I am rejecting this response because:
Empire today is aware that my wife and me are unable to take anymore time off of work that I have lost 4 days of pay due to appointments that they failed to show up to. I find it very sad that they continue to remedy the situation by attempting to set up inspection appointments on a moments notice in the middle of the work week with no flexibility on appointment time. Inspector informed me would be passing thru my area and it was either that time and day or it would have to wait until it was convenient for him the next time he was in my area. I am done with having to bend over backwards to accommodate Empire Carpet. I have afforded them 4 opportunities and on all occasions I have been failed. Please just refund half of my total bill. This equates to the promised service that you have failed to provide we can part ways and I can pay a qualified carpenter to repair all of the damage your company has left in my home.
Sincerely,
Brad [redacted]

We have spoken to the customer with regard to the stair replacement; the risers would be the same material and color of the flooring.
We appreciate the customer contacting us regarding their concerns. We have spoken with the customer and completed services on April 29, 2017. We appreciate the customer’s feedback and consider this matter resolved.
The local General Manager spoke to the customer’s husband on August 25th then exchanged voicemail messages on August 28th and has left several messages for the customer since without reply. We would be happy to move forward at the customer’s earliest convenience with the site inspection as...
requested.

I am rejecting this response because: The order WAS NOT scheduled for November 23rd. It was RESCHEDULED for November 23rd when Empire failed to come thru on what we paid for. We paid to have laminate and carpet installed on the 19th of November. Our moving truck was to arrive on the 20th. We paid $4,000 to have the installation on Saturday the 19th, before the moving truck, so we could properly move in. We were never told the laminate and carpet contractors would be separate. Furthermore, we were never contacted about the carpet contractor pulling out of the job for Saturday. It wasn't until we called Empire that they told us what was happening. This was after we confirmed with them the day and week prior. The customer service was less than helpful. They were continuously flip. When I got in touch with the business (before the Revdex.com), they continued to say there was nothing they could do. This is unacceptable. We expect more than just $200 as compensation. They failed on their end. We want more money back.
Sincerely,

this response because: The original install was October 27, 2015, it is now December 16 and the repairs are still not finished. During the first attempt from Empire to repair the mistakes made during the original install, they sent workers when no one was home to let them in. After that failed, we rescheduled the repair work and they sent out the wrong materials for the job. We asked them to repair the trim, transitions, and flooring in the spots that weren't installed correctly. They only sent new quarter round. We then had to call back twice to try and reschedule the repair work. Empire was not helpful or cooperative when we told them what still needed repaired. They sent out an inspector to assess the amount of repairs needed to be done. The inspector told us that there was enough problems with the install that replacing all the flooring would be necessary. After rescheduling the repair work for December 12, 2015 we had hope it would get done. Diana [redacted] was who we rescheduled with but she failed to let the installers know about the work order, so when Saturday December 12th arrived, no one came to our house. We then contacted someone at Empire that same day and they said they forgot to put it on the schedule for the installers to come out. So after many attempts to get this flooring finished we are tired of being lied to by Empire. Every time we call to speak with someone to resolve this issue and get this repair work finished they fail to deliver on their promises. We feel they do not respect our business or care about finishing our flooring at this point. You can see why we are rejecting their response to our complaint. We are very disappointed in the actions of Empire in attempts to finish our flooring. We have only been requesting that they deliver the product we were promised from the beginning. At this point in the process, we would like to have our floor completely replaced or our money refunded.
Sincerely,
Brandon [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: No credit has been applied as of now to our account. As of last week we'd heard about $500 being credited, my wife reached out for clarification that this was for the services provided. They were also checking with the installation manager regarding the broken television.I am not accepting 500 as resolution as it does not address all of my concerns. This impacted 3 work days for my wife and I (not only waiting the first day and installation day, but the day following installation since they worked from 4pm (approx) until 5:15am (actual time they pulled out of my driveway).
An appropriate resolution that I will accept accounts for the inconvenience of the experience and SEPERATELY replaces the tv they broke by piling items into an area that the tv was moved (so it wouldn't be broken). I will accept 500 for the misery of the experience as a discount for product & services ONLY if they agree to replace the tv in addition to the $500. Otherwise I will not accept their resolution as satisfactory
Sincerely,
