We can not only a claim on the boxes due to, we do not know how they was packed due to we was not the ones who packed it, ALSO the claim is still open but we have not gotten an email back from her

1.when the dispute arise we informed the customer that the phone calls are recorded according to the movers all plastic bins were used at the day of the move, the customer never mention this concern before during or after the move, this is the first time we are introduce to this matter - after the movers picked up already the platic bins on 12/* 3.customer received a txt message that the ETA is 7:00am - we received a phone call from *** at 8:15 asking where the movers are - the super informed the movers that the access to the elevator Will be only 8:am, even from the customer statement above, there is an acknowledgment that the movers arrived and couldn't not access or 8:30 - at least an hour was a delay that was not caused by dumbo moving 4.*** confirmed over the phone that there were extra items 5.*** and the movers confirmed that the items needed to go to the curb are additional as we described that we moved these items recently on a move that took place couple of month prior 6.*** demanded to speak to the ownerit was explained to *** that every department has a representative and a manager - sales, operation, marketing, claims and more - any issue related to the company need to be address to a specific department.Stephan took the liberty to email the owner - as the owner replied to the email - *** was using foul langue and threatening in order to get refund and free services. Evidently, customer service and negative feedback is not something your company is concerned withIt's avoidableIt just takes a phone callhe is free to call me Anthony c*** the claims manager here at dumbo moving at ###-###-####from am to 7pm from sunday to friday

I am resubmitting this action against this company, as your email went into my spam and I did not see your responseI used Dumbo moving for my move on 3/*/and was given a defined quote of $on job number *** for my moveAll the furniture was listed with my representative Misha and went over a few timesThe movers showed up on 3/*/and after they had all my family belongings on the truck the main driver pulled me aside and requested that I need to pay $more otherwise we are taking your stuff off the truckI’ve heard of these scams before from moving companies but didn’t realize it would happen to meI immediately reached out to my sales rep who would not take my phone callI had it escalated to manager at Dumbo named Hugo T*** who was rude and told me if you don’t pay us I will tell the drivers to take your belongings off the truck and we will leave your residence Keep in mind I was moving into my new home and I would have done this but considering my wife who is pregnant and my son who needs a roof over his head and since our lease was up on our house I had no choice but to pay the difference against my will given the situation I was inI’ve spoken to a few other people who used Dumbo moving before and it seems they do this to others as well after they have all your stuff on the truck which is a real scam and I tipped their drivers as wellI am requesting the $be credited to me otherwise I need to escalate this further
Refund me the $as this is not good business practice.

resolved because:Conditions of not covering certain materials are to be presented to customers in advance of the actually move and damages occurring not after which is what this company is doingI never agreed to my furniture not being insured because it is partly made of pressed woodThere was also damge deep scratches to the sides oif the chest that were moved uncovered and the side panels and drawers are made of solid wood
Second a complete contract with insurance cost was not provided to me prior to the moveI was not given the cost of insurance until after the damages occurredDue to the fact that my card information was on file from my paying the reservation fee/deposit of $on the morning of the move the moving payment was charged without even receiving a signed agreement or authorization from me while the issue and blank field of insurance was unresolved.
I am glad I kept my complete agreement packet for my recordsThe contract / bill of lading I signed states "my shipment is automatically valued at and insured for $5000.00" I did not sign the Option that states my "shipment will be valued at per pound for no additional charge" After the damages occured the mover apologized but he said "it will be ok dumbo covers this type of stuff" and said they would deliver a replacement piece if I am able to order a new one as a courtesy

I have my contract packet unsigned excluding the Bill of Lading which I did sign see attachedBill of Lading was page of your contract packet any documents beyond that page and signature are not valid. All documents were presented to me upon completion not in stages of the moveAll documents were signed after unloading and after seeing my furniture had been damaged beyond repair I didn't feel I was compelled to sign off and reject the company from any liability or replacementIn the shipment insurance portion of the BOL I initialed that I agree to options through which state that my 'shipment is automatically valued and insured for $5000.00...' which you can see on my yellow copy attached
Also please note for your future business that in the service acknowledgment agreement you are referencing ?it states in the firstp sentence first paragraph that 'The movers protect your household goods in a professional way...' such was not performed my chest was not protectedIt was wrapped in a torn blanket and only one blanket that did not cover the unit completelyThe areas of my chest that were not protected either from the lack of wrapping or the torn exposed portion that is where the damage occurred as you can see in my photosThere is an implied expectation for them to fulfill the first line of your agreement.
