I chose this rating because I found *** to be very patient, and extremely kind despite my own attitude. I began the conversation a bit aggressive and expressed my discontent with the previous Earnin representative that I had spoken toâ?? Because I felt as though my issue was one that could've been easily resolved. My issue was: getting my payday changed and having my account reflect the change in pay cycle. Long story short, my problem was resolved and I am happy with the service I received

An email was received advertising a pay period increase, there was no increase. Customer Support treated me like an it and blatantly lied to me.
I received an email on February 23rd, 2020 stating that my pay period max withdrawal will increase from *** to *** My next pay period from that date was February 25th, 2020. I checked my account and my max was still *** I went to the support chat and showed the email. They told me my next pay period was March 10th, 2020. I informed them of the date the email was received. Then they told me it was in reference to a 'max boost' I had requested that day. I informed them that I received the email before requesting the boost and that max boosts are only for *** and are for the current pay period. In addition to that, I had received a different email outlining the max boost, further evidence that this email in question was NOT referring to the max boost. The support rep then became frustrated with me and terminated the chat after 30 seconds of me typing a response. I then submitted another chat request and was connected with the same rep, who then tells me she escalated the issue and is going to increase my max by *** and they will not increase it to *** as the email stated. The support staff clearly doesn't have the training necessary to deal with issues and it seems like they are trained only on how to make consumers believe that they are in the wrong. This isn't the first issue I've had with the support staff either. In the past they tried to take money out of my account before the pay dates I put in the system and before that, I had noticed that on the screen that lists things that increase your max, one of which was referring co-workers, the support staff told me they don't do that and that I'm 'confused' the exact same line they gave me this time around.

Desired Outcome

I have the emails as proof, I want the issue resolved and my max increased to *** like the documentation promises.

I appreciate the issue being resolved and in a timely manner. It's unfortunate that such a small issue required a complaint with the Revdex.com. In the future I hope Earnin will train their support staff a bit better.

Earnin is a great source for cash when you really need it. The Customer service representatives are awesome!!!

I have had some hiccups with the app, however the customer service has bee SUPERB! Any issue has been corrected in a timely manner. All reps have been knowledgable, beyond helpful. I recommend this app regularly.

I know pay day loans have gotten a bad rep over the years.. and rightfully so .. this is not a payday loan kind of thing..I would/and do suggest this service to everyone.to date they have been straight forward with me and don't make me feel like I'm begging for money but instead I feel Ike a part of a community that helps even if they don't need help ...I've used the payout feature even when I haven't needed it just so I can tip and keep this thing f

I have never had any financial issues with this company, and anytime minor issues came up (couldn't connect with bank, timesheet not accepted) the chat function always 100% took care of my issue! Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly and helpful.

"I messaged in a panic Monday was a holiday so my check (unknowingly was late) because of this causing major panic on my end. He calmed me down fixed the payment dates so if a holiday happens again I'm covered. 10 stars for him!"

I have been using using Earnin for two months and it has helped me manage a few situations that I could not have handled without it, including a short vacation. The customer service agents are skilled and knowledgeable about the products and the services and have been able to help me understand some of the subtle nuances of my situation. Bank connection never fixed after almost two weeks.
I was really happy with the app up until almost two weeks ago. My account says my bank connection is bad and asked to log into my checking account to check for error messages, then try to log in again. I've done that multiple times as well as called the bank to see if it's a problem on that end. I've chatted with support a few times and each time nothing gets resolved. I've collected a overdraft fee on my account because my earnin hasn't been working and I relied on that to help this pay period.

Desired Outcome

I just wish it would work better and connect so I could have that little bit extra money in my account.

We sincerely apologize that this community member has been experiencing bank connection issues with the app. We reached out to the community member via email but unfortunately, after our last interaction we have not heard back from the community member. We urge her to check her email so we can appropriately address the problem and come to a resolution.

Absolutely love this company. It is so helpful to be able to get emergency funds without having to turn to loan shark (check advance) company. I can get access to my own money in advance and they have the best customer service reps. My Community Advocate, Ivy June, was so helpful and knowledgeable and helped me get my account set up without a hitch. Thank you Earnin for helping hard working Americans when they really need it!
