Dear Revdex.com:Our office recently received your Correspondence dated August 14, 2017, regarding the above mentioned consumer's personal Credit report.A personal credit report, by law, must list all parties that have sequested a consumer's credit history. According to the Fair Credit...
Reporting Act, Credit grantors with a permissible purpose may inquire about Credit information. Requests for your client's Credit history remain on the personal credit report for 2 years. The federal Fair CreditReporting Act (the "FCRA") section 604 outlines permissible purposes of Consumer reports. The inquiries shown on a Credit report are a factual record of the companies who have accessed and reviewed a consumer's profile. They are only logged on the report, when in fact, an inquiry was made. A record of this activity, pursuant to federal law, must remain a part of record. Please note that Experian does not receive a copy of any applications made to credit grantors. The consumer may wish to contact the creditor directly for that information. Therefore, we must respectfully deny the Consumer's request to remove the inquiries. If I may be of further assistance you, please feel free to contact me directlySincerely,[redacted] Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate

mentioned consumer's personal credit report. Our records indicate that we have not previously received this complaint from the Revdex.com.An Extended Security Alert has been added to the consumer's credit report. This message, which will expire after 7 years, alerts credit grantors to verify the consumer's identification in case someone is using their information without their consent. We are currently investigating the [redacted] and [redacted] accounts with which the consumer disagrees. Upon completion of this process, we will provide the results of our investigation directly to the Consumer. Our records indicate that the Express account appears as an account in good standing on the consumer's current Experian credit report. If there is additional information appearing on a credit report that is believed to be inaccurate or incomplete, we must have a specific dispute. Examples of specific disputes are as follows: “not mine, paid in full, never delinquent or included in bankruptcy" or for public record disputes: “not mine, paid/satisfied, vacated or filed in error". If the status dates, amounts, balances or other specific data is incorrect, the consumer should also indicate what the correct information should be. Please specify the item or account name and number. Please provide the consumer's specific disputes along with their complete identification information (Social Security number, full name, current address, previous addresses in the last two years and date of birth). Also, please include one copy of a government issued identification card, such as a driver's license, state ID card, etc., and one copy of a utility bill, bank or insurance statement, etc. Each national consumer credit reporting agency may interpret the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act differently and each company has their own policies and guidelines for disputing information.
