At Dumbo moving & storage INC, we are in constant pursuit of perfection and are already working on solutions that will prevent similar problems from occurring in the future.We see that the damages is cosmetic damages. We only offer 60c per pound for items that can not be used anymore due to the damages. we apologies that you were not fully satisfied with your move with us : by responding to your email we are looking to find a common ground for the concerns from the move as a sign of good faith I offer you a $100 refund to keep you as a repeat customer - and hopefully you accept my apologies and find my explanation suitable - and with a promise that this will not happen again Thanks

Dear customer, I am sorry you fill dissatisfaction about our service... let me address your concerns about issues that you have mentioned.When you booked your move with us and contracted us to perform service you have signed contract that is based on your moving estimate and charges specified in our...

tariff.Your delivery window was explained to you before contracting us and one more confirmed on the day of the move. Furthermore we have written evidence of the delivery window that was agreed and statement from the pick up crew that they did not discuss any information about delivery with you. If you had any questions about your delivery window you could have always get straight, fast and honest answer from your sales rep or our long distance department. We did respect contract between us in every aspect and delivered your shipment at the delivery window that was specified. However on your end you were making changes in your availability that resulted with additional charge that was also credited in good faith.At the date when your shipment got in transit it was me that you have spoken to- I am Operations Manager and I have provided you with all facts and options. We have also offered you to totally cancel your service and return shipment to our storage in transit and refund you whole money for the move, also as a good faith sign- if you were unsatisfied with the service you also had option to totally cancel our service, we would have been happy not to service your shipment and to credit you all money that you have paid for the shipping. We do not wish to service unhappy customers- you had option to cancel our service at any point but you have chosen not to. No further credit will be granted for your move- our tariff is available for review at our main office as well as your contract. My bank already gave me back my money and you are once again blocked from charging my card.

spent in storage fees. Dumbo Moving told my legal counsel that I should take them to court if I refused the settlement amount. I do not have the legal means to do so, so I was forced to stop working with my legal counsel.  Please let me know if you need any additional information. I talked with the customer husband and that refund happened 5 days ago, we are still waiting for them to send a releaser form for that refund also  [redacted]

 the agreement that I signed with you does NOT specify the type of damage covered.  it only clearly states that you will pay for damage caused by the delivery of which I have an estimated 800 lbs worth.

 That is one lie after another.  No boxes were unpacked prior to the movers leaving therefore I could not know the pans were missing nor did anyone inform me I was to unpack my belongings in front of the movers.  Never did the movers ask me to inspect the truck therefore I did not inpsect the truck.  I would appreciate some professionalism from Dumbo Moving and Storage I have an email between Dumbo and myself that specifically says I did not watch the movers pack everything.  Again I was never informed I had to stand over each movers shoulder to inspect their work so I took the good word of the company and trusted them to perform the services they agreed to provide me and aside from that there was no way of knowing the pans were missing until unpacking began and nowhere in the contract did it say I had to complete my unpacking of my belongings on the same day they were delivered.  
I would like the to add the following to my rejected response: Per the contract I would like to pursue the 60 cents per pound of each missing item weighing a total of approximately 15 pounds which would be $9.00 Additionally, Dumbo Moving & Storage reached out to me this morning, August [redacted] asking to do a re-inspection of my things claiming they are missing bins of theirs.  On Tuesday, August *, Dumbo sent two of their representatives to pick up 25 bins and they removed them, I no longer have any property belonging to Dumbo moving and storage and ask that they do not contact me further with regard to this matter.   Thank you,[redacted]

 Business representative is a liar. He never attempted to resolve the issue. I never signed the inventory list as received, all complete boxes picked up at destination is what I asked for, I don't know why this is an issue if this is a legitimate business. This business should be scrutinized by the federal government for its malpractices. I need my belongings immediately. I'm done with this foul play and the irresponsibility of this business.

Insurance was never discussed with me by [redacted] nor was any paperwork signed by me or requested to be signed before proceeding with this move. The insurance I saw, which misleads the consumer, states that the shipment is automatically valued at and insured for $5,000.00.   THEY NEVER FINISHED THE jOB. I CALLED OTHER MOVERS TO FINISH THE JOB. I NEED A FULL REFUND FROM THIS BUSINESS AS THEY HARASSED ME FOR MORE MONEY ALL THE TIME THAN THE AGREED AMOUNT, THEY ALSO LIED ABOUT ALL THE COMMENTS THAT WE SHOWED THEM OTHER STUFF AND ADDED MORE STUFF TO BE MOVED. I FEEL THAT PEOPLE WHO DO BUSINESS LIKE THIS SHOULD BE BOYCOTTED. THEY PUT YOU TO A GUN POINT AND EXTRACT MORE MONEY FOR THE MOVE AS YOU ARE STUCK WITH THEM. I HAD VERY BAD EXPERINCE WITH THEM.

They just sent the exact same message. I want my bed to be built and this means that they tale responsibility for the parts they lost and install them or pay for a new bed.
