My review of the public record documents on file at the US Bankruptcy Court in *** ** indicate that the item is accurate as it appears on the Experian credit report: a Chapter Bankruptcy filed by the consumer on 11/25/and discharged on 03/11/ Additionally, the documents confirm the consumer’s full name, last digits of his Social Security number and address at the time of filingAlthough the address is a former address, it has been reported to us by numerous creditors on his credit report and has never been disputed by the consumerDischarged Chapter Bankruptcies remains on the credit report for a period of ten years from the filing date Because the information was confirmed accurate, we must respectfully decline the consumer’s request to remove the disputed information from the Experian credit report. When a consumer disputes the accuracy or completeness of information on their personal credit report and tell us specifically why they believe the information is inaccurate or incomplete, we process the dispute as required by lawWe contact the furnisher of the information or the vendor that collected the information from a public record source such as a court or other government office. We ask the furnisher or the vendor to conduct a thorough and complete investigation to verify all of the information regarding the item the consumer disputed, and report back within days of the date that we received the request We review and consider the response to determine whether to accept it, reject it, or follow up for additional informationIf we do not receive a response from the furnisher or the vendor within the required period, we update the item as requested or delete the information, and send the consumer the results If, after processing, we find that the disputed information is inaccurate, incomplete or cannot be verified, we then delete that information, or modify that information, as appropriate, based upon the dispute and the results of our processingIn some instances, upon reviewing the credit file and any relevant information the consumer has submitted to us, we are able to determine whether the disputed information should be changed or deleted without having to contact the furnisher or the vendorAfter we complete our processing, we send the consumer the results Each national consumer credit reporting agency may interpret the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act differently and each company has their own policies and guidelines for disputing informationTherefore, we cannot update or delete information in our database based on the results of a dispute with another consumer credit reporting agency nor can we dispute information for a consumer with another consumer credit reporting agency. I already tried to dispute this onlineThey refuse to do it onlineThey want me to call themI workI do not have time to sit on the phone and wait for them to answer, or argue with them about if I am the correct person and try and identify myselfExperien is known for this, they do not absolutely do not want to work with you to try and get inaccuracies off your creditThey have an online site for a reason and when they refuse to allow you to use that to do what you need to do it just shows me that they do not, absolutely do not, want to work with you at allThey have two Social Security numbers for meI would be committing a criminal offence if I had two Social Security numbersI do not, and there are other accuracies that I am NOT allowed to dispute online, also I find them inept and unwilling to work with the customer whi is forced to deal with them
