Thank-you for making us aware of the complaint filed against us (reference #***). Upon researching the information provided we were able to verify that the vehicle on the lot was not owned by Mr***. In the course of issuing the parking notice the parking lot attendant
inadvertently transposed the license plate numberThe incorrect license plate information showed that it was Mr***’s vehicle and a collection notice was sent out to the registered owner. There are safeguards in place to keep incidents due to human error at a minimum including; photographs of the vehicle and cross checking to DMV records of vehicle information. This notice had been flagged for review in our system, however unfortunately this one was not reviewed in timeAs a result of this error the parking lot attendant has received additional training in reconciling the picture taken with license plate information put in the system to prevent a reoccurrence of the same issueThe parking notice Mr*** received#*** has been cleared out of the system and there will be no continued attempt to collectDiamond Parking takes pride in the fact that we treat every customer complaint very seriouslyDue to the large volume of customers we serve, occasionally misunderstandings do occurAll complaints are followed up on in a timely manner to ensure that the customer is satisfied. However, since there seem to have been a number of complaints about this business "transposing" license plate numbers, I do wonder if this is an underhanded attempt to collect feesI am satisfied with the resolution, but wish this business would be fined if this practice continues on their part

Response to Revdex.com case #*** This parking notice was issued for no advance paymentCustomer, Ms*** parked on the second floor of a three story parking garage in the Eugene Downtown core, operated by Diamond Parking Service on 6/6/In her statement to the Revdex.com, she states that she was
given a ‘ticket’ for $30, “$if not paid in days.” However the $parking notice fee doubles to $if not paid within daysThis information is printed right on the parking noticeMs*** also mentions our signage was not clear at the entrance and nothing was clear as to where to pay for parkingThere are more than signs at the entrance and exit of the garage including stairwells stating to “Pay to Park” at all times (I have enclosed a sampling of pictures of the current signage on the attached pages at the end of this response contained within this garage facility)Ms*** has paid the $Parking NoticeThe parking rate at this facility for one hour is $(this is how long the Ms*** stated she was parked in the facility in her statement)As a customer service gesture, Diamond Parking is happy to refund the $27.00; this is the difference between the amount the customer paid for the parking notice and the amount that originally should have been paid for her one hour of parkingWe are currently processing the refund and a check will be sent to the customer within 2-weeksWe will now consider this matter closedSincerely, *** *** Diamond Parking Services Office:*** ***@diamondparking.com

Thank you very much for your inquiry to Parking Notice ***. I am happy to help resolve this issue
While researching, I noticed that you had wrote that the Purchase Date was for 9/10/and that you were on a camping trip at Alta Lake State
Park
The Parking Notice *** was actually written for “No Advanced Payment” on August 6th at around 7:pmSpecifically, when parking in this particular lot, there are three Terms and Conditions signs (One at the entrance, one by the pay station, and one at the far wall) that describes payment in advance for any parking . Being that you have parked and paid for parking there on prior occasions, I believe the error may have been on the date of the collection letter being generated and the issuance of the actual parking notice.Our checker also recorded the license plate number *** which ties back to your vehicle based on the Washington State Department of Licensing
I also researched that plate number and I noticed that this is your first Parking Notice with Diamond Parking. After reading that you previously have parked in this garage and paid for parking at those times, I will void this notice as a one-time courtesy and remove the $charge regarding Parking Notice ***

Queen Anne has seen a significant increase in parkers, and heading into the peak time of Key Arena/Queen Anne events during summer,
the demand has necessitated an increase in both the daily and monthly parking in the area. Please keep in mind that we are constantly analyzing the business trends and competitors in order to establish a fair market rate that allows our customers the opportunity to have multiple parking options revolving around availability, price, and convenience
Regarding your concern about the different price posted on www.diamondparking.com, I completely apologize for the error. There was a recent system upgrade that did not capture the changed price that was input. We have rectified the error, and the price beginning in July will be $plus applicable taxes and processing fees. Because of our error, I will be happy to give you a refund of your June monthly parking of $30.52, so that you will end up paying the advertised price of $plus applicable taxes and processing fees that you saw posted online.
Please feel free to contact me if you are looking for alternative parking options, as I want to make sure that we will be able to fulfill your needs

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: Diamond Parking has a professional paid to mitigate and reject as many claims as possible. They are doing their part to wash their hands of any responsibility to the damage they caused, as being responsible for the damage will cost them. The attachment in the email shows a large sign near the entrance of the parking lot during the dayI was at the only open business in the plaza, at 8:pm, there was no sign there at that time and the business I was at is not listed on the DO NOT PARK listThe sign above my vehicle on the ticket picture is a small unreadable sign, smaller than a license plate, to feet above the street on an unlighted wallI do appreciate the gesture by the company to void the ticket and accept it, but I fear many more folks will be caught in that trap
