Dear [redacted], I apologize for the inconvenience of the Parking Notice and I am happy to help resolve this situation. Please notice that we have voided the Parking Notice and you will not be responsible for any payments. Due to the few parking spaces available, the parking is monitored to ensure that...

all of the retail customers are able to utilize the parking. Some of the parking spaces are stenciled 30 minutes time limit, while others allow for a 2 hour free parking time allotment. I agree this may be difficult to notice when parking and I apologize signs are not at eye level, we will review the need for eye level signage. I understand you did not see the stenciled time limits or signage and have voided the Parking Notice #[redacted] from November 21, 2015. We will look forward to you being a future customer of Diamond Parking and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Peggy H[redacted] Operations Manager – University District/ North Sound

I am sorry to hear about the confusion you faced with your recent parking experience.  While we always strive to provide seamless transactions to our customers.  Unfortunately, with equipment issues can sometimes arise.  We do get notified whenever these...

issues occur and resolve them as soon as possible, but it appears that your transaction was in that window before the issue was resolved.

If I can confirm your payment I would be happy to refund the notice payment you made.  For future reference, we are able to track any payments made with the last four digits of your card number.  If you paid in advance, you do not need to pay any further notices.  Please contact our office at (509) 747-8144 or via e-mail at [redacted]@diamondparking.com and we will review your information and process your refund.

Again I apologize for the confusion.  I hope your future transactions are smoother!

Hi [redacted], I apologize for the confusion with the Parking Notice that you received on July 25, 2015 and I am happy to help resolve this situation. Thank you for sending the receipt for your payment as an attachment. I see that you purchased parking on July 25th at 8:14 AM for the 4 to 10 hour rate of...

$20.00. Per the receipt, the expiration time of the purchase was at 6:14 pm which was ten hours after the purchase time. Your car received a Parking Notice at 9:25 pm which indicates that the vehicle was in the spot for over 13 hours. Later that day, there was a separate and independent rate available for the Seafair Event. The price was also $20 and was not available at the pay station until 3:00 pm and ran until 4 am the following day. The Area Manager placed signs at that location between 2:30 pm and 3:00 pm to advertise for the Event Rate. Because this was your first Parking Notice with Diamond Parking, I want to extend a one-time courtesy refund check for you in the amount of $15.00 which was the price that you paid for the Overtime. I will mail it to your address at [redacted] Seattle, WA 98177. In the future, please know that the any additional Rates (Events or regular) will need to be paid separately if you need to stay beyond the time allotted on your original receipt. Thank you for being a customer with Diamond Parking and feel free to contact me at [redacted]@diamondparking.com if you have any additional questions. I look forward to assisting with your parking needs in the future! Thanks, Paul M[redacted] Operations Manager Diamond Parking Services Seattle Self-Park Division

Mr. [redacted]Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Parking Notice [redacted] that you received while parked at 4314 SW Alaska St.  I have reviewed your appeal and we had received your letter before December 28, 2016 which we then responded offering to reduce the rate to $10.00 upon your next...

contact which is the parking owed amount.  Unfortunately, an auto-generated collection letter was sent out on the same date which is produced after the 30th day of receiving the notice.  Collection letters there-after are then auto-generated and processed every 30 days until payment is made.  This is an in house collection only and will not affect your credit. We did receive another appeal from you before March 24th, 2017 and officially processed the reduction to $10.00.  We do not have any record of sending out a letter stating that fact yet the collection notices you received after March 24th should have reflected the new amount owed. I apologize for the pay by phone (Call To Park) was not properly working to receive your payment and you have had a challenge receiving responses from us through Parking Services.   If that occurs in the future, please contact us at 206-729-0590 and we will take immediate action to fix the issue and take the appropriate information to prevent you from getting a Parking Notice.  For the inconvenience this has caused we have voided out the notice which leaves you with a zero balance owed.  Thank you for your patronage and we will look forward to your future visits to Diamond Parking! Theresa S[redacted] / Operations Manager

Hi [redacted]

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Parking Notice that you received on November 20th. I will be happy to resolve your situation.

We perform a checking service for the Hampton Inn in which we verify that the hotel parking passes are displayed in the vehicles...

parked in the lot in order to ensure that the guests of the Hampton Inn have available parking. On that day, the checker was unable to see your parking pass so he issued a Parking Notice.

When we received your inquiry, the Area Manager checked with the Hampton Inn and was able to verify that you had indeed paid for parking during your stay on November 20th. Because you were a paid guest, I have voided that Parking Notice and you will not be required to make any payments.

I apologize for any inconvenience and hope you had an enjoyable trip to Seattle!

Thanks,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by Tom M[redacted] of Diamond Parking Services in reference to my complaint ID [redacted].  On July 12, Tom M[redacted] phoned me and said he'd have a $9.79 partial refund check mailed to me, which is one of the two things I'd asked for as resolution of my complaint.  As of today, July 20, I still have not received that check.  The other thing I'd asked for was that the signage at parking lot B220 be corrected, but I haven't been back there yet to see if that has been done.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Dear [redacted],Thank you for reaching out regarding your concern over the signage at this specific location.  The signage does state “Evenings” which communicates to parking customers that they must pay to park in the evening regardless of the day of the week.  In addition we have posted the...

Terms and Conditions of the lot which includes the notice fee for not complying with the lot rules.  We take these types of concerns seriously, and will make every effort to make our parking customers experience easier and more convenient.  We are in the middle of updating the signage at this location, and we will incorporate your feedback into this updating process so as to communicate an even clearer message to our customers.  Lastly, we thank you for accepting our offer to reduce the parking penalty down to the original $5.00 price for parking at that location. Regards,Brandon P[redacted]City Manager - Portland/VancouverDiamond Parking Services601 Main Street, Suite 208Vancouver, WA  98660Phone: 503-222-6929

Hi [redacted],Thank you very much for your inquiry regarding the Parking Notice that you received while parked at Lot A883 on 4/27.  I will be happy to assist you with your questions and help provide a resolution. Our event and self-park lots are cashless, so credit cards are the only method of payment...

that is accepted at those lots, so when the guy approached you with the information of either calling 877-647-4707 or visiting www.calltopark.com, that actually was the correct way of making a parking payment.  As you can see from the attached picture that we have in the lot that demonstrates the ability to pay for parking.Without seeing the sign, I can understand your decision to be cautious, and when the checker does not see a payment on a vehicle, they will automatically give a Parking Notice in the amount of $43 for No Advanced Payment.  When you returned to your vehicle, that is what you discovered. While researching the information provided, I noticed that the Parking Services Department had reduced the $43 down to $12.21 (Which is the posted $10 plus the 9.6% City of Seattle Sales Tax and 12.5% City of Seattle Parking Tax) on 5/4 and had noted that they had emailed you that information.  I apologize that email did not get to you, as it may have ended up in your spam/junk folder or had some other issue. For your convenience to pay the $12.21, you may visit www.diamondparking.com and select the Make a Payment button, choose the United States and enter in your license plate and this Parking Notice number:  [redacted]Thank you very much for being a Diamond Parking customer! Thanks,Paul M[redacted]Operations ManagerDiamond Parking ServiceSeattle Self-Park Division

Greetings, Mr. [redacted]. I am sorry that you received 2 parking tickets because you were unable to operate your vehicle due to having lost the keys. Although we contract our services to the City of Bend, we have not been granted the authority to dismiss or reduce your tickets. Although your situation...

is unfortunate, per Bend City Code 6.25.030(A), only the hearings officer has that privilege. Also, keep in mind that your window for contesting this ticket is closing and we don’t want you to miss your opportunity to have this case reviewed. Please follow the procedures for “Option B” with your parking ticket. These instructions have you writing a letter to: Hearings Officer, C/O Diamond Parking, PO Box 1346, Bend, OR 97709. Please include your complete name, address, phone number, original parking ticket, and a statement as to why you are not guilty. Although it is past the 10 days, I was able to extend your opportunity to contest these tickets until April 29th. Hopefully the hearings officer (who is the Municipal Court Judge) will be able to help you out with your situation. If you have any more questions or concerns, please feel free to call me directly at [redacted]

This parking notice was issued for no advance payment.  The customer statement says that this parking notice was issued on August 18, 2015, however, the parking notice was issued at 9:25 PM on August 17, 2015.    At this location we have a cash pay box as an alternative way to...

pay if a customer does not want to use the electronic pay machine or if the machine experiences any kind of malfunction.  In addition, we also have signage for “Call2Park”, which displays a phone number for customers to call to pay by credit card if they prefer not to use the electronic pay machine or if the machine experiences any kind of malfunction. It is important to note that it is extremely rare that we experience payment issues with our electronic pay machine at this location.  This particular machine is hard wired for its power source as opposed to some machines and locations that are solar powered.  In the rare event of a hard wire power interruption, the machine has built in back up batteries to allow operation during any such event.  In the rare event that the machine experiences an interruption in data transmission ability, the machine has built in systems that authorize credit cards and send the data upon reconnection. This parking notice was issued at 9:25 PM.  We checked our machines reporting for the evening in question using the time frame parameters of 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM and the machine processed a total 17 credit card transactions consistently throughout that time frame. This vehicle plate number has no history of parking notices at this lot or any other Diamond Parking lot in Eugene.  The customer indicated in their statement that they were parked in the lot for 30 minutes.  The rate in this lot for 30 minutes is $1.00.  As a customer courtesy, we have processed a refund for Francis Haik in the amount of $29.00, the difference between the amount that should have been paid to park originally and the amount paid for the parking notice issued for no advance payment.  We will now consider this matter closed.Sincerely,Chuck H[redacted]City Mgr., Diamond Parking Services

If [redacted] can reply back with the parking notice number and license plate of the vehicle in question we would be gald to review and respond to the complaint.

Hi [redacted] - I have reviewed this notice and will agree to waive it as a courtesy.I have passed along your concerns to the operations group in Edmonton and they have sent me some photos of the permit section which does in fact show a number of signs posted throughout this area. Please note this for future visits. We have requested additional signage from the property manager as well.
Attached are some of these photos of signs posted in the reserved/permit area (I can only attach 4 of the 6). The parking notice has been waived and the file is closed. Thank you,

More comments:  the 5 day vs 15 day was a typo on someone's part...that was not my main issue.
Returning me $27 of my $30 is a fair settlement.
Though pictures of the signage were included, I got in and out of the facility without seeing them.
Please note that the signs in the stairwells were so much legalese, do they really think someone is going to stop and read them?
I will return to the lot and look for the photographed signs.  I still believe they were not in places easily seen by the drivers, as opposed to
the passengers.
I thank you Revdex.com for handling this issue.

Parking Notice [redacted] was issued 6/7/2016 for No Advanced Payment. This US Bank location in Kirkland requires payment after banking hours for which we received no payment. The customer indicates that the sent us a written appeal first on 8/7/16 a full 2 months after the notice was issued. We...

have not received any correspondence regarding this matter until this Revdex.com complaint. In absence of the written appeals we are not sure what the ticket issues without justification are nor are they detailed in the complaint. As a one time courtesy we have voided this notice out and consider the matter closed. We request should this occur again that we be contacted in a timely fashion either by telephone or to the email address listed on the parking notice.

Dear [redacted]
I apologize for the inconvenience of the parking notice and I am happy to help resolve this situation.
An adjustment was made on 5/27/16 by our accounting department.  Since the deduction was not seen when you tried to pay the agreed $10.00 off, we will write off all outstanding amounts due on the notice.
Please note printed on the back of the notice is our website and phone numbers available to contact us directly to appeal a parking notice fee.
We will look forward to you being a future customer of Diamond Parking and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Dear [redacted],

I am happy to help resolve this situation.

I was able to retrieve the reference number, for this parking notice.  It was [redacted], this is why you were not able to locate it in our Diamond Parking website.  The notice number you provided was...

[redacted]. As a one-time courtesy, we have voided this notice. The notice was left on the window of this vehicle.  It is possible that the parking notice flew off the window of the vehicle when you left the facility. The parking notice was issued due to not having an authorized permit visible in the vehicle at the time the lot was checked. The area you parked in was for permit holders for a three hour maximum time frame to be at the facility, and your vehicle was not displaying the permit which is why your vehicle was issued the “Unauthorized Vehicle” notice.

Please note printed on the back of the notice is our website and phone numbers available to contact us directly to appeal a parking notice fee.

We will look forward to you being a future customer of Diamond Parking and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
