CreditReporting Act, credit grantors with a permissible purpose may inquire about credit information. Requests for your client's credit history remain on the personal Credit report for 2 years. The federal Fair CreditReporting Act (the "FCRA) section 604 outlines permissible purposes of consumer reports. The inquiries shown on a credit report are a factual record of the companies who have accessed and reviewed a consumer's profile. They are only logged on the report, when in fact, an inquiry was made. A record of this activity, pursuant to federal law, must remain a part of record. Please note that Experian does not receive a copy of any applications made to credit grantors. The consumer may wish to contact the creditor directly for that information. Therefore, we must respectfully deny the consumer's request to remove the inquiries. If I may be of further assistance you, please feel free to contact me directly.Sincerely,[redacted] Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate

Upon completion of this process, we will provide the results of our investigation directly to the consumer. If there is additional information appearing on a Credit report that is believed to be inaccurate or incomplete, we must have a specific dispute. Examples of specific disputes are as follows: "not mine, paid in full, never delinquent or included in bankruptcy” or for public record disputes: "not mine, paid/satisfied, vacated or filed in error". If the status dates, amounts, balances or other specific data is incorrect, the consumer should also indicate what the correct information should be. Fair CreditReporting Act, entities who have certified to Experian that they have a permissible purpose may inquire about credit information. For example, organizations that have granted you creditor with whom you have applied for credit, or entities collecting on transactions that you initiated or on judgments rendered against you, are permitted to make inquiries on your credit report. Requests for your credit history remain on the personal credit report for at least two years.inquiries from credit grantors who request your credit information as part of your application for Credit will display under the heading "Inquiries shared with others" on your personal Credit report. These inquiries display on your credit report when it is accessed by others with a permissible purpose. These inquiries may affect your Credit score.Other inquiries for your credit information are considered "soft" inquiries and do not affect your Credit score. Some examples are: your current creditors to monitor your accounts, other creditors who want to offer you preapproved credit, an employer who wishes to extend an offer of employment, a potential investor assessing the risk of a current credit obligation, an end user to complete your mortgage loan application, and insurance underwriting (auto or home). For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have been contacting this company in regards to this matter for over a year... there are medical bills on my report that I have no knowledge off and are not mine... I spoke with someone in regards to address that is NOT MINE nor have I lived there and was told the address is connected to these accounts.... inaccurate and wrong information. I contacted the company itself and was told they would investigate n delete if not done in a timely manner to which NEITHER COMPSNY HAS DONE EITHER AND THIS HAS GOTTEN OUT OF HAND!!!
