Fraudulent claims with regard to service; overcharging
I contracted with Excalibur for move from Albuquerque NM to MI The salesman first quoted me $1,as a price and advised that the truck would need to be within feet of the door to the building and that I would receive a free flight of stairs for the move They then sent my move to a different company, Eden Eden defined "flight of stairs" as steps, while the Excalibur contract had no such definition They also measured the distance from the truck to the apartment interior door (even though the contract did not define the "destination" as an interior door)They charged me hundreds of additional dollars as a resultThey also charged me an ADDITIONAL $booking fee with Eden -- also not in the contract with ExcaliburI emailed them twice with complaintsI called several times They refuse to respond They did not advise verbally or in their contract that they would be selling my contract to a different company W

They did not complete the contract because they did not securely store and deliver furniture according to the contract
When they came to our new house they delivered less then half of the items we entrusted to them and promised the delivery of the rest in a couple of daysNever happened
Thousands of dollars worth of items are missingWe are in the process of listing the missing items and their valueIt is already over items and of course the file cabinet with all our records is missing as well
The contract was with Excalibur then they subcontracted the move out to Platinum Van Lines Moving and StorageBut all our contact has been with Excalibur Moving Group LLC

Take the Money then get angry make promises do not keep their promises do not answer the phone put on hold never and keep your moneyReally big time Thieves

canceling move from Ohio to Arizona
in February 2018, my NOW EX-girlfriend and I hired Excalibur moving group, when my ex girlfriend and I broke up, I ended up calling them to cancel, they said on the phone "only canceling within hours after purchase, it should be within hours from the date of move, so one of the "managers said" went to cancel and get refund

Almost double the original quote, our furniture was damaged & some of our property was left at the warehouse
I wish my wife had looked at Yelp before hiring these clowns and read the rating below my postI wish I had been in Texas when the robbers came and preyed on my wife while she was grieving the lost of her mother
To start Sergio Ciotti (Sales) gave her a quote for $based on the items we she told him we had then asked for a deposit of $620, this was on 1/Then we were supposed to pay $at pick up and $at drop offThen on the 2/some guy named Walt White called her and made up some BS excuse and asked for $more and told her that she would not have to pay anything at pick upNow keep in mind the original quote was $My wife was told that a company called State to State was picking up our furniture and it would take to days for deliveryThen they called the morning of (1/16) to say that State To State broke down and Platinum would be comingThis

they have no idea where are items are that we contracted with them to move from mesa az to grand forks,nd on Jan 9th,- they had subcontracted
We had contracted with excalibur moving for a move from mesa, az to grand forks, nd on Jan 9, We were never informed that they were subcontracting this move out Turns out the subcontracted with a Platinum Moving Company - we have never received our items and no one knows where it isExcalibur blew off our concerns for months before finally admitting they didn't know where out items where or can't contact there subcontractor We are out about 12,worth of items

Excalibur defrauded us out of our deposit and failed to find us movers for amount agreed upon in contract
Excalibur moving group was under contract to locate a mover to move us across country for an agreed amount of money for an agreed upon weight-

They have household items of mine from a move they brokered in December with Platinum van lines and I still have not received them
They have household items of mine from a move they brokered in December with Platinum van lines and I still have not received themI call them everyday to find out when they are going to deliver my itemsThey say that they cant find my items, dont answer the phone or dont call you back when they promise too

Excalibur Moving Group represented themselves as THE movers when really they are a brokerTheir website mentions nothing of being a brokerThey contracted out to another company to complete our move and did not let us know they were a broker until after they collected our moneyNow they are doing nothing to resolve the issue of us not having weight tickets
Product_Or_Service: Interstate move

They took longer than excepted to move stuff They crushed more than 1/of my boxes, many broken things, not just cost but irreplaceable items
I was contacted by this company to handle my move I spoke with the sales rep who overe the phone did an estimate without seeing any items That should have been my first clue My estimate was about $ I had told the guy I didn't have much furniture but a ton of boxes He told me not to worry about the boxes The estimate was good They told me it would take 10-days from Washington State to Florida They asked for 1/of the cost as a deposit My second clude When they arrived we had not finished packing, which I had told the sales person and he said not to worry they would handle it So they packed a good portion of my boxes
When the driver called he said he would deliver the following day I was out of town and asked him to contact my husband They arranged a meeting time on the next days Apparently the driver

advertisement, intentional misdirection, extreme difficulty to contact customer service, not honoring a signed agreement
Essentially I purchased a move that was supposed to have had a guaranteed delivery by August 11, I call days after they take my things on August 4th and they tell me "it is impossible to get your stuff there by the 11th"My "relocation specialist" L.A(I have his full name but initialed it to keep his information private) has been unreachable, the customer service manager,***, is telling me that my expectations for the move are too high, its a *** mile move from DC to Boston, because my time frame isn't flexible enoughThis was after *** told me it was guaranteed that days would be the longest it would take them to move my itemsAdditionally, I was told that I would be allowed to have up to *** cubic feet for no additional charge as my estimate was only*** cfWhen they come to pick up my things they charge me an additional $*** for going from*

left a review on Yelp they reached out to had me sign a contract where I agreed to change my review in exchange for a refundthe check sent bounced

I was incredibly worried about my move from Florida to Kansas but working with Excalibur calmed my nerves and made the process as smooth as possibleEveryone was as friendly as could be and they delivered my things safely and quicklyI've never worked with such a wonderful moving company! I can't recommend Excalibur enough

SCAM!!!!!! DO NOT give Excalibur Moving a deposit!!! I honestly feel that Excalibur Moving is a front for a theft ring, in my experience with them, nothing about this organization rings true as a moving company!! I have made several large corporate moves with well known moving companies and can confidently say that this is not a legitimate moving organization!!!
The individuals who I worked with were *** ?, *** *** and *** ***Their emails now come back with Phishing warnings, and the web site they directed me to as theirsis FakeIn addition, all of the (so called) contract information that was sent to me is no longer available on the emails(Shame on me for not doing my research!!)
I lived in California and was making a move to Scottsdale, ArizonaExcalibur (associates) sent out a small rented Budget truck (for a sq ft home) and three laborers, who could not speak EnglishThese three men had no ID's, legit moving paperwork, or any type of credentials to show me that they were professional moversThe Bill of Lading was grossly incorrect, and had been doctoredThe driver attempted to change the move from weight to cubic feet and demanded cash up front, he then insisted that he and his two "helpers" needed to inspect the items to be movedIt was quite clear that they were "casing the joint" so I asked them to stop and please remain outside/in the garageAt this point, I had absolutely no doubt that my belongings were heading to Mexico(The border was only hours away)When I refused to allow them to load up my items onto the Budget truck the driver quickly called Excalibur and attempted to "renegotiate" the move for an additional $2000.00??? When I again refused to allow them to move my items they proceeded to harass, bully, insult, raise their voices, and threaten meI immediately demanded they leave or I would call the police
I have been working with CostCo Citibank Visa for over three months to get back over $in deposits made to ExcaliburThis has been nothing short of time consuming, endless frustration, and pure nonsenseMy Costco Citi Visa had to be cancelled and a new card issued because several fraudulent charges (Discount Tire, Hair cuts) showed up after Excalibur obtained my card number(In all honesty, I cannot recommend the CostCo Citi card either as they have been extremely slow, negligent, and unprofessional in handling this matter)
I have filed a complaint report with the Department of Transportation and the FTC, and will continue to pursue all legal remedies available to meThe most disturbing part of this incident is that my private information was shared with several, very shady individuals, some who then came into my (previous) home and also know my current place of residenceI stopped sleeping in my previous home (fear of being broken into by Excalibur associates) until the move was completed by another moving companyAt this point, I've decided to head to court

I contracted with Excalibur Moving Group in Boynton Beach, FL to move my belongings from Wichita, KS to Pensacola, FL in December Excalibur Moving Group is a broker to the mover, *** *** with Platinum Vanlines (*** said he is the owner of Platinum Vanlines)My experience thus far has consisted of poor customer service with no follow up, no returned calls, and NO delivery of my belongingsEverything began on 12/19/with a call from Excalibur's customer service giving wrong info about arrival date & time of moverWhen *** showed up, he was lateHe had a helper who was properly dressed for the cold weather and his year old son with him*** & his son were wearing short sleeves and had no jacketsMy daughter and I had to "baby sit" ***'s son, ***, while he and his helper loaded my belongingsHis son was hungry, so we fed him a snackThey broke the stair rail and were rough with my thingsIt was agreed verbally that my clothes would deliver seperately

After contracting them to move my mothers belongings they did not show up or callSaid they would refund deposit and have not done so
On OctI contracted with them to move my mothers things from NY to FlI made a deposit of $and they were to pick up her belongings on Oct or They did not show up, or callAfter constantly trying to contact the company they told me they would have to contact the driverThen when I didn't hear from them and calling back again they said they did not have a truck available and would I be able to wait an additional three days for another truckWhen I said no they said they would refund my depositI had to pay to rent a truck and have my sister drive it down for her I have been calling everyday and leaving messages and they refuse to call me backI have not received my refund to date

This moving company was deceptive and unethical in their practicesDemanded 56% higher payment, demanded cash, threatened not to deliver goods
This company should not be permitted to operateMy nephew obtained a quote of $for a move from PA to NC They increased the price of the move by
$the day of packing/loading with no supportThe day of the move, they called hours before they were supposed to arrive, demanding the final payment in CASH and changed to a 'shuttle truck' (saying that their truck wouldn't fit), adding another $At that point I intervened and called the driver to assure him that the truck would easily fit He said it was 'too late', and then threatened me that if we were not there with the cash, they would leave with his belongings Upon arriving hours late, they then demanded another $to move the items up stairs We ended up moving the items ourselves to avoid the additional expense, which caused additional back injuries for my husband

You may want to shoot yourself over this companyThieves, crooks, dishonest, arrogantSo I spent over a week speaking to (Brian *** over the bad experience I had with a previous company and trying to book the move with himI finalized the moving and paid my deposit at 10pm on a Sunday based on a flat rate and even though he sent me a binding estimate he guaranteed that I will not have any problemsMoving date comes and the movers arrive very friendly and I was told that everything is okAfter hours and after my stuff was in the truck I was told that this was a weight by pound estimate and that I had to pay a lot moreI demanded my stuff back and they refusedThe manger Adam tells me that my contract was based by weight of my move and after reviewing the contract it was never specified and he didn't care less about what I had to say and hung up on my faceI had to call to cops to get my stuff back but had to pay $fee for the driversBeware!!!!!!

Provided an artificially low initial cost estimate, company failed to communicate delays, passed *** for concerns on to other individuals
Confirmation number: XXXXXXX
On May 17, I was contacted by Excalibur Moving Group representative *** *** regarding an upcoming moveHe took phone inventory of my apartment and discussed the setupI informed him that I live on the seventh floor and there was an elevatorI also informed him that it was a long walk from my apartment to the elevator and then to the loading dock (greater than feet)He assured me that long carry fees start at the building door- not at my apartment door, and therefore it would not apply to meI paid $using a credit card over the phone to reserve with them for a move contracted to have pickup on 6/20-6/I was told I would be called closer to move with further details
On 6/15/18, *** called me to confirm my inventory and details of the moveI again mentioned elevatorI agreed up

*** from excaliber moving made a bi ding contract with us and the movers came with a higher bid to pick up our things and did not honor the contract
We had a binding contract with *** from excaliber movingHe called and text me many times and promised us no more than of a ft spaceHe stated many times we had plenty of roomI think of him many times I need ft as I used a ft uhaul to get my stuff thereI drove miles to and miles from to have them deliver my thingsWell when they showed up the mover gets out and says this is how this works and said you get by for I was scammedI tried calling *** three times while drivers was there and he would not come to the phoneI am seeking my back for depositOur contract was binding and I have text and four witnesses stating he said it would not go over and probably would be once they went to weigh station and never more than for ft truck spaceNow all our stuff is in storag
