HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! If you want to have your kids sleep on the floor until they decide to get your furniture to you- this is the company for you! If you want to HELP move your own furniture (that's right, the whole reason you hired them!) then this is the company for you! Hiding behind fine print, horrible customer service, and lies is what this company does bestSave yourself the money and stress - don't go with Excalibur! [redacted] ***, & [redacted] could sell ice to an Eskimo- they aren't the ones sleeping on the floor!

This moving company was deceptive and unethical in their practicesDemanded 56% higher payment, demanded cash, threatened not to deliver goods This company should not be permitted to operateMy nephew obtained a quote of $for a move from PA to NC They increased the price of the move by $the day of packing/loading with no supportThe day of the move, they called hours before they were supposed to arrive, demanding the final payment in CASH and changed to a 'shuttle truck' (saying that their truck wouldn't fit), adding another $At that point I intervened and called the driver to assure him that the truck would easily fit He said it was 'too late', and then threatened me that if we were not there with the cash, they would leave with his belongings Upon arriving hours late, they then demanded another $to move the items up stairs We ended up moving the items ourselves to avoid the additional expense, which caused additional back injuries for my husband

When I canceled my move with Excalibur They said could take up to days for the refundPoor customer service and now they wont take my calls Problem date began on 9/25/when refund was not done by ExcaliburPurchase date was 9/3/Job number is CXXXXXXXSale rep [redacted] I paid $as down paymentPaid with credit cardContacted them again to find out about refund 9/25/and all the way up to 10/17/And my wife and either get put on hold or sent to voice mail or they just hang up the phoneI was told it could take up days at one point for the refund with a percent charge for paperworkI said fine just refund the difference and still nothing

Excalibur Moving Group violated their contract by hiring a moving company that was not authorized by the FMCSAThey claim they used a spirit van lines out of Illinois with an active DOT number but when I called that company they had no record of my name or moveThe moving company who handled my moved was based in Norcross GeorgiaI have notified the Illinois office of this fraud Account_Number: [redacted] (Excalibur

I contracted with Excalibur Moving Group in Boynton Beach, FL to move my belongings from Wichita, KS to Pensacola, FL in December Excalibur Moving Group is a broker to the mover, [redacted] with Platinum Vanlines ( [redacted] said he is the owner of Platinum Vanlines)My experience thus far has consisted of poor customer service with no follow up, no returned calls, and NO delivery of my belongingsEverything began on 12/19/with a call from Excalibur's customer service giving wrong info about arrival date & time of moverWhen [redacted] showed up, he was lateHe had a helper who was properly dressed for the cold weather and his year old son with him [redacted] & his son were wearing short sleeves and had no jacketsMy daughter and I had to "baby sit" ***'s son, [redacted] , while he and his helper loaded my belongingsHis son was hungry, so we fed him a snackThey broke the stair rail and were rough with my thingsIt was agreed verbally that my clothes would deliver seperately

This company sold our move to a company that should not be in businessThey take no accountability for the damages or trouble caused by the decision This is a moving BROKER not a moving companyDo NOT hire them if you value your belongings, time, or moneyHiring this moving BROKER was one of the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCES OF OUR ENTIRE LIVES! Complete RIPOFFScroll to the bottom and read the star reviews HIDDEN by them Excalibur Moving Group prostituted our move to the lowest bidder, in our unlucky case, a piece of [redacted] moving company called HQ MoversExcalibur changed subcontractors multiple times, calling us to say, "If xxxx calls you, tell them they aren't doing your move anymore." The subcontractors that Excalibur Moving Group chose showed up unprepared, with inadequate packing materials, and scratched, chipped, broke, and LOST our belongings, that they kept for FOUR WEEKS They didn't have enough packing boxesWe had a dozen [redacted] toy storage boxes that are pe

Excalibur brokered my move (without my knowledge) to a company that operates without complying with DOT laws and without insurance. I hired Excalibur on 12/15/17. They didn't make final delivery of my items until 2/20/18 after missing 7 delivery dates. Upon final delivery, I immediately notified them of my damaged and missing items. They stated the company they hired for the move would be responsible. However that company is operating without insurance and refuses to call me back or respond. I have filed complaints with the DOT and Dept. of Justice. I just want my stuff back or my claim to be settled so I can purchase my missing things valued at over $10K work of items.

Excalibur Moving Group provided subpar service breaking most items and losing othersThey attempted to extort me for additional funds multiple times Copied from my complaint to Excalibur April 16, Per our conversation, there were several serious issues with my move A: TOTAL FAILURE TO PROVIDE SERVICE Many of my belongings were destroyed - The dollhouse that my grandfather made for me by hand was destroyedThis is an irreplaceable heirloom When I commented that this was not OK, I was told that I would have had to pay $60+ dollars for a box for this item if I didn't want it destroyed - All units with wheels were broken and need to be replacedWhen I commented on this to the movers I was told that "people don't understand that these things are in a truck going over mountains They get shaken up a lot." This is not my first cross-country move, none of my items were broken on my previous move (with Mayflower, who did an excellent job)It is NOT common practice

Charged without service When booking through this broker I discussed with them the needs of my moveI informed them of the absolute deadline that I would need to be out of my old apartmentHe then told me that they would set a piwindow for my belongings that would include the final move out dateI agreedTwo days before the move I received an update call stating that everything was on time at ready to goOn the day of my move the movers called and stated they were backed up on another moveI informed them that my lease was up and this move had been arranged over a month earlierThey stated there was nothing they could doThey never showed up but still charged me over dollars in feesI continuously tried to call a supervisor or some representative of the companyNo one would answerThey took my money then ignored my callsI submitted a dispute with my bankHowever, Excalibur furnished a copy of a cancellation policyI never canceledExcalibur did not show up!

We opted for a binding price. The contract was very clear and we did just as we were required to do. Paid the deposit and set the dates. The movers never called on the day they were scheduled for pick up. I had to call Excalibur dispatch. Then after 6pm the driver calls and tells me they will be there tomorrow. So a day late. They said 9am. Never called us. Showed after 10am. Then advised us that the move was larger than the estimate and that Excalibur lies on the phone we needed to pay more. This is where it just gets worse. We can't get anyone on the phones initially. When we finally do [redacted] an Operations Manager does all this haggling to get us to a "fair price" with the driver as if we don't have a contract and tells me I only signed an estimate. But we are getting a good deal and great movers. [redacted] agrees that there were some issues and we would be reimbursed 200.00 due to this. We sign to pay what we have agreed upon. The movers began loading us. We paid over 4k for a platinum

Completely unprofessional and failed to complete terms of contract Customer service rep was hitting a vape pen while on the phone with me They failed to complete the terms of the contractThey lied about the terms Of the contract regarding payment due on deliveryThey failed to pick up my load within the timeframe they were contracted toThey have failed to deliver my load with in the contracted time frame - even counting from the pick up date and not the original dateThey told me delivery fee was based on weight and that there was a weigh less pay less term on contract yet I am due to pay more according to the company the brokered out (which is another issue as I was told that it would be them and their truck picking up my load) because of the cubic feetNo one EVER said anything about having to pay based on cubic feetThey spoke to the trucking company AS ME and so when I called the trucking company that is doing the delivery he said to me "I just talked to you" no, h

Fraudulent claims with regard to service; overcharging I contracted with Excalibur for move from Albuquerque NM to MI The salesman first quoted me $1,as a price and advised that the truck would need to be within feet of the door to the building and that I would receive a free flight of stairs for the move They then sent my move to a different company, Eden Eden defined "flight of stairs" as steps, while the Excalibur contract had no such definition They also measured the distance from the truck to the apartment interior door (even though the contract did not define the "destination" as an interior door)They charged me hundreds of additional dollars as a resultThey also charged me an ADDITIONAL $booking fee with Eden -- also not in the contract with ExcaliburI emailed them twice with complaintsI called several times They refuse to respond They did not advise verbally or in their contract that they would be selling my contract to a different company W

This move has been nothing but a headache, pure stress and just traumatizing for me to the point I should have just sold everything and bought it when I movedI am a single mom of an infant and this company did there best to sweet talk me into going with there company Never informing me that other companies would be picking up/dropping offThey advised they would do it and it would be smooth and a stress free move Lies My items were picked up on 5/2/I was told they would be there between 9-they never showed up till almost very unprofessional movers showed up to my house and while loading my things where not careful by any meansScratched my floors, thought it was an inconvenience to them when I asked them to take there trash with them and rushed me thru signing documented and quickly explaining the documents (after which I found out what was explained what's not what I was signing at all.) After my items were loaded I was at that time told it could worst case take 1-days to get my itemsAFTER MY ITEMS WERE LOADED AND PAID I WAS TOLD THIS! Well...fast forward to today 5/19/ I still have no belongingsI call every day for an ETA and every day I have been told there is no Eta At this timeI also asked for a weight ticket and found out they didn't weigh my truckThey said it takes to long andSometimes is out of the way for moversNot my problemThey rudely stated 'we can weight your truck but you will pay anything it weighs over' I responded with no I will not since I was told I would never pay what was over my contract that that price was over weight and I would be refunded what it was over but I would never pay more I've been speaking to [redacted] and [redacted] and a very rude girl who I can never get her nameIm so beyond mad and want my belongingsPreferably undamaged but with the way things have gone im not hopefulSave yourself and find a new moving company

The company agreed to refund all but percent of my money however, I have yet to receive it I hired the company to move my stuff on Jul I called them back on Jul and stated I no longer needed their serviceAccording to the contract, I had a hour grace period where I would get all but percent of my deposit backI was first told the money was gone and they would not be able to get itThen, they told me they would be able to refund it however, they would need a couple of daysI then noticed in the contract they wanted the cancellation in writingI emailed the company using the exact email they had in the contract and requested a cancellationI heard nothing backI wrote them again on Jul however, heard nothingI called them today at and was told they were just opening the doors, took my name and stated somebody would get back with me as soon as they openedNobody called me backAll I am looking for is my refund

canceling move from Ohio to Arizona in February 2018, my NOW EX-girlfriend and I hired Excalibur moving group, when my ex girlfriend and I broke up, I ended up calling them to cancel, they said on the phone "only canceling within hours after purchase, it should be within hours from the date of move, so one of the "managers said" went to cancel and get refund

I have looked through a quote and did inquire about the upcoming move I did want to get a quote forThe woman I talked with was amazing she helped me out so much with setting up an account for me and getting me to the right place I am confident they are definitely who I'm going for when I make my move!

We contracted with Excalibur to move belongings from Fort Worth to Palo Alto, CAThey agreed to refund $it has been about weeks and no refund
WE contracted with Excalibur on August to move items from Fort Worth, TX to Palo Alto, CAI was assured by *** that I could pay the second installment by credit card and have cash on delivery do to logisticsI repeatedly call to make the second payment but no one could find out how I was supposed to pay the second installmentThe communication with Excalibur and Out of State Movers was terrible We were charged $above the quoted price for the moveNeither company communicated when the driver was arrivingSince we needed to have cash on delivery we were calling several days a week to try to anticipate thisUltimately we got a call that the driver was arriving the next day so we had to pay extra for a money gram delivery to my son as he does not have a bank in the area and he took the rest on a credit card advance which char

Constantly changed estimates rec'd about different ones then they would erase them so there was no way to see what changed to discuss with them
Excalibur (***) pressured me to sign documents I did not understand, *** complained about how much time he was taking on this move and would not grant me one hour to compare the contracts If I cancelled this move I would be out $(my deposit)I was not told they were a broker, or bring my attention to the additional pages which I had to download to read I was told to have checks in the amount of $768.oo one I gave to the people who loaded the truckthe other was for end deliveryThe loading men said it would be about days after the 30th it should be deliveredI had car trouble and had to buy another car which I which I bought 1/30/I arrived at my friends' home that afternoon 2/1/I figured no problem, I have days ($0.01) The movers said they would not accept the check I was requested to purchase it had to be c
