The houses built in picket fences may have been built to code involving drainage and run off for those particular homesites, however D.RHorton did not consider the damage that would be caused to adjacent propertiesThe grading of properties and homesites Chanel's water directly to my property with no mitigation efforts madeThis was brought to D.RHorton rep in May of I have contacted the Town of Port Royal to inspect and would request that D.RHorton just follow through with what I was promisedInstall a French Draim to mitigate the water run off the from the homes that they built

We have reviewed *** ***’s complaint and have advised that there is not a design issue with the home. The plan that he purchased has had changes throughout the years as a result of our continual process of enhacing our homes. We would however, like to extend an offer to clean the
stone and power wash the area that has been affected by algea growth as a one time courtesy goodwill gesture
We have met with the buyer and will be repairing the deck

It rained where I live on Thursday ( 7-30-2015) and as of today (8-1-2015)There is still water standing where it shouldn't be, attached is the pictures showing thisD.RHorton, do I need to hire a Real Professional to do this job the right way and send you the bill? I would like someone who knows what their doing complete this job because it seems the two who are doing it now do not know what they are doing
Due to a Revdex.com technical error, *** *** just received the subject complaintWe apologize for the delayed response. The warranty manager and the landscaper visited the customer's home several weeks ago, where standing water was observed at a drain box in the yardThe irrigation contractor
was sent to assess the issue and determined there to be a leak, which was corrected during his visit to the homeThe landscaper visited the yard the following week after a rainfall event to confirm there was no standing waterUpon receipt of a follow up call from the customer, the landscaper visited the home Tuesday following a Monday afternoon rainfall eventAs of the Tuesday visit, there was no standing water in the yard of this homeWhile the warranty covers feet from the foundation, the landscaper and sales professional checked the entirety of the yard to confirmWe are in communication with *** ***'s neighbors regarding their yard and will continue to monitor the situation as necessary

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.I have been told that strand was gonna come out for the last months and have yet to hear from them or *** They seem to try and fix instead of having it inspected and fixed properlyWe currently as of today 7/29/have still not heard from strand nor *** ***We still have trimming falling off the windows, support post falling apart and seperated, door frame is still bowing though it's been replaced xs carpet is still torn up from where the warranty guy pulled it up to remove debri and hammer in nails that popped a few months ago, drains in back yard have still not been addressed, all nails on all window frames are still popped out and black, cabinet trim nor cabinets have yet to be fixed from when they pulled from wall in Nov of just months after closing, The A/C company has no call no show twice but eventually showed to put the vent in upstairs room but never showed back up to balance it or fix a part on the outside unit as they said they would be backPlus other warranty work that hasn't yet been completedThese have been continuously the same issues that keep pulling apart after being repaired over and over

I am replacing the tub for the ***. I have informed Mr*** of that this afternoon and we will be working together on a schedule for all the work to take place Thanks ***
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Any reasonable or reputable business would not leave their own customer/patrons in hazardous
conditions. We also have a hole under our shrub bed which is causing the driveway to crack and sink lower than it's adjacent area of concrete. We would also like an exchange on a tree and some shrubs that they told us were just in shock (even Home Depot will exchange trees and shrubs for a year). Builder tried to lie and say that he would take pictures of everything and then take care of it if there were any problems. We also rejected over pallets of dead sod that they tried to place on our property and we would not close until it was replaced. They laid the same sod in a common area next to our house and its all weeds and dead Bermuda. We paid the price that they asked for the home and the company didn't deliver as promised. We feel defrauded out of our hard earned money

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: the company provided was given an opportunity to inspeact the work done to repair the pipingThey said noI am ok with not getting the money for that work doneHowever they were given an opportunity to fix the damage caused by the water leak and they refusedSo since they would not fix the drywall and carpet I had to have it done since people live thereSo since they were given an opportunity to do that work they should have but did not want toSo who is going to pay me for the work I had done since your contractors refused to do the work?
Regards,
In responds to Mr *** not finding our offer satisfactory and claims we have not communicated. We have communicated our response and he didn’t like the answer. I acknowledge that Mr*** would like a backyard with a revised slope. The Backyard currently has an acceptable slope and the grade promotes positive drainage form the back yard and the house pad elevation. The facts are that we have a 20’ private drainage easement at the rear of Mr*** home. We need to maintain the current grade because it is working as it was intended. We created a day list and agreed to regrade and re-sod uneven sod. After closing we regarded the uneven sod and the rear yard is acceptable. As far as the property being a hazard or dangerous because of the slope we just don’t feel like that is the case In fact, we believe if we revised the slope closer to Mr*** home and had a more severe slope towards the easement it would be more of hazard and there would be a greater chance for drainage issuesWe made a good faith effort to re-grade and re-sod the yard and it is similar to everyone’s home backing to the easement. Nevertheless we attempted to remedy Mr*** concerns but the repairs were not acceptable to the homeowner. Finally, DR Horton feels that the rear slope of the back yard is safe and acceptable and promotes positive drainage
We have addressed ** ***’s concerns to the best of our abilityHe had a sub-floor issue which was resolved back in October of To compensate *** *** we allowed him to select a upgraded carpet and had it installed for himAt that time he accepted the compensation and was
satisfied with our workThe home is now out of the year warranty period
