I am gathering some additional information on this situation with Mr*** It looks as though he is looking for some reimbursement for water usage due to a damaged irrigation control valve. Our Orlando Division does not do any owner reimbursements, as per our Chief Financial
Officer. The home is located in Apopka Florida, and in speaking with the engineering inspector, she would never have passed a final inspection on that system with the issues /damages Mr*** is reporting. They are extremely thorough on their inspections in this municipality. That being said, if for some reason, there is some money due to the owner, what our offices would do is write a check to this owners water company, with the owner account number, so it would be put directly onto their account. The owner would not receive any funds directly from DR Horton. *** ** ***Area Manager - Warranty / Customer Service

We are sorry to hear that *** *** feels that he was lied toThere were no deceptive practices performed. A few new plans were brought in to fit a need and were under construction and advertised on 7/8/16, before *** *** closed on 7/27/The referenced price point *** *** is
referring to is a 2,square foot home, which is the smallest square footage offered. We did sell this home at $244,990, or $square foot. We do not feel this is an inferior product, as the price per square foot is in line with the market and neighborhood. Home offerings are currently in the 2,247-3,square footage range and are selling and closing from $square foot to $square foot

Blame the victim and don't spend anything to fix your faults! I want the countertops I selected and bought, not these "leftovers".The "granite" countertops look like quartz and are made up of FIVE sections not the THREE in the Model "We changed that; we just didn't tell you" We also changed the TV outlets from a hidden box to a floorplate cable, incompatible with the Only provider available here.And DRH construction mishandled installation of master TV and power outlets location Doors and windows stick They have a whole list including yesterday's home inspection report.We'll see whether they man up and fix the problems or paint over it

*** ** Close date 10/27/ Drainage repairs have been made and I have personally observed them working as they were designed and intended during a very heavy rain stormThe homes behind drain over a retaining wall which is a city approved
drainage designMr*** backyard was re-graded, french and surface drains added, full gutters added at no charge to Mr*** to assist in removing the water from his yardWith the extreme rains we have had this year the soil is saturated and it takes some time for it to dry outThe yard is not holding waterWe do not feel that any additional repairs are needed Sincerely, *** *** Customer Service Manager

I have reached out to Ms* *** today for an appt with us and *** *** on Thursday, September 3rd. I am waiting her confirmation for the appt *** *** had to replace her floors right after she moved into the home, and now it appears that the glue has failed on
her new floors. *** *** has offered to upgrade her flooring at no cost to her of course for her inconveniences We are trying to schedule this appt in hopes to bring closure to her issue regarding her floors Her and her neighbor have experienced the same problem, she is wanting the meeting to be with them together. We have proposed for the meeting regarding her home to take place at her home so everyone involved can assess the issue she is having Thanks ***

We appreciate the customer bringing their concerns to our attentionUpon review with the division customer service team, the necessary repair vendors were unfortunately unsuccessful at reaching *** *** via phone to schedule their appointmentAs a result, each vendor placed the work order on
hold until further notice from the customerWe have notified each vendor that the homeowner has reached out and we have requested they each follow back up with the homeowner to schedule an appointmentAdditionally, a remediation company has been contracted to inspect the source of the leakWe look forward to resolving the customer concerns

We appreciate the customer's patience regarding the processing time for the refund checkWe have been in communication with the customer and expedited the refund accordingly to be sent out early this week

The D.RHorton Warranty Department understands the frustrations of *** *** *** and is proactively addressing his shower and tub issues with follow up calls and emails. Furthermore, we greatly apologize for *** ***’s misinterpretation of our concern for his issues as a forum for lying. Never would any of our Warranty staff ask nor tell another to lie for any cause and/or reason. *** *** was essentially told that he did not need to tell the Praxis technician about the shower having been pulled out nor, really, any of the particulars, as it is best left up to our Warranty Technicians to convey the needs for specific repairs and installsFinally, though *** *** is understandably frustrated, D.RHorton is no more responsible for his time away to address a plumbing problem as would be for any professional services rendered. We will continue to work with *** *** to resolve his tub/shower issues and do our best to accommodate his parameters of time available

Per research provided by the law firm noting industry standards developed by Tile Council of America, Incin the 2003-TCA Handbook, 41st Edition, I disagree that it was industry standard in to lay ceramic tile with a very thin mortar bed directly on a single layer wood subfloor As Mr*** mentioned, I met with him in my home in regarding our floor where it was his professional opinion that settling was the cause of the cracked and broken tiles and loose grout and that as a representative of DR Horton, the builder laid the floor in an acceptable manner He even asked us if we "maybe dropped something heavy on the floor" Our legal representation will contact him directly Since it is still the position of DR Horton that they laid the floor correctly, as stated in Mr*** Revdex.com response, I do not feel that scheduling a repeat inspection would be the best use of my time I maintain my opinion that DR Horton is responsible for the cost of the removal and CORRECT installation of a ceramic floor

I will happily resolve the claim when the work is complete in an acceptable mannerHowever, thus far the work, while scheduled in a timely fashion, has been done in an shoddy mannerThe toe kicks were pushed so far back there is clearly exposed, cracked tile in the bathroomBoth were installed completely crooked, not even close to straightThe painter got paint all over the baseboards and made no attempt to clean itThey also got paint all over the outlet and just left itThey sealed the bathroom molding in one area, but completely skipped another areaI gave DR Horton permission to schedule work without me being present, but since it is not being done properly, I have requested to be present for all future appointments.
