moneyThis is not really about the moneyIt was something like $What made me write the complaint is that their service is so terrible, that they don't care if your order did not arrive, and that their advertising is deceptive about shipping
Because of their terrible service, I am having to change bank account numbers to insure that if those checks were ever found, someone could not use themWhat a headache! All they could say was gee sorry! Really? Not good enough!

After investigating this matter I would like to explain our phone process are the same as on line, Artistic Checks offers various options to assist youIn your case you needed to advise the representative, that you didn't want fraud protection Ezshield plus on your checks, in-plant rush (these feature allowed your order to be printed in a faster manner), and the registersInstead you agreed and provided credit card information as paymentOnce the order is in a "printing" status it cannot be cancelled especially if the order bears an in-plant rushAs courtesy a refund has been issued to your credit card on file in the amount of $Fraud protection on your checks has been cancelled

I am rejecting this response because:The advertised price of this product was to be a TOTAL of $4.95. Checks printed and mailed with no shipping charges. That is correct except the company insists on charging something called a "Handling" charge which is $(see attachment), discounted from another price of $3.45.Additionally they reference boxes when ordering when you actually do not even receive a box. Why are they charging for a box when you do not receive a box? IT is is shipped in plastic which is heated and shrink wrapped and mailed, that stuff comes by the roll.The issue is the offer was $for one box of checks for first time customers. The price is still NOT $with this code. Not only am I being cheated out of this offer but so are any other customers on this siteThis company is full of advertising. When yuo say $for first time buyers including shipping, that is the total amount, less sales tax

Per procedure all orders are subject to verifications through our Security Department. Per printing on line this Value Checks offer does offers starting at the lowest check price of $4.95 per box, this offer applies to first time buyers, or reorder customers. Free handling is not advertised on line because is not part of the offer. The handling fee amount is disclosed under the shipping options which are $3.25 per box. With free shipping option standard delivery (Untrackable), bulk mail up to 10-15 business days. However Checks.com does offer other delivery and faster options at the price listed on line. As a one-time courtesy the handling fee of $3.25 has been waived on your order. Your account on file will be debited upon printing and shipping of the order for (1) box of checks with free shipping the amount of $6.95.

Assuming they credit me, this is fine. I do however find it VERY shady that they hide the handling fee. I am very careful about reading details and it was most definitely NOT apparent. It even listed my total price and 6.95. They know exactly what they are doing.

I just arrived home and found the first box of checks in my mailbox, so that part of my complaint is satisfied. The other, 2nd box arrived 10 days prior.I suggest the business hire better customer service people as a start to fixing their business.Thank you for your assistance in this matter, which I now consider concluded.

At this point no one touches these orders. Fraud protection, Ez-shield is also an option you needed to deselect all unwanted options twice. Payment request will be submitted to your credit card on file upon shipping of the order in the amount of $40.01.

In response to your letter we would like to explain that after investigating this matter we are to inform you that per company and security procedure, all orders are subject to verifications this also being your case. Per your request, this order was shipped from our facility with free, standard 3rd class UPS mail and without fraud protection. For your information, Checks Unlimited does offer other secured and faster options for delivery; including UPS Trackable Delivery Service. Please note that once an order has shipped out, we are unable upgrade shipping or make any changes. Per printing on line all "free shipping" orders must allow up to 17-20 business days for delivery.
Per your call on 01-25-16 a credit refund was issued to your credit card MC ending on 3749 in the amount of $16.44. Per special agreement with UPS and USP service all undeliverable packages are to come back to us safely for proper disposal.
