer all clients to outside title companies.  The client is mistaken.  [redacted] DOES charge $299 to reflect the title change but this amount does not cover the cost of deeding the timeshare.3)  Timing of transfer-- The buyer information was only supplied by the client on December 23, 2015 and our website and all documentation clearly state that most transfers take 90 days while some transfers can take longer.  We are roughly 60 days into the process and fully in compliance with the terms of use the client agreed to when contracting our services. We have submitted the request to [redacted] for the transfer via certified mail.  Certified mail number available upon request.  The terms of use also require the client to remain cooperative during transfer within 14 days of our request.  We request that the client contact our office immediately so we may continue to answer any questions that the client has and continue to cooperate with the process.  We will expect a direct email to [redacted] that the client agrees to cooperate within 14 days of the delivery of this response to the client as we are unable to complete our service without requests for signatures and other cooperation from the client. Thank you.  Please contact us if you have additional questions.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I have heard from [redacted] from the timeshare company -- I am being threatened with non-cooperation etc. I am attaching the last few emails concerning this matter.
I will concede that it does appear that the two timeshares in Key West FL are complete, however, he is not showing me any proof positive that the Bermuda (St. George's Club) timeshare has been completed.
Once he complies and I know for certain I am no longer liable, I will gladly submit a satisfactory resolution statemtent. Thank you for your help [redacted]

Our internal processing of this client file has long been completed.  Our records do not show recent correspondence from this client at the customer service address.  We have sent an email to the client from the customer service address and ask her to communicate with us there moving...

forward.  Thank you.
