Review: I never ordered this product . They just left the package on my doorstep ! No return stamp . Now I have to pay to return this stuff !Desired Settlement: I want them to take back the product and pay me the money that it cost to return .

Review: After feeling pressured about this Septic System product that was the best, in fact the premise was it couldn't be improved. I was very foolish and didn't have my septic system cleaned because I was told that by by purchasing Activator Liquid I wouldn't need to. To my dismay I had a septic system back up in my downstairs bathroom. It went into my laundry room, the sludge mixture backed up into my washer and into tne recreation room. That was my first experience cleaning up sludge. I called and talked to Joe at EPI Inc. and he told me to send copies of the receipts for the cleaning of the septic system and blockages that occurred due to using Activator Liquid. He said I would be compensated for the monies I spent. I used it as per instructions. I sent the paperwork that he requested the week of 2/17/2015, to Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated for the septic and pipe blockage expenses. The total cost was $570.00. I would also like to have the money that I spent for the activator liquid refunded. The cost was $139.98. Realistically I should be given compensation for cleanup.

Response:

They ordered the product over a year ago, they are a re-ordering customer as well, we refund the purchase price of the product it is sent in writing and is the first thing seen when they open the box. they mailed in a copy of the pump-out on 3-15-2015 and have to return the unused portion of the product and once that is returned we will refund the purchase price 139.98 plus there shipping charges for the return of the product.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I didn't receive the product a year before I talked to Joe [redacted]. He never told me to send the rest of the Activator Liquid back.

I received the activator Liquid the week of March 19, 2014. I notified him of the septic backing up on the 19th of February. I used the Activator Liquid as directed by Mr. [redacted] so there is only a small amount left. I will be glad to return it as soon as the EPI company sends me a postage paid shipping container. The agreement of a full refund for any problems was between Mr. [redacted] and myself. So I guess it means that the company will do what they want as far as the refund that I am requesting. I did send him a copy of the invoice that was in the shipment of the Activator Liquid. I will resend it or fax it if necessary.

Response:

The guarantee stipulates that you mail in a copy of your pump-out and return the unused portion to the company and we refund your postage and your purchase price of the product, but since you used all of the product we will refund your purchase price today, it will mailed out 05-01-2015.

Review: Activator 2000 Septic cleaning product sent to Mrs [redacted] in December 2014, was not ordered by Mrs [redacted].

Returned invoice to company with request to send return mail label to send product back in January 2015.

Company called in February 2015 requesting payment, advised we were waiting for label to return product that was not ordered.

Received a call in February 2015 requesting payment, advised we were waiting for return label to return. Advised at that point that we do not do business that way, the consumer must pay for return.

Again asked for mailing label, as this is the second time they have sent this product to Mrs [redacted] last shipment was returned at her expense, can not afford to keep doing this.......

Recived letter Feb 17 that they are turning account over to National Collection Agency.

Mrs [redacted] is 87 year ols and homebound under doctor care and can not afford this hassle and aggravation. she live in a apartment and does not have a septic tank.Desired Settlement: Request the charge of $149.98 be credited to this account - name cleared from Collection agency - send return label for product return - company promises not to contact Mrs [redacted] in future. Thank you.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:

After 25 days we still have not received ship back label, also received letter from [redacted], head of customer relation, dated FEBRUARY 17, 2015, advising that they are in the process of forwarding to National collection agency. That does not match what they are saying happened Jan 2015.This is the second time they have sent product with out permission to Mrs [redacted], last time we were told she was put on dnc list also. They need to stop preying on the elderly.

Review: I was called on the phone by this company that I have done business with in the past. I wasn't satisfied with the product. The employee on the phone was trying to sell me more of the product. I told him I wasn't interested. He kept trying to get me to agree to let him send me the product. I continued to tell him I didn't want it. He said he was going to ship it anyway. I disconnected the call. Several days later [redacted] arrived with a package I assumed was for my son. It was the product I insisted that I didn't want. After calling the company back the lady whom answered the phone said they didn't accept returns and that they never shipped anything with out the customer saying they wanted it.Desired Settlement: I want this company to send me a prepaid label to ship this back to them and for them to never call my house again.

Response:

We will send a label for her to return the product, We are sorry for the mix up....

Review: They were offering a "sample special" to Try their septic product. I had agreed to be sent samples, only to later learn they sent me a 4 yr supply!!!

when approached about the samples, I said that I must first run this product idea past the seller of my house, who had lived there for 10plus yrs, and that since it was summer, and that he was out of town, I was unclear how long that would take to get confirmation. I was Very clear that I was unwilling to put anything down our septic without getting approval from him.

the sales person said -- oh don't worry about how long it takes to get an approval from the seller, we will mark your account! the sales person insisted that I take advantage of the limited time sample offer -- so that I could try the product. then about 1.5 months later -- I was getting calls from the billing dept saying to pay my bill?! I told the billing dept -- I did not order a product, only a sample -- and then he told me, we sent the bill inside the box of your 2 yr supply! I said -- I never asked for this. he then told me not to worry and to just get an answer from the seller.

they had sent a small box in july, which I never opened, so this is why I did not know there was a bill. in september the seller confirmed that I should not use any extra products in the septic.

now they tell me that I was recorded, when the shipping dept called me to confirm I ordered the sample -- which I did confirm that I was ordering samples, as well as I confirmed my ship to address.Desired Settlement: I do not want to be listed on any of their marketing lists, nor do I want to be listed as a dead beat customer -- as I shipped the product back to them on monday (13 OCT)- in the same original UNOPENED box. this was shipped before via [redacted] to me, but [redacted] would not return to sender, b/c they listed a PO BOX!!

I expect them to confirm receipt of the box with product as well as confirm that they are not expecting any money from me

Response:

We send the product out, the full supply for the 30 days , the customer can use and try it, plus see exactly what it is before they purchase it. Then and at the end of the month they can make there purchasing decision. they can return it or start making payments. We are sorry for the misunderstanding we will close the account out and put [redacted] on our do not call or contact list. please let us know if there was any postage paid , mail in a copy of the receipt or just tell us what they paid and we will refund it..

I too am on the Do Not Call Registry and [redacted] had supposedly addressed the issue of unwanted calls themselves but alas they got through. I responded to a computer generated call asking if I would like more information regarding their super product that would successfully handle all our waste system costly pump outs and repairs. Then I got a phone call from a very pervasive man boasting about this great product & the money it would save on repairs. I was told the literature I originally requested would be delivered with my first year supply of the product and if I was unsatisfied I could return it. Once I received this product I was able to find lots on the internet about this company. The problem is it is all bad. I called for myself and stated I did not want their product & the young lady became very rude & told me if I didn't like the product to ship it back at my expense. That is exactly what I intend to do. Along with a tracking number from the USPO. Beware. If it sounds too good to be true; it probably is.
