We contact the furnisher of the information or the vendor that collected the information from a public record source such as a court or other government office either electronically or by US Mail. We ask the furnisher or the vendor to conduct a thorough and complete investigation to verify all of the information regarding the disputed item, and report back within the time frame required by law. We review and consider the response to determine whether to accept it, reject it, or follow up for additional information. If, after processing, we find that the disputed information is inaccurate, incomplete or cannot be verified, we then delete that information, or modify that information, as appropriate, based upon the dispute and the results of our processing. Weappreciate consumers who take the time to let us know about their experiences with our company.We have reviewed and considered the information you have supplied, including two attachments,through the Revdex.com portal and directly to Experian. In your complaint, on March 31, 2015, you notifiedExperian that your mother passed away on March 17, 2015. You further state that you included acopy of the death certificate. You requested her account to be closed, annotated that your mother isdeceased, and any other protective measure against future fraudulent activities. You have sincereceived a refusal notice by Experian that stated they would not mark your deceased mother'saccount as closed until you fill out their appropriate paperwork and resend another death certificate.You further state this paperwork asks for information about your mother that you do not have and youhad already sent copy of the death certificate. You would like Experian to immediately close yourmother's account and or annotate 'deceased'.Please accept our apology for any difficulty you might have experienced while trying to close yourmother's credit report. Our management team continuously reviews the service levels provided by ouroffice and it has been brought to their attention that you feel that you did not receive the quality ofservice that you believe you deserve. This is incorrect!!! [redacted] is the current servicer!  [redacted] sold/transferred these loans back in 2012.  How difficult is this to resolve?

Send copies of any documents you wish to provide to us and always retain your originaldocuments.
