I strongly believe that prospective customers should stay away from this company, unless they want their car severely damagedI had a car wash at Delta Sonic located at *** *** (Penfield NY) before Christmas of The car went off track and was severely scratched and dented on the passenger side, to the point that the passenger door can no longer be openedThe car was on neutral and I was not doing anything in it, just sitting with my wife and watching the washI filed a claim almost immediately, the staff took picturesThey said they will contact me within days after their main office reviews the caseSo in days I received a letter from Delta Sonic where they denied any responsibilityAnd the reason was that “our conveyor system was operating properly”Really? Just cars in front of me the whole conveyor was stopped for a minute and then resumed its operationIt is unbelievable how dishonest and irresponsible Delta Sonic isI went to the nearest *** repair/collision serviceThe estimated cost of repair is almost $So think twice before using their servicesThey will damage your car and you will be left with only two options: either pay for the damage yourself (even if you use your insurance you will still lose a lot of money by paying deductibles and higher premium in the future) or sue themEither option takes a lot of time and costs you somethingSo it is best to avoid the risk altogether and never use Delta Sonic

We have attempted to appraise fairly and properly all the
information and reports available to us regarding the occurrence of this
alleged incident.
Our pre-wash digital
video shows substantial ice buildup around the area in
question on the vehicle prior
to entering the Car Wash It appears
extreme weather conditions and cold temperatures caused this ice buildup, and a
weakened seal on the door caused the buildup to enter the door frame. Furthermore, the Car Wash only generates
gentle sprays of water; it does not produce enough water to cause ice to
buildup in a door frame.
Our records also confirm a total of 1, vehicles went
through the Car Wash on the date in question with no similar reports of
damage. Certainly, if our Car Wash
caused the damage in question, there would be an excellent chance the damage
would have been repeated on other vehicles
Although we cannot pay for the damage to the complainant’s
vehicle, we would be happy to send complimentary services for any inconvenience
caused

Had our van detailed inside and out Told it would be 4-hours - took No big deal Then noticed two matts missing - detail shop could not find them Filed claim, received response that video showed only three matts Corporate set appointment with Scott at 9am 2/8/to review film After waiting minutes for someone to talk to Matt, the wash supervisor, said it was Scott's day off and he knew nothing about it Called corporate, after waiting on hold minutes Jenifer in corporate said Scott will call me to set appointment Jenifer did not want me to talk to a Supervisor, and transfered me to a voicemail I could not hear or understand So much of my time has been spent and they do not seem to care at all Horrible experience- Still haven't heard from Scott!

At this time, our preliminary investigation indicates the
affected area was previously coated with some sort of paint that is not
original to the vehicle. It appears that
the foreign substance that was previously applied was incompatible with the
surface, causing a
lack of adhesion leading to the eventual flaking. Our records indicate the complainant has an
appointment with the District Manager on 7/15/to have the damage inspected
and the claim re-evaluated

Fully understanding the customers concerns, we have
carefully considered this complaint.  
Our
equipment is so designed that there is no part of it that operates in such a
way as to cause the damage in question.

with our Area Manager, which the complainant declined.  The complainant advised our office that he
would be turning this matter over to his law [redacted]. 
Our offer to arrange a meeting with our Area Manager still
stands.  The complainant can contact our
office at ###-###-#### to schedule an appointment.

If the complainant could please forward the repair estimate, we will process for secondary review.

The business mailed an unsigned letter stating they do not wish to have my services performed at their business.  The receipt offers a satisfaction guarantee that did not meet my expectations.  It is not the consumer's fault for work of lesser quality however, if the business refuses to make it right it is then considered theft.  I was promised a phone call to resolve such issue and the company has failed to contact me via phone.  I will admit that I indeed take extreme care of my vehicle however, I indeed made it clear to the attendant of my expectations and he assured me the job would be complete to my expectations.  When it wasn't the business failed to honor the SATISFACTION GUARANTEE which is written all over my receipt which I still have.

We have thoroughly investigated the circumstances concerning
the incident that was reported, and fully appreciate the customers concerns.
Any vehicle in sound condition will safely pass through the
Car Wash tunnel.  The reason...

a
pre-existing condition was referenced is due to the fact that a technical
service bulletin has been issued for this make/model vehicle for this specific damage.  A technical service bulletin is issued by a
vehicle manufacturer when there are several occurrences of an unanticipated
problem.  A copy of the bulletin has been
attached for review.  Furthermore, our
pre-wash digital video shows the driver side roof molding was lifted prior to
entering the Car Wash, making the part more vulnerable to damage.
In the interest of customer goodwill, and in the event the
service at Delta Sonic further aggravated a pre-existing condition, we are
willing to offer a repair through Delta Sonic’s Auto Repair Services.  The complainant can contact our office at
###-###-#### for further information on the repair.

We have attempted to appraise fairly and properly all the information and reports available to us regarding the occurrence of this alleged incident.  
The Car Wash equipment is so designed that there is no part of it that operates in such a way as to cause the damage presently on the claimant's vehicle.  We washed hundreds of vehicles on the day of the claimant's visit without any other similar reports of damage.  Additionally, digital video of the claimant's vehicle travelling on the Detail Shop conveyor shows nothing came in contact with the vehicle during the Detail services.  
Being guided by these facts, we strongly feel the damage claimed did not occur at Delta Sonic.
Even though we feel we are not at fault, we are concerned about any problems brought to our attention by our customers.  Entirely as a gesture of customer goodwill, and to save the claimant any further inconvenience, we will issue a check in the amount of $250.00 to the claimant which represents the repair cost.

It was very unprofessional and unfair to us because we now have to wait to find out if we can get the information from the man who rear ended us. We hope that if they cannot help us with that, they should be the one's who help pay for the damage as they were giving poor directions and had all the cars follow too close behind. We shouldn't be treated carelessly at a car wash and should not have had to deal with this.

Your findings are wrong. The video didn’t show the clarity of the mats being returned. I watch the video with a manage and could clarify the total of mats returned I will not settle this matter until the estimate given is paid for the returned of the mats. Estimate enclosed in response. My next step is to filed a complaint with the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission on this matter. Also I did do some research and this isn’t the first time your company has lost mats for cars. See the complaint filed by a (Mike S from Plainfield IL).
Avoid this location like the plague! I took my Toyota Sienna minivan there to get a full detail which cost over one hundred and twenty bucks. The car wash left bug guts all over the hood. While my van was on the vacuum conveyor belt I repeatedly watched as the employee tried to break the automatic side doors of my van. The detail neglected to clean the inside of the windshield and then they forgot to return my floor mats. I'm not the primary driver of the van so by the time this was brought to my attention and I called Delta Sonic I was relieved when they told me that they had them in the lost and found. However, when I returned of the seven floor mats that make up my Sienna's system they had lost all but three of them. The manager was totally unhelpful to my wife and just told her to talk to one of the Jr Associates to fill out a report.

We fully understand the customers concerns and have
carefully considered this complaint.  
In
order for a claim to be properly investigated, a video review is
necessary.  Unfortunately, we have no
record of the customer coming through...

the Car Wash in April and the customer
cannot produce a receipt.  At this time,
the customer has provided us with three separate potential dates and upon video
review, her vehicle is not seen going through the wash.  Furthermore, had the molding come off during
the wash, it would have been found on the floor at some point in the bay.  It was confirmed that no molding for the
customers make and model vehicle was found. 
Without the exact date and time of the service, we cannot
properly investigate the claim to determine liability and therefore, cannot
offer any monetary reimbursement.  In the
interest of customer goodwill, we can offer $125.00 in Delta Sonic gift cards
as overcompensation to resolve this claim. 
Please notify our office if this offer is acceptable.

We appreciate and understand the complainant’s feelings on
this matter, but unfortunately must stand behind our assessment that this
damage did not occur at Delta Sonic.
Our investigation and visual inspection by the Site
Supervisor...

indicates the damage in question is not consistent with the service
performed at Delta Sonic.  The
complainant also reported to the Site Supervisor that the pre-spray wand came
in contact with his vehicle causing the damage however; our digital video shows
that the wand does not make contact with the vehicle both times it passes
through.  Furthermore; the Car Wash
equipment is so designed that there is no part of it that operates in such a
way as to cause the damage in question. 
The equipment is cloth based and could not cause deep scratches to one
limited area. 
Although we cannot accept liability on this claim, as a
gesture of customer goodwill, we can make arrangements for a complimentary Scratch
Repair and Paint Touch-Up Service at our Detail Shop.  This service should help remedy the damage in
question.  Please advise our office if
this offer is satisfactory and we will make arrangements.

Our records indicate a credit was issued on 2/3/2014 to resolve this issue.

In response to your letter dated April 9th Complaint ID [redacted] I followed the instructions given to me to take the car back to the body shop where the previous repair was done. My collision repair man said that if the damage to the edge of the door was caused by wet-sanding it should have shown up on the entire door since the whole door had been done. He further stated that since I had the car washed a couple of times at Delta Sonic after the car was repaired and before the car was detailed there it should have showed up when the car was washed. Therefore the collision shop is not accepting the responsibility for the damage. 
While I have always been pleased with the work done in the past at Delta Sonic I wish to go on record that neither I or my family will patronize or recommend Delta Sonic again. The amount of money they will lose from not doing business with them will far surpass the repair cost of $500.
I am currently doing business with [redacted]'s Car Wash, which may not be as big as Delta Sonic, but from my past experience with them they have shown that customer satisfaction is important.
At one time I owned a [redacted] that the aerial snapped off the fender as it was going through the [redacted]. I put in a claim which was promptly taken care of for $275. I realize now that after all I have had to go through with the Delta Sonic Corporation that I should have remained loyal to [redacted]'s. 
In closing regardless of whatever decision or action the Revdex.com takes, I thank you for your consideration in this matter.

is satisfactory to me.  
HOWEVER, the Revdex.com should be aware of their "shenanigans" - i.e. their letter to me (and their info to you) were both CONVENIENTLY dated 10/12/15 ... the day BEFORE my complaint was submitted to you.  I received their letter and two $25 DeltaSonic cards yesterday (10/20/15).  Seeing as their letter had a "10/13/15" postage-meter-postmark ... NO WAY would it have taken the USPS one week to deliver an envelope from Buffalo-to-Rochester !
All of which leads me to conclude/surmise that their response was ACTUALLY prompted by your input to them (and probably actually occurred sometime from 10/16/15 to 10/19/15).
And so I thank you for your help in this matter as any activity on their part did not exist previous to the Revdex.com intervention.
"DATES" apparently are NOT that organization's strong point [but they do seem to notice them when they get 'slapped-upside-the-head] !

We appreciate the customers concerns regarding this incident however; our investigation and visual inspection by our Site Supervisor strongly indicates that the damage was the result of a pre-existing condition.  
Normally the paint finish on a vehicle, if properly applied...

and in sound condition, will not be affected by the Car Wash or pre-spray process.  The only time a problem may occur is when the paint has lost adhesion creating a peeling, bubbled or flaking condition.
Although the primary cause of damage may be one of these pre-existing conditions, in the interest of customer goodwill, we are willing to issue a check to the customer in the amount of $150.00 in the event the damage was further aggravated at Delta Sonic.
