Do NOT order from Checks Unlimited! Two checks of mine were missing in the middle of my order so I didn't notice immediately and now I got a call from a bank's loss protection services about a check that was written (not by me) for $4,135!! Checks Unlimited had nothing to say except to call the police. They have a thief working for them, and we're such vulnerable customers to them as they have all of our information!!! My bank's fraud services are involved now, my account has been closed.

I am rejecting this response because: I have gone elsewhere, and paid extra, to a company that does not use misleading tacticsHave on your advertising page "free shipping WITH NO MENTION OF A HANDLING FEE WHATSOEVER" is a clear case of advertisingI would of been satisfied even if "handling fees still apply" anywhere that could of been readIt isn't and is completely advertisingNeeds to be fixedFiling a complaint with your district attorney as well

I found an ad in the local newspaper for Designer Checks, and since I had moved, thought to use them for checks with the new address I filled out the form and mailed it with my check I received a call from customer service that I had ordered checks from them years ago, 2001, and was not eligible for the reduced price The price for boxes of checks was $more, plus the $I had already paid I told them to cancel the order, and she told me the order had already shipped Who sends an order to someone with money being owed and doesn't give them the choice to cancel prior to the mailing? I was told to reject the checks and when they were returned, they would return my $ Had I been notified prior to the mailing, I would simply have cancelled the order and asked for a refund of my money Now I have to deal with them in trying to get a return shipping label Buyer beware!

I am rejecting this response because:
My bank did not decline the transaction because I didn't have enough money in the bank to cover the transaction. It was declined because my financial institution recognized the transaction as a duplicate charge (attempted fraud on the part of the business)and the bank refused to pay it. This is what I am trying to say. Checks Unlimited has ALREADY been paid the $13.44. I also have not received an apology from the business regarding the treatment I received. I have a screen shot of my cell phone and the time (over an hour) that I spent on hold trying to resolve this matter peacefully. I will not pay the $to them because it has already been paid and needs to be removed from my account

Nowhere in the solicitation that I received from this company did it state that there is an additional charge for the check registerOn the contrary, they specifically state that "check orders with less than four boxes receive free register and four box orders receive free registers"There is absolutely nothing stated about any codes that eliminate the "free" check registersI have received two additional solicitations and they include the exact same promise of "free" check registersAttempting to charge customers additional amounts after repeatedly stating the check registers are "free" seems entirely wrong!
