Our response to this went out in the mail 8/20 and is attached.
August 18, 2015 ID [redacted] Dear [redacted] I apologize for the inconvenience of the Parking Notice and I am happy to help resolve this situation. Please notice that we have voided the Parking Notice and you will not be...

responsible for any payments. Due to the few parking spaces available, some of the garage parking spaces are stenciled 30 minutes time limit. I agree this may be difficult to notice when parking and I apologize signs are not at eye level, we will review the need for eye level signage. I understand you did not see the stenciled time limits and have voided the Parking Notice #[redacted] from August 11, 2015. Please note printed on the back of the notice is our website and phone numbers available to contact us directly to appeal a parking notice fee. We will look forward to you being a future customer of Diamond Parking and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Our records indicate that we sent a refund of $30 to [redacted] Redmond, WA 98052. So if [redacted] can confirm that he received this or not so we can respond appropriately.

If Ms. [redacted] can reply back with the parking notice number and license plate of the vehicle in question we would be glad to review and respond to their complaint.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.
Customer states that they parked at the location but did not see signs. The location is private property, with signs located at each entrance and throughout the parking lot. The signs state “no parking after business hours,” and “No Walk offs.”...

Property owner has contracted with Diamond Parking to enforce their property rights at this location.
Given the fact that the parker is new to the area and has no other outstanding issues, we are happy to offer a one-time courtesy void. Please note that with this explanation of the rules at this particular location, no further voids will be given. We do thank you for bringing the issues to our attention, and hope to have the chance to service your parking needs in the future.

Looks like this can be cleared right up, if Ms [redacted] can respond back with the parking notice number and license plate of the vehicle in question so we can review and respond to the complaint.

Hi Mr. [redacted],

Thank you very much for your inquiry regarding Parking Notice [redacted].  I will be happy to help resolve this situation.

This particular lot used to only be available for Monthly Permitted customers, so when I visited this lot today, I agree that the...

signage that indicates the change to Daily Paid Parking availability on the weekends was not well situated, as it is hanging on one of the fences and was not prominent for a parker in that stall that you parked in.

I apologize for the inconvenience and have voided out that Parking Notice so that you will not be responsible for any payments.  Further, we are going to add some prominent Pay Here signage in a couple spots in that lot as well as indicating that the variety of stall numbers located in that lot will be available for Paid Parking at non-business hours for the indicated businesses.  Your input was extremely valuable as it told the story through a parking customer’s eyes, and we will make the necessary changes to eliminate future confusion.

For your convenience, you can always set up a free account at either www.calltopark.com or by calling 877-647-4707 and you can pay for Daily Parking at any of our available lots, so if you need to park in this lot in the future, you will have the ability to make that purchase from your phone.

Please let me know if you have any more questions, and I appreciated your feedback!

Thanks,

Paul M[redacted]

Revdex.com complaint # [redacted]
In response to...

the complaint received dated 12/10/2015, Diamond Parking is under contract with Chase Banks throughout the country. On this particular location we provide attendant services during banking hours and then the property reverts to a paid parking lot after bank hours. We have attached pictures of the pay station that is set up in the middle of the location in plain sight. We have been operating this location for more than a year under these conditions and customers who have used this facility have had no issues. We are a business that is license within the City of Los Angeles. We also have an A+ rating from the Revdex.com. As is described in this complaint, we did not issue a ticket, but a “Parking Owed” notice for non-payment. We will look at the location to see if more signage is required.
As a courtesy, we have voided the Parking Owed notice that was issued in hopes that this customer will use our facilities in the future.

Here is a copy of the email we sent Mr. [redacted] and his response:Hi [redacted],Thank you for your inquiry.  I am happy to help resolve this situation.I see that you parked at our lot [redacted] where you received that Parking Notice. That lot is very familiar to me as it is just up the hill...

from my office, and I can understand the confusion.Basically there are two City of Seattle meters that are on the sidewalk (Please see the black circle on the picture) and our Pay Station (Please see the red circle on the picture) which is located on the actual parking lot itself.  All three are in close proximity to one another.  We definitely do not want any confusion with our customers, as payments to the City meter will of course go to the City itself and so we have hung a “Pay Here” sign above our Pay Station with the hope that it will grab our customer’s attention before they see the City Meters. Obviously you had clear intentions to pay at our lot, so I would like to help you regain your money that you spent on the Parking Notice.I will refund the $43 minus the 2 hours that you meant to pay for that day ($9.76) for a total of $33.24 of refund. Please send me the following information so I can get the check out to you as soon as possible:1.       Address to mail check2.       Phone numberAgain, I apologize for the confusion and I look forward to helping to resolve this situation. Thanks,Paul M[redacted]Operations ManagerResponse:From: [redacted] Date:07/22/20158:44 PM (GMT-08:00) To: Paul M[redacted] Subject: Re: Horrible Business Practices Mr. M[redacted],Let me take this opportunity and eat a little crow and retract all of the negative things I said. This is a very upstanding way to respond, and even though it sounds like I may have put my moneys in the wrong spot, you are still willing to refund me the difference. I will make sure and communicate how great you are to anyone I can. My mailing address is [redacted]Richland, Wa. 99352Phone is [redacted]Thank you again for your understanding and generosity. Regards, [redacted]

Ms. [redacted],I have been forwarded the complaint pertaining to the above referenced case number for review and response. We have spoken to the manager at [redacted] as well as our staff member regarding this incident. There are procedures in place for our staff to follow so that we do not ticket...

[redacted] patrons, however errors can occur. For instance, if a vehicle has been identified by a [redacted] staff members as a "walk off". We do rely on [redacted] staff as well as our own staff to watch for people leaving the parking lot. On May 21st, 2015 there was only a few parking notices issued for walk offs, which indicates that our staff member did not improperly issue notices to every car in the lot. We have reviewed the correct procedures with our staff, to ensure that they are following the rulesset by [redacted].  We do appreciate your concern, as we do not want to penalize [redacted] patrons. Thank you so much for your feedback.  Please accept my sincere apology for your inconvenience. Sincerely,DIAMOND PARKING SERVICES[redacted]City Manager, Tacoma/ Olympia
