My review of the public record documents on file at the US Bankruptcy Court in *** ** indicate that the item is accurate as it appears on the Experian credit report: a Chapter Bankruptcy filed by the consumer on 11/25/and discharged on 03/11/ Additionally, the documents confirm the consumer’s full name, last digits of his Social Security number and address at the time of filingAlthough the address is a former address, it has been reported to us by numerous creditors on his credit report and has never been disputed by the consumerDischarged Chapter Bankruptcies remains on the credit report for a period of ten years from the filing date Because the information was confirmed accurate, we must respectfully decline the consumer’s request to remove the disputed information from the Experian credit report. When a consumer disputes the accuracy or completeness of information on their personal credit report and tell us specifically why they believe the information is inaccurate or incomplete, we process the dispute as required by lawWe contact the furnisher of the information or the vendor that collected the information from a public record source such as a court or other government office. I would willing to respond to Experuan request for further information from me, however they did not include contact information on where to send the documentation that they requested which is part of the customer service issue I have with their services They request a lot of the consumer to verify for them however they do not do their part in providing the necessary information to facilitate that process
