I have been a user in good standing of your service, but I just need to postpone my payment one month due to COVID issues and my partner missing a who
I have been using the service for a long time, and have always paid back, but they say that you can only postpone a payment once. I don't want to have to file a stop payment with the bank, but I need my payback postponed to August 1. My partner missed work due to protests and COVID and I just need some breathing room to pay my July rent. I have always been a reliable customer, I've always tipped, and I think you can make an exception in this case.

Desired Outcome

I just want my repay date postponed from June 30 to Aug 1.

We have agreed upon a solution with this community member. We have rescheduled the debits for 07/31. We are always available if the community member needs further assistance.

Their customer service was very quick and accurate service. Very friendly and took care of All of my issues. Has gotten me out of a pinch many times. All they ask is you pay back the loan on your next payday amd pay it forward in the form of a tip system.

This app is awesome. Has saved me so much money in overdraft fees and the hassle of dealing with the bank.. I wish there was more apps like this!! Customer service is incredible!! They are always available and take care of any questions and concerns ASAP..

The Earnin app experienced a glitch, withdrawing $100 from my bank account four full days before payday, which caused my account to overdraw.
My account will not save properly so i.t. was supposed to help but it's been a week, they aren't even attempting to address the overdraft fee they caused, and I wasted 20+ hours on the phone because they won't let me speak with a superior or i.t. so the info they're sharing with one another is inaccurate. They're being rude and unhelpful, which is infuriating because it's my money they've messed with!

Desired Outcome

I want my overdraft fee of $36 refunded and I'd like a formal investigation into their predatory lending AND an audit of how they handle data. I had numerous reps ask for my banking number! Unacceptable.

Novanne in Earnin Customer service has been so helpful and saved me a lot of stress by getting my issues corrected so quickly. Due to Covid 19 the customer service worked short handed but they did an amazing job. They all deserve the highest rewards possible. I recommend this app to everyone . Its the best app on the market you are able to pay it forward, leave tips all kinds of great options if I could give a higher star rating I would give earning the highest . It has saved me alot of times thank you support team and everyone at earning for helping us

They always come through in a pinch, they're always as quick as possible, they're always professional, and they're always polite. This team goes out their way to make every interaction the best it can be. I've never had a long-standing issue with them, and they've never shorted me on that helpful financial push right when I needed it. I've left other, more traditional lenders for Earnin, and I'm so happy I did it. I'll never go back. This is home now.

Very helpful when you need a few dollars to hold you over until payday. Also good if you have a debit coming out of your account right before payday and you don't have enough in your account to cover it. I've had to use the live chat feature several times and the customer service is great. They always resolve my issue immediately and don't finish the chat until I check to make sure it's fixed in the app.

Earnin took money from my bank account 3 days before the actual date.
I cash out $50 from Earnin 4 different times which brings it to $200 that I borrow. And was told the $200 will be withdrawn from my account on 6/8/2020. Today I checked my bank account balance and noticed my account was overdrawn because Earnin took out there funds on 6/5/2020 instead of 6/8/20/2020 I contacted Earnin through chat and all they keep telling me it's pending I said it's pending and put my account into a negative status. And for me to contact my bank I told them I had this issue before and that my bank said whenever a merchant sends over a transaction it automatically goes through. My pay day is 6/8/2020 and that is when Earnin is supposed to debit their $200 all they have been giving me is the run around very rude I ask a few times to speak with a supervisor or a manager which they kept coming up with excuses. I think this is unfair that Earnin has taking there money out 4 days early. But they are blaming my bank in which it's not the faught of Fifth Third bank it's Earning fault. Now my account is overdrawn. They lie to you and tell you we will take the money out of your account on your pay day which is a big lie. Contacting them through the chat is usless they seems to not care they are very rude and don't care. And disconnect the chat. This company is a fraud by all means.

Earnin schedules our debits on your payday. We send the debit transactions before the actual debit date for processing. However, we do not change the debit date from what we have your payroll set up as. For example, if you are seeing a pending transaction on a Friday, but your payday is Monday, your debits are in the processing stage and will still be debited on Monday.

After reviewing this community member's account and their previous chat transcripts, this community member was debited on the correct day and the debits were posted on 6/8. When the community member initially chatted in to Earnin, the debits in question were still pending with the bank. Screenshots provided by the community member clearly show these debits in a pending state. On our end, we see that these debits were posted on the community member's payday of 6/8 as agreed upon.

We apologize for any confusion this has caused and hope this puts some color on why the community member saw pending transactions before their payday.

I give Earnin a star rating , Earnin has helped me since the first day I installed the app . I've had this app for over a year now and ive only had one issue sending in my bank statement soon as I contacted Earnin I received support right away, Mary Grace who works with Earnin was great she got right to my issue and was taking care of within less then 10 minutes .. Earnin has a great support team and I recommend this app to everyone . its the best app on the market you are able to pay it forward, leave tips all kinds of great options if I could give a higher star rating I would give earning the highest .. I can say so much great things about this app . it has saved me alot of times . thank you support team and everyone at earning for helping us

Unauthorized debits of my bank account.
I setup a payment plan with earnin to pay back the money I owed. I authorized them to debit my account on 5/1/2020 and every 2 weeks after. They attempted to process the payment the day before which caused my account to charged $34 for nsf fees. I contacted them, sent a screen shot of the the unauthorized debit and charge. The rep via live chat, said that she saw that the due date was 5/1 but refused to refund me the $34. She said they would not refund me until I paid them back first. I advised that they caused the problem by going into my account on the wrong day. Nevertheless, she said they would not refund me for their error. I then advised, for her to cancel the payment plan, and sent an email on 5/2, advising them to cancel the direct debit authorization. They have not canceled the payment plan, and they keep going into my account and causing me to be charged by my bank. They have since then, went into my account four more times, which causes me to get a charged by my bank.

I had to put a stop payment on this company with my bank, which cost me another fee. Due to not working due to this covid situation, I dont have any money coming in, therefore, im not using my bank account, so I didnt know anything was wrong until now.

After I placed a stop payment by my bank, they have now switched to using my debit card, which they have never used before.

I have sent another email and still havent heard back from them.

Desired Outcome

I want the nsf fees that i have been charged back from them, and to stop going into my bank account.

This is a great company and app! I have been using Earnin for a few months now, and I have no issues or complaints. They have always been helpful and quick with assistance when I have needed to make changes to my account or upload documents. Novanne was the last chat agent with whom I had contact, and she was polite, courteous, and helpful. I appreciate Earnin, even more so in these times, as there is no interest rate to borrow, when I request money, it shows up in my account immediately, and if I need to take money out again, I can get any amount up to $100 right away. Great service! THANK YOU!

Marie was very respectful and helpful during our chat and was able to help me with no problem.
I got the sense that even if she couldn't have helped me, Marie wanted to help and takes her job seriously.
Great customer service is not common anymore, so when you receive it, it stands out.
